How Equipmentfacts Works
Auction listings appear on the Equipmentfacts.com website with photos, specifications, descriptions, and videos. The searchable, user-friendly site lets potential bidders contact sellers via phone, email, video chat, and popular apps such as WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. Equipmentfacts staff will handle many of the most time-consuming aspects of bidder management on auction day, including uploading the sales day catalog, managing bidder registra...
The company generally enjoys a positive reputation for its user-friendly online auction platform and efficient customer service, with many customers expressing satisfaction with their bidding experiences and prompt assistance when issues arise. However, several concerns have emerged, including frustrations with bid discrepancies, lack of acknowledgment for pre-bids, and occasional technical difficulties that hinder the bidding process. Customers also noted issues with communication and billing accuracy, particularly regarding buyer premiums. Overall, while the company demonstrates strengths in customer support and auction execution, addressing these recurring concerns could enhance overall customer satisfaction.

My experience was great. The only issue I had was the sound, and I don't know if that might be, my laptop haven't been able to check that out.But in the past, it's been a lot louder, so I don't know.
I bid and won on an online auction for a machine that was listed as loaded with low hours only to find out the operating system had been deleted to eliminate the DEF exhaust additive. Should have been disclosed and I think the PA auction house may be getting a letter from my attorney. Very very disappointed. When I received the machine there was a sign on the window so folks at the auction could see that the DEF was deleted but there was no notice to online participants.
Matthew, thank you for bringing this to our attention—transparency is very important to us, and we’re sorry the listing did not meet your expectations. We appreciate your feedback greatly and will review how information is displayed to ensure all bidders have the full picture upfront. Please reach out to the seller directly to work toward a resolution.
It was pretty good and it all worked like it's supposed to.
Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts, Daniel! We’re really glad everything went smoothly and met your expectations.
Have bid several times via EquipmentFacts. Most have been very acceptable experiences.
If I have one complaint it is that, I have not recieved a notification that my bid was sucessful during the auction process. Have had to wait until the auction has invoiced me untill know for sure.
Thank you for the feedback, Robert!
Very pleased. Online bidding was fast and easy. Bought 1 lot and bid on several others. Have bought from EF in the past and will in the future.
David, thank you for your thoughtful feedback and continued trust in our service. We’re glad to hear that the bidding process was smooth and look forward to seeing you again!
This was my first time in one of your auctions. I joined it last minute by registering the day before after seeing an item on Crane Trader. The links on the auction web took me to your system to register. I wasn't hopeful that I would be able to register as I had tried to enter a JJ Kane auction for the same item a month ago but was unsuccessful as a Canadian to register without a US zip code. I was the winning bid on the item and would recommend your platform.
Thank you so much, Jeff, for choosing our auction and sharing your positive experience. We truly appreciate your feedback and are delighted to hear you were successful and felt encouraged to participate. We look forward to serving you again at upcoming auctions!
The Equipment Facts platform is easy to use although in a multi ring live auction sale it can be difficult to monitor items even when you use the Watch feature. Better descriptions of items by the auctioneers would be extremely helpful. All in all, I like using EF and will continue to.
Thanks Gale! We'll let the sellers know.
The bidding process was fairly simple. There were a number of auction sites which had the equipment that I was looking for. I was able to locate one and was successful in making a purchase.
Thanks, Kenneth!
I had 2 pre bid offer to yesterday auction and first item I pre-bidded on was never recognized at auction site. Therefore I missed out on first item. On my second bid was recognized and my bid was successful
Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately, the auctioneer has to take the bid to complete any sale.
Great online platform. Asked a question about an item prior to it selling but never got a response. Was asking if an upcoming item had a title or not. Didn't bid because I never received an answer.
Thanks for the feedback! That would up to the seller to provide. If they don't provide, then don't bid.
Worst run sale I have ever been on. Kept loosing the auction and went to auction in progress. Your lot numbers did not match actual lot number. When called tech line was not helpful at all. They kept blaming the people at Triple H. Your service is a damn joke. Bob
Thanks, for the feedback. We'll let the seller know, they are responsible for the auction and the connection. Unfortunately some rural connections are as good as they can be and have some connection issues.
Your audio kept going off. For the amount of money you charge that is bull shit. And unacceptable to me.
I was sighed up for text alerts on my liked items…. After receiving an alert I would go to page as quick as I could and try to bid but the item would be sold already, and like the brush mowers,
Hi David, thank you for sharing your experience. I understand how frustrating it can be receiving alerts only to find items already sold, and we’re continually working to improve timing so you have the best chance to bid. We appreciate your feedback and hope your next auction experience exceeds your expectations.
First time I actually won a bid! Love the auctions! Now that I won, what is next. I know it said I will be invoiced…. How soon does that happen? My banks are closed and I'm still waiting for the rest of my money to transfer to my account.
Thanks in advance!
Happy Turkey Day!
Thank you, Randy
5135057323…. Awesome! FYI i bought the white truck with the red stripier on the bottom
The auction itself went well, but to be charged 10% on a $95,000 piece of an equipment is nothing short of criminal. Without a buyer, nothing sells, yet we are penalized with outrageous buyer's fees. Unless you are willing to negotiate down this unacceptable percentage rate, needless to say we will NEVER use your on line auction services again.
Fool me once, shame on you
Fool me twice, shame on me
Thanks for the feedback, Dan. We have no control over buyer premiums, the seller controls every penny of that. Each seller is different so I wouldn't lump them all together, as they charge many different rates.
I bid on a mini excavator, the description said hydraulic thumb was included. It didn't come with it, and it was badly damaged which was not listed in the auction description.
Thank you for your feedback!

