Eddi Bauer discriminates against tall guys
Today I try to buy a jacket.
The jacket has 40 % off only for "regular" guys; tall guys have a regular price.
I think is a mistake of eddi bauer or is a discrimination

TRANS ASIAN HATE
We are representing the family who was told the jacket is from 2020. The family has written a sworn statement indicating it was bought in 12/2022. The price has not changed or depreciated in 2 years? They just want a refund. The Asian community center in Colorado advocates for situation within the community in Colorado and all throughout the USA. Treating an Asian Trans woman egregiously in 2023 is unacceptable. We will look at complaints and company policy and practices. We will look at state and federal laws. We will start with the AG and Dora. Make the settlement quick and we will not have to do this in the court of public opinion from Asians all across America. I am Jimmy and I will be the advocate in this case.

I once bought most all my clothes at Eddie Bauer. No more. They seem to be struggling with what they want to be. They have nothing you can't get better versions at other stores.
Bought my husband a pair of joggers for Christmas. Washed once and air dried. Shrunk in length and has pilling. I tried to return them and the clerk said they don't take returns on worn and washed items. Hmmmmm! I guess their policy for satisfaction for their merchandise has been cancelled?!
I ordered two bike shorts which were the wrong size using my Adventure Rewards. I called to find out how to exchange them for the correct size and was told that was not possible. I'd have to return the two pairs and reorder once the Adventure Rewards were reinstated to my account on the next rewards cycle. I returned the shorts. That was almost a year ago. Four calls to customer service (each gave me the same canned response that I would be refunded next cycle) and an email later (no response) I have never received my $65 back. I know that this review will do nothing except make me feel better by venting. And, seeing so many other negative reviews I know that I'm not alone. I have been a faithful Eddie Bauer customer for MANY years. I no longer will be.
Ordered 2 jackets for delivery at a location I was traveling to. Site collected bad information and so did customer service reps. After 5 calls, the order was not received and each call promised everything is resolved.
I bought some clothing for my daughter online, I changed my mind after one hour, I call costumer to cancel it, but after long time asking information, I was told It already processed, can not cancel, never buy from this brand anymore!
I haven't been a Eddie Bauer customer for long. On my first purchase, the items were sent to the wrong address and they were not received by me. I even received a picture from the carrier showing me where they were delivered but it wasn't my home. I realize that it's not EBs fault but after contacting them about this, I didn't hear anything from them for over a week. When I did hear from them, they asked me for information that I had already provided in my email to them (just prolonging the issue). So I ended up finding my items at a distant neighbors and I let that situation go. I liked the lined pants I got so I made a second order. It was delivered in a timely manner, however, the brand new boots I ordered were previously used and ripped apart. If anyone would have opened the box and looked to see if the right item was in there, they would've noticed they are bad boots. They could have and just sent them anyway. Who knows these days when apparently it's hard just to get someone to show up for work. So, now the stats are 2 out of 2. Both negative. With this order I called and spoke with an apologetic foreigner with an American name, reading from a script. They want me to send the boots back and then once they get them they will process my refund. My thoughts for good customer service would be, we will send you out a new pair, and then when I get them, I send the other ones back. I paid for the boots up front so why am I to be without my money and my purchase. This weekend I plan on going to a EB store and getting what I'm owed. My money or a new pair of boots. I would recommend to anyone thinking about buying from EB to look in to other options. I've had great luck with LL Bean. Their products seem to be just as good or better. Plus they us UPS. EB uses FedEx which everyone knows has gone to crap.
I purchased two pairs of lined pants, they were to small, so I ordered next size up, have made 7 phone calls trying to get a return label for the 1st order, right at this time I have been on the phone for one hour and 2 mins and still cannot get return label, DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM unless you are positive about your size, it is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Oh by the way STILL ON HOLD!
Heading to Greece on 10 July, I order some shorts on 3 July paying extra for 2 day delivery. They finally shipped on 5 July. The delivery date is 11 July. This seems like a Bait-and-Switch tactic. I called Customer Service and explained the situation - they were sorry but offered no real help. As the people below state don't trust them.
I have been an Eddie Bauer customer for about 25 years. Since transitioning to online ordering it seems they have lost all sense of customer service and satisfaction. Shipping times are atrocious. I ordered a few items on 5/30/22 and have not received them and it's 6/17/22. When I placed the order I was told I would have my items within 5 - 7 business days, it has been 14 business days. Joke is on me?!
