I have been on six other dating apps over the past year--all as a paying member. I have never had so many unattractive matches sent to me than I have on Elite Singles. Also, the amount of people located in my geographic area was negligible. I am usually considered very pretty or beautiful and am getting a large percentage of matches that are genuinely unattactive (no judgment of unattractive people here, just not appropriately matched.)

I have joined Elite singles twice and whilst I was disappointed the first time, felt I would give it another go. Elite inticed me back with various offers. I have found the whole process disappointing, I am not unattractive ( in fact generally get a compliments and asked out locally but have not met anyone I was interested in). So I decided to give Elite another go, very few men have been sent through this time and those that look more suitable and interesting live too far away. To be honest the selection has been poor. I am leaving Elite and asking for all my details to be removed one registration expires. It's a shame as because of the details requested on registration I had high expectations.

I should have read reviews first. Elite Singles chooses who you get to see and who you don't. You can't just search their site after you pay. Also they never let you know the real specifics of their lifestyle. Like do they smoke, drink etc. They ask these questions but all they tell you afterward is that your match is a 75% match or similar but you don't know what the other 25% is that doesn't match. Total waste of time and money.

I still don't like the site! But, I sent and email asking for a refund and got it. Very thankful. Wish I would've copied the email and phone number for everyone out there. Not so easy to find. But, they are there. Good luck!

I paid $139 for 6 months. I thought I met someone that was worthy so after 2.5 months I deleted my profile. Turns out he was a scammer and asked me to send him money. I filed reports to the FBI computer crime division and the local police. I have been trying to reach EliteSingles to discuss this to see if I could even get 4 more weeks free to contact 2 other gentlemen that were very nice. I get a help desk robot that sends me to an "expert" that will cost me $14.00 a month to deal with. There is no phone number for this site and there is no recourse.
For all the hype is was a pretty horrible experience.

BTW- I saw more people with high school degrees rather than people with educations. At least half the men did not post any photos- which is a red flag.

My advice- STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE. ITS'S JUNK!

Hello everyone, please do not invest in this platform! It is not worth your time and your money!
I joined this platform a little over three months ago, and all I got was very limited views and scams. My profile wasn't visited almost at all in comparison to Match.com, which I just joined. I am 50 and all I was getting were smiles from old guys, most of them from other states! The customer care sucks, everything is running slow, the app isn't working properly. So glad I made the decision to move to Match!

You have to cancel in the app and then wait for a confirmation. I cancelled it twice and they still won't honor my cancellation all I get is customer service asking me for screenshots of my cancellation which I didn't take because it didn't know I had to in order to prove cancellation. I still can't get support to cancel. Note that the link to cancel via the form doesn't work... page not found.

This site was recommended by a friend but have been so dissappointed. The "thorough" personality quiz is so generic that it does not discern any true characteristics and traits one may be looking for in a partner. You can match with anyone in an age range - and I placed a limited mileage for searches but have been getting "likes" and matches from all over the U.S. Although this was my first try on online dating, I can tell when a bogus message is sent. I do not recommend this site.

Nothing but fake profiles. Ignores your preference settings. Difficult to navigate or report/ block the fake and obnoxious. Matches you with members that obviously aren't serious having names like Mister Big, blank or incomplete profiles etc. when you try to cancel you suddenly get all kinds of desirable matches - but turns out it's just a marketing scheme because they're all fake. Awful.

If you don't want to be fighting to get your money back, don't let these fraudsters bait you into buying a membership. They barely have any real accounts, it's all one big scam. There is no use in trying to find sweet and beautiful of ladies on EliteSingles, the name of the site is deceptive and sarcastic. In fact, it's a bad joke. Investing money in one thing, but wasting it is another. Elitesingles are money grubbers. I hope they will be shut down soon.

This site is a scam. It claims to have a "free "membership but you can't see your matches, you can't see the faces of the people they're suggesting, and when you get messages from other members you can't read them unless you pay $200 to "unlock" your messages. There's nothing "elite" about the site. The majority of people are disgusting and trashy, and the second day I was on the site, I received a message from corporate saying there was a scammer profile on their site that contacted me. The app doesn't work, the photos load sideways, the order of your likes and preferences on the profile load upside down. The site is a disaster. Nobody answers from Customer Service. I hope somebody sues them.

Just completed my 6-month subscription. What a WASTE! Most women are profile grazers - look at my profile, sometimes multiple times a day, no comments or hello's. Then there is ghosting... The potential matches I received were 30 to 100+ miles away... I asked for 10 miles radius. Apparently, the algorithms they use don't understand 10 miles. Way too many profiles without pictures. Yes, pictures are the 'outside' and only a start but about 40% of the profiles have no pictures and skimpy profiles. It was very difficult to cancel and delete my profile. Their website points out the simple steps but the steps don't exist on the my Account profile tab. Bumble and Hinge work better for me. The profiles and people are real. BUYER BEWARE...

I'm my opinion many of the fake profiles are generated by the company itself. People with high school educations with careers that clearly require an advanced degree. Crazy heights.
Totally ignore distance preferences even though you have chosen the highest level of importance to it, the same with age. Canceled it.

I saw the TV commercial and thought this site may be different than other online dating sites so I signed up for 3 months on a promotional rate. It's different all right. So far I am very disappointed with the service. I get matches but many live 100 or more miles away from me. What's the point of my telling them what is the distance I am searching for. The few matches I have received are totally not what I want, physically and occupationally. I think many do not have a college degree. I have turned off the auto renewal and my membership should end in 3 months. I hope I won't have trouble with them charging my credit card even though I cancelled the auto renewal. I will monitor my credit card closely.

I am an attractive woman with a lovely figure. The photos I posted were current and not just my face, but full body shots. Most of the photos they sent me as potential dates were extremely unattractive, I mean butt ugly, and some of the photos were of someone's chin or whatever, not pictures that should have passed their so-called "approval!" There were also a lot of scammers who were canceling their subscription and wanted my personal e-mail address because their boss, their friend or whoever was "crushing" on me. Waste of time and money!

Beware! Elite use an autorenewal. They will not remind you when this is coming up and will simply charge you for the full £192.00! Trying to navigate the site to cancel your subscription or stop the autorenewal will send you round and round in circles and when you finally lose patience and find the customer care contact form which is in itself a feat, they do not respond. I've worked with computers for the last 30 years. This website in my personal opinion seems to be designed purely to make it difficult for people to get out of once they're in. They also have a very bad feedback on trustpilot. Wonder why!

After trying out the app for a few days, I found out that this app is nothing like what it described and advertised.

The app says: for single professionals, educated singles and intelligent matchmaking... However, it's not quite true after trying out the app. Lots of men I got introduced to is scary looking, super far away and not educated or professionals.

It is not a good experience knowing that I am paying so much for a service that doesn't do as advertised or not worth the money.
