“Hampton Bay fan module”

I called and spoke to the man and he was familiar with the problem I was having with the fan. I ordered the part and it arrived in a few days. It was the exact proper part needed and now my Fan works fine. Good Service. 5 stars

The owner Mike answered the phone and appartently is the owner. Most miserable disrespectful ugly short tempered hasty human being I have ever spoke to. Rather go buy another fan than support this awful person.

These guys told me a year ago they were waiting on a container to arrive and they couldn't tell what was going to be in it so I'd have to wait to find out if they had what I needed (10 Hunter blades). This went on for 6 months, every time I called. I dropped it for another 6 months and tried again. Now they don't carry blades by dimension any longer and needed a model number. Called back with model number and they said that's not a good number, "call Hunter but they don't sell these blades because they no longer make the cast iron fan". So I searched for another source and found it, got the part numbers, ordered through Hunter, Problem solved. BTW I've found plenty of Hunter cast iron fans for sale on the web.

I called and tried to get some information about ordering a part for my fan. The person who answered the phone was extremely rude. He began the conversation with"can you afford to buy the parts you need"? I have never been treated so rudely by any business! After about five minutes trying to get the information I needed I just hung up. I'm surprised that Home Depot would recommend this place. I will be calling them back to suggest they take this off their list!

If he is the owner - he needs to check his attitude. I called to ask about the cost of an item that was listed on their website (no way to get prices online). It is a VERY long distance call for me so I wanted to be sure I was talking to the right company. When I asked Mike the name of his company he said "You are a SalesMAN". I shouted over him that I was not. He said "Yes you are" and hung up on me.
So very rude.
I will go elsewhere - he has lost my business and referals.
Perhaps he should go out of business (or hire someone who is friendlier)

Mike- Terrible- Asked about blade, gave dimensions and asks for color and then says we only have two kinds and the rest 4 months our. I say this is Hampton Bay Blade. No sir they are all the same they make for everyone. There is no Hampton Bay marked on the blade. I said oh because I want to Home Depot and the holes were too small. He says Oh they recess on the screw hub and I say yes and he says I only have the two kinds and hangs up. This after he took two phone calls when I was on the phone. Nice.

Rudest I have ever been treated by a salesperson. Just trying to buy a replacement glass of Hunter light kit. The guy hung up on me. Unbelievable.

I called about parts for two different ceiling fans. I asked several questions about a Hunter fan and was told he needed the model number or he couldn't help me. I was going to ask him about the second ceiling fan when he hung up! I waited a minute and then called back. I told him I was not finished, he apologized and we continued. This time he was a little more helpful, but you knew you had to "walk on eggshells" or he would cut you off in mid-sentence! He seems to know all about ceiling fans, but nothing about people skills! Sad...

Tip for consumers:
I believe he is one of the only dealers who deals with various fan parts.
He talks fast but is knowledgeable about his business.

They have the part, but absolutely no people skills. Other reviewers are spot on. I can see his point, why tell you what part you need for you to go shop around, but at their prices, who can blame anyone for looking for a better deal.

He can tell you what you need, he just will not and then simply hang up on you! I am serious! In the world today, getting hung up on just for asking a question?

Sorry, but for a $70 brand new ceiling fan do I really want to pay $35 to fix it? So do you blame me for asking him a question and does that warrant getting hung up on?

Had a bad experience. I ordered a replacement remote and they sent me a different remote. Didn't work. They told me send the remote and receiver to them to test. I send my remote and the new remote and receiver. The postmaster helped me box the parts, said he didn't get the remotes. The owner called me a liar! Now I'm out my remote and new remote and receiver and 50.00! Don't buy from eceiling fans they will cheat you. Who calls a customer a liar!

Tip for consumers:
Don't buy from here!!!

http://www.eceilingfans.com
Was the only website online that seemed to have what I was looking for, but mike seemed to get very annoyed very quickly. On my first call with him I was told the price of the item but I didnt order until my second call. He was kind of rude on that call but my phone was messing up so I assumed my bad connection was being irritating to him. I then called back the same day to verify some information about a order number and tracking information and to make sure I ordered the right thing. Mike began to yell as soon as I asked about the temperature rating of the capacitor,( some say 75degrees Celsius, some say 55, and some say 85) because the last thing I want is to buy a capacitor that only lasts a week because it gets too hot. He says that America only uses 120 volts so we dont need to worry about that, but my home is fully electric so it has 220 running to the home. Before I can even ask if I can still use the capacitor I ordered earlier, he asks my name and begins to say that he will cancel the order, because he doesnt want to argue with me. I tell him not to cancel the order, then he replies that the order is cancelled already. I told him to take it easy I just wanted some more information, then he hangs up on me. Im shocked he is still in business. He would save himself and his customers the headache and just have a way to order online.

Thought the guy could fix our remote. Instead he said it was broken and wanted to sell us a new one. We told him to just send our stuff back. All of the sudden he won't take a credit card - only check or cashiers check. If he doesn't receive it in 7 days he'll throw our stuff away!

I sent them a ceiling fan to rebuild. After they received the fan they raised the price. I told them to go ahead. They told me it couldn't be fixed and they said that they threw it away and could not return it. THIS IS A TOTAL RIP-OFF! STAY AWAY!

The man that answers the phone and ask what you need (Mike) is very rude. I was told this company has everything you would need to repair a ceiling fan. Well, the number one thing missing is customer service/professional skills. I would rather go and purchase a new fan then deal with someone this rude.

Guy answering the phone does not like to answer any questions. Basically almost hangs up on you.