Another issue I have is it seems they have offshored their customer service dept. from Seattle, WA to the Philippines and most support personnel do not speak English fluently.
So, I'm sad to say this is likely my last order with Eddie Bauer.
I have loved EB products over the years, however dealing with their customer service department is a joke. Not to mention they are not professional enough to reflect true stock on their website. I ordered an item and they kept changing the "estimated" shipping dates by days, sometimes a week or more before it would POSSIBLY ship. I contacted customer service and they told me I couldn't cancel my order. I would have to wait for the order to process entirely and then return it at my own shipping expense. I was promised correspondence by a CSR as well as a supervisor, neither of which were fulfilled. I spoke with another CSR today and they informed me I would be called back within the day, but it's not looking too hopeful.
I returned the item two months ago and call them 2x still my money ain't show up.no dispute option neither to bank account or paypal option is thier website to buy more. GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY YOU GREEDY PEOPLE!
Time for Eddie Bauer to sack Michael Egeck and hire a new CEO who actually cares about the company and customer retention. Right now, Eddie Bauer is a joke and offers lower standard than an online scam company.
The Eddie Bauer Website refuses to cancel your order unless you do so within 30 minutes. My reason for doing so is that they did not have the item in stock even though the website indicated it was available. It is on back order and I'll be forced to wait 5 to 6 weeks to return the item. I know of no retail outlet who refuses cancellation before the item has shipped. Disappointing.
To the upper mgt team at Eddie Bauer: I purchased online a ski parka jacket on March 16th. Item is located in Groveport Ohio, which is 5 hours away from Buffalo NY.
Now here it is March 25th, 9 days later AFTER I PLACED MY ORDER and FedEx tracking says:
Thursday, March 24,2022
2:15 PM BUFFALO NY DISTRIBUTION CENTER
In transit
In transit to local Post Office - Allow two to three additional days for delivery
So, I may not receive my jacket for another 2-3 days, possibly not until March 28th. That would mean item took 12 days, to travel a route that is 5 hours by a motorized vehicle.
Why would you ever treat and subject your customer base to such a customer service shipping nightmare?
Why would you ship ANYTHING " FED EX SMARTPOST " AND TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS TO SUCH SHIPPING DELAYS?
WHY WOULD ANYONE BUY ANYTHING FROM YOUR WEBSITE?, AGAIN, JUST REALIZE WHAT I SAID AND LET IT SINK IN; 12 days WAIT PERIOD TO RECEIVE A PACKAGE THAT HAS to travel a route that is 5 hours BY TRUCK, WTF?
YOU OBVIOUSLY HAVE DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMER BASE AND ECOMMERCE AS A BUSINESS STRATEGY. GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR BRICK AND MORTAR RETAIL BUSINESS PLAN AS I WILL NEVER MAKE ANOTHER ONLINE PURCHASE WITH Eddie Bauer!
I have spent 100's of dollars on Eddie Bauer lined ski pants (3 pairs), T shirts (5), flannel shirts, and one T shirt has a defect and they refuse ($29) to give me a refund. I can mail it ($), drive to UPS to mail ($ gas 4,25 gal) and maybe they will make a decision to replace it (or not). What a terrible company. Will never do business with them again and will tell all my friends what a s--- a-- company they are. It is less then a one star company JIm
In November I ordered a winter jacket that looked good in the Eddie Bauer photo on their website. The description also suited my needs. The jacket was on sale so I thought it was an opportunity to buy a jacket that was lighter than my Canada Goose coat for really cold days and would be suitable for milder winter weather. When the jacket arrived I was very disappointed in the poor quality. It was so light and cheaply made that I wanted to return it immediately. I went through proper procedure to return the jacket for a refund. I checked the tracking and noticed the company had received the jacket almost a month ago and still I had not received a refund! It was impossible to speak to anyone in the company's customer service department: I was put in a loop that ended with a statement that because of Covid, employees were working from home. Fortunately for me, I had made my purchase using Paypal. I entered a dispute with Eddie Bauer through Paypal, providing copies of receipts of purchase, return label and Canada Post tracking of the return. Thankfully, I finally received a refund, because of Paypal. I will never but anything from Eddie Bauer again!
I have tried desperately to return a pair of shoes…I made two mistakes…first, believing in their "easy return policy", second thinking their employees know the definition of customer service. Never again will I believe that bull crap.
I ordered a jacket online for CHRISTMAS in November. It still has not arrived and has been "in transit" a week. Customer service was no help and would not offer a refund until after the item arrives. This is why people shop Amazon.
