Not a huge deal but a little frustrating that it wasn't super clear on the website that the hitch receiver I was looking at was for a certain submodel of my car because on the vehicle fitment it said guaranteed to fit my model and year. Ended up trying to install and realized it wasn't going to go back together properly and had to take the hitch receiver back off. They made it easy enough to return but just a little bummed I have to go through the process again.
Etrailer is working through a fit issue with our 2021 Subaru Ascent. They have been great to work with so far, the fix is still being worked. The video on the 2020 Ascent hitch installation is very good and gives you nearly everything you need to know how to do the hitch install. You also need to know how to disconnect sensors, but the 2020 in the video didn't have sensors in the fascia ('bumper').
So far I haven't pitched a hitch fit.
