I'm old, fairly mechanically inclined, totally inexperienced with rebuilding RV trailer hubs/brakes... but seeing the required parts listed along with videos of their installation/adjustment gave me the confidence to do this job. It appears my outer bearing caved in and caused major damage but, thankfully, it came apart as I was backing into my driveway AFTER towing the trailer across a major lake dam and through some complex road construction! Thank you, God!

Unfortunately my order came incomplete. Now it seems I have to order a whole new mat/ rug instead of just the missing portion. This mean I must remove missing pieces from new order or repack the old order. Neither an easy task because it is oversized and the box isn't easy to open without ripping which makes the return that much harder. Not even sure if I have to bring the package somewhere which is also difficult. Not a good purchasing experience at all.

I placed an order for Rhino racks because of the positive reviews. Was told by Amy at etrailer that it would ship UPS. It didn't. It would arrive on 2/1/24. It didn't. Then 2/6/24. It didn't. Now I'm told that they can't track it and to call back after 14 days to discuss a refund. Then recieved an email saying that I could reorder and pay extra for express shipping all without refunding or crediting me from the first order. I was also told by etrailer that over 20 other customers were calling about the same issue.

This place is a joke with a bunch of employees who lie. Ordered a faucet from there website. They state a delivery date ( not estimated) and faucet never showed up. Had to buy a faucet from a different place. Now I'm fighting to get my refund and still don't have the faucet. I would never buy anything from this place ever again

This is the second time I ordered the trailer wiring for a 2012 Nissan Frontier and this is the second time the relay caps will NOT seat. It was too long after the first order to return them before I attempted to install them. This one has the same issue. Even using Dielectric grease as suggested by etrailer they will not seat all the way down. Trying to return this set, but no luck so far.

The guy I emailed back and forth has no clue on how this trailer wiring works. He keeps telling me the blue relay caps do not get installed, when in fact they most certainly have to. He keeps quoting part of the manual for a different section of this wiring setup. I sent him a Youtube video of the installation and he still insist the blue relay switches should not be installed. Very frustrating. His name is Daylan H.

Order a part on Dec 25th on Jan 4th after no tracking movement they refused to refund my money for an additional 14 days! Terrible customer service! Don't buy from them as they are horrible! Check bbb cases for yourself

Manufacturer's drawings confirm the part number is correct for my vehicle and the width, but it does not fit the vehicle so I will have to have plates fabricated to make it fit.
All this is absolutely true so please spare yourself any further burden in trying to figure it out.
The part simply did fit the vehicle for which it was manufactured, and the vehicle has not been modified or damaged.

Staff did all that could be done, although I had to repeat the same facts a few times. I understand.

I imputed my vehicle make and model and was sent a wiring harness for a completely different vehicle. Now my car is stuck at the shop while I get a replacement elsewhere because etrailer wasn't willing to do anything other than charge $16 for return postage and wanted to charge extra for overnight shipping. I used to be able to recommend this place but not anymore!

They sell you an very incompatable product even after adding your vehicle make and model and listing it as compatible ieToyota Prius part for my Buick! And say it's your fault and charge at least double the shipping cost to return the product.

After 3 hours of trying to get the hitch to align properly, I noticed the flange on the drivers side was bent inward which prevented proper alignment. The original packing came extremely damaged with parts of the hitch protruding outside the packaging which is probably why the hitch was damaged. I spoke with Sara in customer service on 3/7/24 who is shipping a new replacement hitch. Daniel B. Sent the Return Goods Authorization 3538-*******-756-17. I have attached the RGA to the package and will be taking it to UPS for return.

Sara worked with me to get a new replacement hitch shipped.

I had ordered some parts for my Rhino Rack and the box that the parts came in did not include everything that it was supposed to. It's extremely frustrating to receive a product that is useless without that part that is excluded. There are other online sites that sell the same products as Etrailer, and I recommend using them instead of dealing with missing parts. How my order left their fulfillment center with missing parts shows their lack of professionalism and extremely poor service. You should get what you paid for, not an opportunity to dial their number and speak to impatient customer service with poor solutions to a problem that Etrailer created. I wont buy from them in the future, and anyone should be hesitant at doing so as well.

Not very satisfied with their customer service are the return Policy. I purchased A AC unit for a camper Which was defected when I purchased it After months ofHaggling with them to get them to replace The company finally agreed i could send it back for the warranty As long as I paid the Shipping ($85) By the time Experts came out to diagnose the problem it has cost me $400 And I'm still waiting 14 for them to ship me my other air conditioner

I recently purchased a Stainless Steel truck tool box latch from eTrailer. It broke within days. (The photos below show the lock bolt jammed sideways under its cheap sheetmetal retainer.) Their response was that they could not give a refund due to the fact that I had already installed it. What kind of policy is that? Their alternative was to offer me a 25% reimbursement to keep their junk part. That would have amounted to about $15. I wrote a polite and diplomatic response, asking for 10% off of my next purchase in exchange for keeping the defective part and I would try to repair it myself. They declined my offer, saying they could not discount future orders (really?) Finally, I asked them to take 50% off of their defective part and they withdrew all offers. I will shop elsewhere in the future.

Don't buy anything that you might wish to return.

I asked repeatedly (phone and chat) if I needed anything else to install. No nuts to attach the drum to the axle. Multiple emails to get me to fill out this review after delivery. Glad I waited until after the install. Had to run to the parts store to get the nuts for the the drum attachment. Not convenient.

I was replacing the old airbags with new ones. When I went to put the new ones on, I realized that the upper brackets were too short. So at that time I dug the old ones out of the trash, reused my upper brackets that were long enough to do the job, I didn't have much of a choice since I had everything tore apart at the time was not real happy with the situation.

We purchased a spare tire mount for $745 4 days ago and haven't received it yet. We now see the price is $697, but they will not issue a credit for $50. They said we could return this heavy item for $50 and then they would send us a new one at the new price. We asked if they would pay the freight for the return and were told NO. Zero stars for customer service or customer retention efforts. You just lost a long time customer...Amazon...here we come.

I returned an order that was misrepresented on their end. They withheld $120 from the return saying the package had been opened which, of course it had been... I was planning on using it until it became obvious that it was not the right item for my truck. I'm not sure how any of this is an error on my end. If I put in my vehicle information and their website shows this item in the return of the search, some little disclaimer at the bottom of the page that says this item may not fit my vehicle is not some free pass to skim money off every purchase. If you are going to show items that may or may not fit a vehicle then punishing people for making those orders and then opening the box to confirm that it does or does not fit... well, that is a buyer be ware situation. I'm trying my best here to make sure the buyer is VERY AWARE of what I can label as nothing less than a corporate scheme to defraud buyers. If I could give them minus 100 stars I would as I feel like this is the most deplorable behavior a company can engage in.

I bought a Thule awning and 2 weeks later it's almost $100 cheaper. I could have purchased elsewhere for cheaper at the time but since I had a food experience with etrailer I bought It. I contacted them about a price adjustments and they don't do it. Pretty disappointing. Il probably buy elsewhere moving forward.

I have spent a lot of money with etrailer over the last few years. About six months ago we replaced the electric brake assy's and drums on a customers trailer. The customer brought the trailer back for the brakes not working. We found the magnets dug deep grooves in the drums the likes we have never seen so the magnets were not making good contact. We replaced the drums and brake assy's at no charge to the customer. With the new parts, the brakes worked perfectly. After going back and forth with etrailer they will not warranty the parts. Whether they believe me that the parts failed or not I was shocked this is how they would treat a long time regular customer. We will be finding a new source for our trailer parts.
