This company makes mistakes with there part description then it charges you a 12.00 shipping fee which they don't want to return if they sell you the wrong part. If you order a part from this website and it doesn't fit they will charge you a restocking fee and will not give you a full refund BEWARE stay away this company is bad for business.
I bought front and rear sets of coilovers front these scumbags. They lasted 10 months, & I had to replace them because they were bottoming out on the regular! They said I "abused them", but despite my specific request as to how I "abused them" they refused to specify! SLEAZY, MAGGOT, THEIVES! Not only would they not give me a my money back, they wouldn't even give me any type of credit! I'll NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN! FCP Euro, is a much, much better company, & choice!
I receive a broken intercooler after a 1 mouth delay until receive IT.2 mounth if delay for another one or 10%disconte and loosing Lifetime guarantee.Its a joke!
I bought a six piston Brembo kit initially when I bought rotors from you ecs, I was told there would be clearance on the factory 19 inch wheels. Unfortunately that was not accurate and then I asked what else can I do then I was told to buy wheel spacers by multiple ecs employees and I bought $500 worth of wheel Spacers put them on and to my disappointment I still did not have clearance on my factory 19 inch wheels. I asked for a refund since I was now $500 short and after speaking to a manager he absolutely refused. I then asked is it fair that I bought rotors that are supposedly compatible with the six piston Brembo caliper from your website that said nothing that I needed to upgrade to 20 inch wheels and I was told to buy wheel spacers I didn't request to buy them only to find out that I can't even return them. So yes, it is absolutely horrible customer service when you have a company operate like that. And now I'm being punished because of the negligence of an ECS employee and ecs has banned me for any future business because of me complaining and being upset? What an absolute joke but thanks again for the horrible business.
Bought thousands of dollars from ECS Tuning after waiting for an hour John hung up on me for using the f word at the situation not him and I explained that to him before I use the F-word she was really rude and it pissed me off simply all I wanted is for them to fix the problem they didn't load the credits that I paid for haven't been able to drive my car for 5 days
Any vendor can unknowingly sell a defective product. It is how they handle the followup that is in my opinion what counts. So when I got my RMA for my problem parts I explicitly asked about re-stocking fees and was told there would not be any.
GUESS WHAT? And ECS was unable to explain to me where MY money went other than to them. I spent way too much time trying to explain the situation to a CSR who I am afraid was a bit slow and after a slew of emails that got nothing HERE WE ARE!
So they have been around a long time and undoubtedly have many satisfied customers.
Summing up my experience it would have been far easier and cheaper had I gone a Mercedes Dealer and paid retail for the same parts.
You pays your money you takes your chances.
