Careful. They will charge your card without consent and steal and you will not be able to cancel. You are not even able to take a card off the account---there is no way to remove --- that is how shady this company is. Please look and heed the other reviews.
We bought a course from these guys that we couldn't do because my partner got pregnant. We later asked to access the course, but we're told we need to buy the second level in order to access it. We would warn everyone and anyone trying to buy their services they are not to be trusted.
I joined Eteacher/Rosen School of Hebrew with high hopes. Was told they had 24 hour customer service and recorded lessons in case you miss a weekly lesson. I missed a lesson and soon found out that is not the case. I use a Mac and the customer service rep said she was unable to help with mac. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told no.
Someone called and sent lessons via email and told me this would not happen again... guess what it did.
I again could not download lesson, rep was unable to help, asked to speak with a supervisor and again told no. I have spend 1000's of dollars and they only care about the money. Shame as i had high hopes. I would not recommend anyone pay this company.
They will respond saying this is not acceptable we will call you to fix it. All talk!
They will follow you with offers ( some of that offers fake) and they will be decent till they get your credit card details, after that no reply, they take money from your bank account without your permission, they will say they will call you and they will never do that, they will ignore any messages from you to help, they do not respect their policy, no notifications if they cancel classes, and never give you money if they take it, they will send you Email to threaten you to give them money of classes that you do not take

The course is great. Highly recommended! The Teacher is excellent, exactly the one we have chosen. BUT I miss unities in the course, in wich we can study dialogues. For those outside Israel, it is very important.
I have been studying for 4 years. They offer a good curriculum and the teachers have been good. BUT THEIR BUSINESS POLICIES AND SERVICE ARE TERRIBLE! 1. They will use high pressure techniques and not take NO for an answer. 2. You only have about 2 days to get a full refund. After than cancellation fees are 50-100% of the enrollment cost - that is about $600-1200 USD 3. They will charge you to change your start date if you attempt to do so more than once no matter what is said by the salesperson 4. If you have a financial problem with them, they will stonewall you and since they are not bound by US laws, there is little recourse. Kiss your money good bye. Their business practices are unjust, disrespectful and unfair. So be very careful when you buy something from them - and record your conversations if possible. Good luck. If you know this before you sign up, you won't get stuck. (PS - and yes, if they incorrectly charge your credit card just submit it as fraud because they will never admit that they screwed up and don't seem to have a reliable accounting system).
I had an outstanding problem with my classes because of my work schedule problem. The customer care manager, Mr. Jeremy Lalush, resolved my issue and gave me the option to study at my convenient time. I recommend Eteacher Group to anyone who wants to study both Biblical or modern Hebrew. They are amazing and the tech support agents are there to help you at any time.

With our local exchange rate courses are very expensive but the scholarship has made it possible for me to continue with studies. Also having the classes recorded means my study time is flexible and I can listen to something as many times as needed.
I have tried many Hebrew learning programs on my own, but my teacher and the materials really helped me learn better. I was able to strengthen my foundation and increase my confidence in speaking. I saw complaints about the aggressive sales tactics, but Israeli businesses style is very direct that way. There were some discounts and financing options which made it affordable. I really enjoyed the small class group with students from all over the wold!
This course is most certainly worth ones time and money. I still have eleven lessons to go, guided by an amazing Teacher! Take the course! You will be forever thankful you did... AND, a finer group of classmates you will never find! We care about each other, and have become family. Im really going to miss seeing and hearing them every week when this course is finished. I will definitely be signing up for more courses!
In the past I followed courses in Holland on different places, travel time was about one our for a single trip. With e-Teacher, you have no travel time at all, and all your books at hand.
Teachers are very professional, and very helpful.
The software internet tools give the feeling, like sitting in a class.
Recordings, handouts, print of notes, it's all available.
I hope to follow courses and seminars many more years.
An excellent course composed of a superior quality of teachers interested in the student truly learning, in addition to this they have a platform with a good audio and video system and perfectly prepared and personalized classes. Very satisfied, they have exceeded my expectations!
My own: When learning a new language practice is very important. I believe that another hour should be set up for the students to interact with each other without the presence of the teacher. This action would give us more practice and develop friendships amongst the students. חזרה חשוב מאוד

I don't have a lot of time to dedicate to studies as I would like but I try very hard to get something done in between each lesson and always look forward to the weekly classes with a great teacher and warm environment.
Paula Altgenug is not only warm and personable woman, but just as important she is perceptive, astute, and knowledgeable teacher. She quickly notes a problem, diagnoses it, explains the word with synonyms and/or gestures, or else explains the structural / grammatical issue. As a teacher myself, I find is fascinating to follow her thought processes.The course is challenging, and for me (and I suspect my classmates) significant homework is requisite..
It is the first time I've done anything like this in using the computer and I'm not sure why. It's a great experience although occasionally the net work fails but nothing is infallible. I learnt some Biblical Hebrew before but I've never learnt the correct pronunciation and this course helps a great deal.
From the first moment that I sent my info to eTeacherHebrew they have been nothing but helpful. Through several phone calls they explained everything I wanted to know, always called back at our scheduled time and if I didn't answer, they called again later.
Then I read the reviews and got a little scared. How could some people have such a terrible experiance and others have and awesome one? It looked suspicious. And I nearly decided to forget about it. But after speaking with one of the representatives about this I decided to try it anyway. AND IT IS AWESOME. The calls are great and fun. I am really enjoying this. Everyone has been super helpful and I have not had a single problem.

Generally, the experience has been a good one. It is sometimes difficult since the sentence structure is quite different than what we have in English. While learning the language, if you can supplement the course you like it will help you retain the language. For example, I like music and dancing, so I like to listen to Israeli Folk Dance and try and understand the words, which helps me retain vocabulary.
My first Hebrew lesson with eteacherhebrew was very exciting for me, I've wanted to learn for a long time. The entire course was great and I learned a lot, but what made this really worth it was my teacher. She was so caring and patient, and she had to be with me, that I really felt like she cared that I was getting the most out of this. I asked her a lot about the things she was teaching, like vocabulary and grammar rules, but I also drove her crazy with questions about Israel, the news there, how the holidays are celebrated, I just wanted to know everything. She was amazing, she taught us Hebrew through news clips and showed us pictures and updates whenever there was an event there she thought we'd be interested in, like Independence Day.

As you could probably see from the many other positive reviews written in this website and in many others, it is highly irregular that such an unfortunate experience like the one you had arise, and therefore I would like to try and see if there's anything in our ability to do in order to correct the negative impression that was created.
