Check out says items will ship in 3-5 business days. I paid extra for 2 day shipping. That was 16 days ago and my order has still yet to ship.

Smoke Detector Replacement

I searched the internet for a replacement smoke detector. The search showed Electric Bargain Store having them in stock. I'm always leary about a company I've never used. Fortunately they were legit and communicated when my detector would arrive. Great communication and price for my replacement. Thank you I look forward to ordering from them in the future to replace my older units with the newer style.

Ordering the product online was easy and we had no problem with that, however the delivery date was no where near they originally said it would be delivered. No one contacted us to let us know the order would be late however the $2100.00 was taken out of my account immediately. I had to call a few weeks after we ordered to find out why we had not received our order. After calling several numbers to actually talk to a person i was told it was on back order. They could not give me a date on when it would be shipped. After another 10 days the product finally arrived.

Ordered three lights thru this site. Did receive all three lights, all worked upon installation.

The only less than positive remark is I had to call in to determine if the item would be shipped in time.

Will use this site in the future.

Received an email response shortly after saying it was waiting for shipment.

Outrageous Shipping Costs

Purchased a smoke detector for $26.00 & change which was initially a bargain. However, I was charged over $20 for regular ground shipping from Los Angeles to Washington state! Unbelievable! Will find another retailer that ships for less!

Terrible Communication

I placed an order in November of 2022 and still have not received. They notified me in January (after we sent them an email inquiring about the order) that the products ordered would not be available until late March. I understand that it is not their fault on how long it is taking to make the product, but they should have told me up front at the time of order it was going to take 4 months to get and they should be communicating with me about this outstanding order at least once per month. Unfortunately, I cannot so anything positive about this company or the review because there is no communication...none...nada...There is nothing that elevates this company above any other online light store that sells the same or similar products.

Found what I was looking for. I had to wait for it, but that's not EBS's fault - I think it was out of stock.

They were very good at keeping me updated on the status of the order, though. I never worried I wouldn't receive the item once it got back in stock.

Item appeared to be in stock since it's was listed on the website, no where did it state the item wasn't available or had a lead time, it took over a month for this item to arrive. Item was what we needed, it came as described - but the misleading on availability is a 3 star.

Stairway light cover

Took a long time to get.
September 13, 2022

Took a long time for it to be delivered, paid for two days, took 4. Every time I called I got an over flow line and never got to talk to anyone. Tried to get a refund for paying $60 for 2 day and Fedex said the company could get it refunded, told them to do it to pass it on to me, they never called me back. Horrible communication. Only reason to get 3 stars is because we needed the light and they had it.

Recessed can trims

I ordered a few recessed can trims, i believe they were brown or bronze, i paid extra freight to get them quicker. I did not get them quicker, i had to make several calls to track these and NO ONE offered to refund the money i paid to expidite this order. My customer was very upset that i could not give them tracking information.

Attempt at return/exchange

Ordered Halo Recessed E750ICAT 6" 07-04-2023. Realized these were for LED connections and I was after the Halo screw in bulb recessed fixtures. I've been trying to exchange or return these items for 2 months sending 3 separate forms requesting the "return number". Still don't have any response or instructions regarding recessed fixtures I need exchanged or returned.
