EnergyBillCruncher Reviews Summary

The company's reputation is mixed, with positive sentiments highlighting the potential benefits of solar energy and a generally knowledgeable staff. Customers appreciate the concept of solar solutions, especially in light of rising utility costs. However, significant concerns arise regarding the customer service approach, particularly around communication, transparency, and responsiveness. Many reviews express frustration with the initial qualification process, perceived delays in service, and inadequate support for specific living situations, such as those in trailer parks or condos. Overall, while there is optimism about solar energy, the company needs to enhance its customer engagement and clarify its processes to improve satisfaction.

Good I want to see if this is up a possibility considering I live up north in Wisconsin and interested in finding out how long it will take for me to recoup my investment considering that I am 68 years old. I'm not sure that it would work for me because my energy bills are not that high. So let's crunch some numbers and figure this out. Of course there is always a little token tree, hugger, payback, saving electricity. Looking forward to talking to you and wondering when you will give me a call this week

Ez to fill out except for the question about how much shade is in your yard. In the winter I have almost no shade but in summer the big trees leaf out creating quite a bit of shade

Haven't seen anything yet. Just spotted it on my phone so I thought that I would let them give me their spill and see if it sounds affordable

In the general SW Portland area, one of your preferred contractors, De Bella / Da Bella has an un enviable reputation. I will never do business with that company, and seriously question doing business which describes Da Balla as a preferred contractor.

January 17, 2026

NYSEG went and changed our meters. Lived in this house over 20 years and bill never went over 350/month. Now it's over 500! How does that happen and how are we going to keep getting high bill! I just don't understand!

Your initial ad asks will government cover the cost, the result does not answer the question. Deceptive. Not a good way to start a business relationship

No free government install info, however very personal info was requested. Seems like phishing to me at this point. Hope the potential vendors are legit

The HOA in this development will not allow anything on the roof except shingles. My electric bill is high and as my husband passed away 5 months ago it has been very difficult making ends meet. I believe it is a violation of your civil rights to be told what you can and cannot do to the house you pay for. Time to send the Congressmen a letter. Or maybe the President himself. HO A's need to be banned.

Not interested
January 15, 2026

It was ok but I am unlikely to get involved. I am not sure if there will be any significant savings for me. I will consider this if I have more information on what is involved, and how it will save me money on my energy bills. Also I would like to see evidence in the form of data that I can use to make a decision.
