Contracted for plank flooring and a sound proof underlay, my son has disability and walks with a cane and it makes alot of noise. Never told that underlay would void warranty of planking. 2 time they came to install an sent one person who both times told me they could not move my washer and dryer. After i had called the first time to explain that it would take two people they are front loading and n pedestals. Both time they had no dolly either. I cancelled because i am not getting what i ordered. Empire is saying that i am getting the planking that i order and it has a backing that is rated for sound. That's great but still not what i ordered or want. After having to wait twice for them to come and do the job I'm done with them. They will not give me my deposit back even thought they have done no work and are not giving me what the contract states.
After being told i would not get my deposit back, i later received a call from corporate and they have refunded my deposit.
2 stars but 1-1/2 is more accurate. They were prompt and the floors look pretty good.
However, they caused an outrageous amount of damage to my drywall, baseboards, and cabinets. I expected to have to do some paint touchups but I need actual professional REPAIRS. I am still finding damage a week later. I am sick about it.
The install supervisor was at my house fewer than 10 minutes before leaving for the day, leaving 3 installers who were non-English speaking and with whom I could not communicate. They left in a hot hurry when they were finished and now I know why. I very much regret hiring this company.

I had LVP installed in my new home. Unfortunately, there is a lot of flexing in my kitchen, hallways, and living room. I just opened my third ticket with customer service but having an impossible time hearing back from anyone to get this problem resolved.

This company installed Laminate wood in my stairs, installation was fast no problem, after two weeks from the installation, the laminate started to come apart, have been calling customer service for the last two weeks with no success, bad customer service, still waiting for their customer service to call me for the repair, will never recommend this company to no one!

The carpet installers were terrible forgetting tools and borrowing tools as well as damaging and not telling about it. The carpet was installed it two directions and wood tract strips all came lose from all walls. Carpet also had string problems that came lose. Installers left plastic behind in room and in yard as well as carpet. There is no response from any management on problems caused as well as compensation. They will not return your calls. As far as carpet with Empire! I would never have it with them again. I just recommend that you check all options. Sometimes a good deal is not good at all.

Salesman was fantastic on time, communicated, where it goes wrong is the installer shows up at 8am states he doesn't speak English rips out the old carpet in no time. I go outside to follow him to his truck & he brought the wrong color carpet and argues with me that I verified as he pulled up that it was the correct carpet. Which is false because I hadn't even seen it yet and when I spoke to him he said no English. They left with nails all over the stairs I had to make several calls for them to come back to at least put padding on to cover the nails. I called customer service they said they would be back with the correct carpet at this time it was 930 am they left me hanging all day no communication after that.I called 3 times throughout the day. It's 530 now & I'm left with no carpet on my stairs & no future appointment. No courtesy to respond on the current situation. Wasted my Saturday.

We decided to get Empire Today to install some LVP in our house. Not only did they damage multiple parts of our home and belongings, but they did a horrible job with the floor. Missed details right and left. Transitions that sit above the floor over a half inch. Materials left under the laminate causing bumps. Very poor customer service. Lies from the get go. Will never ever use this company again and I fully intend to report this to the BBB

I recently bought laminate and carpeting for my home. When the laminate job (job was 356 sq ft) was done there were some issues and it took me 3 months and many phone calls (due to no one returning calls, appointments being cancelled or no one showing up at the appointment time) to get the problem fixed. Ultimately things FINALLY got settled to my satisfaction. I feel this is not a good way to run a business and I will NEVER be back as a customer as well as several people that were considering using them for their carpet/flooring needs.

So disappointed with this company, installation crew was great! I placed and order for carpet and floors. They sent the flood guy on the day carpet was supposed to be installed and with wrong prices on the contact and did it again on the next day. Customer service is rude and not helpful, will never use the company again.
Here's a update to my dispute with Empire Today.
They came out and refused to replace the flooring that was damaged by them taking the flooring protection that was there before they came to install the new flooring.
I have text messages from them saying they would be replacing the flooring on 2/22/22.
So again stay away from empire today.

I am not happy with empire today at all, first they came and said they couldn't do the carpet for some reason then had to wait 4 days for another appointment. When they finally came did the carpet, they ran out of carpet and couldn't do my stairs. Guy said we'll be back never came back or called, 2 days later they called and set up another appointment for my stairs. Have to wait a week for stairs yo get done, I would never use Empire Today and would not recommend it to anyone. Not happy at all.

My 80 year old mother on a fixed income had empire come and estimate new carpet for her bedroom. They came to her home and measured the room. They agreed to move the furniture and install her new carpet for $1050. They required a $600 deposit of which she paid. After missing two install appointments they finally showed up and refused to install the carpet because my mother has a bed platform that raises the mattress. They refuse to install the carpet and they refuse to refund her deposit. If they could not install the carpet the rep who was here in her house should have told her. They didn't care, just one more 80 year old victim.
This company engages third party "affiliate" spammers to send endless spam. I receive dozens of their spam emails per week. I have never requested information from this company nor do I would I ever utilize a company that uses such obnoxious marketing technics.

Service and installation was great. The carpet is not holding up, I had this installed in April of 2016. I had carpet in my lvg area, 3 bedroom and den plus some wood flooring It cost quite a bit.
When I called about a year ago about it not holding up. They informed me the installation was covered by a warranty but not the carpet. My last carpet lasted 15 years and I don't think this will last another year. I can't believe you can pass this quality on to the customer. Empire had a sale and we fell for it. We were installed to have the carpets done on 07/27/21 but still have not been done! We moved everything out like they stated. They called stating no installers. We have been rescheduled twice and still NOTHING.

Not good from beginning to end. Salesman was late and we were rushed to decide what to do.
We did both kitchen and bathroom. Gave the ok to leave the original wall board on and to cover with the new since both were brown but the bathroom floor is gray and were never asked if the mahogany wallboard was to be removed. Thus the gray was put over the brown and does not look good and Empire is not going to do anything. Told us to paint over the brown so it would match?. Not at all satisfied. Installation went ok but took longer than originally stated. Would not recommend Empire. Wish we had gone with a local company in our area.

The flooring had a separation after one month of the installation. I called them to fix, but they are trying to manipulate with the contract.
The material also is bad, Customer service is horrible and they are cheating.
I feel I wasted my money. They are literally the worst I dealt with.

I had my vinyl flooring installed and some of the boards had pitts in them and one had a hole in it. I found the bad pieces the day after install. Took 3 weeks to get an installer to repair it. He refused to repair it and blamed my dog for their shotty work. I even have a warranty on it if I do something to it. Customer service is terrible and management does not call you back.

This Co. Came to install after an unauthorized reschedule. Took our door off the bathroom to install flooring. Finished the job then we were told the door doesn't fit. The floor is to high? Umm excuse me ok so now what. Well we don't fix this? You have to figure out how to shave, sand, cut the door. So they left us without a bathroom door? Wtf called our rep called the empire customer service called corporate they said we cannot do anything to fix we don't do that. The rep came took measurements and said we will install and put everything back as we found it. NOT TRUE LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE. WE HAD ALREADY scheduled another 13 000 job safe to say we cancelled it. Butttt they will not give us our deposit due to their terrible work ethic customer service.
