Worst bank I have ever used in Kenya. Incorrect transaction charges, unreliable apps, slow customer service response, unhelpful customer service feedback, poor communication, long periods to money to transfer money and a lot of disorganization at their small branches!

Over 70% of my mobile banking attempts fail. It's so frustrating especially when you need to make an urgent transaction. In 2 days I've made over 15 transaction attempts to no success. I had Equitel and the Eazzy Banking app, called customer care and was advised to install Equity Mobile. Same failure. Give me a reason to stick to your services
The most unprofessional bank ever. I closed my account and opened a KCB account and they are way better. When you complain to the management about your dissatisfaction, they are worse than those below them.

Don't take loans from them no matter how well they sell it to you.

When you call them, you can wait on the line for up to 10 minutes and the worst thing is that you're using your own airtime. This means that it can deplete even before you get help. This is bad!
They have branches all over the country yet they cannot give their depositors decent interests on deposits and other securities?
Equity Bank Kenya, I have been in several countries and had first class experience in customer service and assistance,
Lucky enough also to have worked in 5* Facilities where customer satisfaction and customer experience is top priority. Therefore i understand the positive and negative customer service.
Unfortunately i missed this experience from Equity online assistance (Live Chart). I felt the staff was not willing to assist or to give information in regards to my Inquiry.
Her way of response during the chart was not professional and felt its need to be addressed. I would not like another person to have that kind of experience. I tried to open one of the link she shared but was not working. I feel this kind her attitude in customer service is a minus especially for people in abroad countries with limited access to bank and rely on this platform.