The people there are great. Bidding not so good 1 they have a time and I had 3 bids I wanted too make had 12 minutes went and grabbed a glass of water and my things I wanted to bid on were gone. 2i bid on another a plow hit the button and then it ws sold too someone else even tho I wa the highest bidder.all and all I had about 20 hours in research and left empty handed. Better luck next time..
Thanks for the feedback, Mark!
I was bidding on a tractor and it was going fine. Moving up and i was in and the auctioneer was calling for final and someone bid again, i think off another bidfing platform. The Auctioneer was calling for me to bid again saying "Equipment Facts" calling for $21,500 over and over. But the only option i had available was to bid $22,000. He was counting down so I bid thinking he would certainly recognize that i wanted to bid $21,500. And thinking that is how it would go through because he was clearly calling for $21,500 AND as I had been listening for some time and had already bought one tractor (without problems)... But they had to stop several times earlier in the sale to either wait for Equipment Facts to catch up or get straightened out...
However much to my disappointment he sounded surprised and took the $22,000 bid! And sold it to me for that. I feel quite confident the $21,500 bid would have gotten the tractor purchased and so am very disappointed with Equipment Facts.
I have been using this for some time and made several purchases over the years but if you do not resolve this I will try to find other platforms to use instead.

Thanks for the feedback! Someone will follow-up with you.
I've always wanted to figure out the auction process at my local auction. I drive by all the time and admire all the trucks and equipment. This experience started with my boss down sizing his fleet. I drove all the equipment to the auction. One of the trucks he got rid of I really needed and tried to buy. He wouldn't accept my offer so I was going to try one more time through the auction since I wanted to learn about it anyway. It was so simple. I just downloaded the app, set up an account with a pass word and attached a credit card to it. They didn't charge the card anything. Within minutes I found the truck I was looking for and got the lot number. The auction was already going on at this point and hit the live button and in real time I was sitting in my driveway yet I was at the auction on my phone. The lot numbers came in order and you could see pictures of the lot as people were bidding, but it happens fast. It worked out for me cause I got the truck. After the bid, a percentage for the auction house and a smaller percentage for the ability to sit in my driveway on my phone I still got the truck for less than I offered him.
Great for you!
I bid on and purchased 2 items from the auction. My invoice showed that I had 2 items to pay for and pick up. When I got there, there was only one Tractor at that auction site to pay for and pick up. The other one was there, but I was informed that someone at the auction had purchased it. I was then told I needed to pick 1 up at a different auction site that I know nothing about and that site was closed. That Tractor was $1000 more than the one that I thought that I had purchased. Screwy experience
Thanks for the feedback, we'll let the seller know.
It's so easy for us to bid online and watch the auction live while continuing with our work and not having to physically be at the site where it's held.
