The company has garnered a generally positive reputation, with customers frequently praising the affordability, quality, and timely delivery of their textbooks. Many users appreciate the ease of use of the platform and the availability of digital content, which enhances their overall experience. However, concerns regarding shipping delays and issues with receiving incorrect items have been noted, leading to some frustration among customers. While the rental process is typically smooth, the inconsistency in delivery times and occasional miscommunication about order fulfillment suggest areas for improvement in customer service and logistics.

Easy to find the book; I did question if it was a printed text or digital b/c it was the same price as a digital version at my campus. I got in touch with customer service, which took a little time to get the answer, but the service was still good.
I found the book I needed, decent price. Paid for expedited shipping to get here in time for my class to start and it still took over a week to arrive. Waste of money for that... I had to buy a second subscription to an e-book to get me thought the first week of class. I ordered the first moment the info was available to order the correct text. I called to cancel my order as I did not need two of the same book and you were unable to help in any way. Very disappointing.
Thank you for the fast service and reasonably priced product.
Good, decided to drop the class so have to return it now. I am not too happy that I cannot get the full amount back
Easy and quick transaction and delivery.
Timely updates from ecampus
Process was easy. Received my textbook in a week. Will use service again.
Delivery was fast and the order process was easy. The book arrived secured in the box. The book is in perfect condition.
I started renting my school books through here last year and love the price and how fast shipping is. They always arrive right on time and I pay a third of the price I would through my school.
I was looking for a new copy of a book from a certification class I had taken several years ago as my original copy was lost in a move. Found the book at a great price brand new for almost half of what it was on many other sites. Shipping was reasonable and I got the book in perfect condition.
I should have listened to other reviews. Do not sell your books here! They are scammers. Horrible experience. IT IS A WASTE OF TIME!
So i sent them my book and they received it saying the ISBN does not match. Ha since i took pictures of the book before sending out. I know that they might scanned the wrong barcode that was put on by another company. So I contacted them, but now they say oh its is the right ISBN but this is an instructor's copy. RIDICULOUS! Same ISBN but instructior' copy? Can you come up with a better reason? If you do not need the book, just say we do not need it right now and don't accept in the first place. Now they are sending the book back to me. Hopefully I do not receive the "instructor's copy," I got from my school's bookstore. Why do i get the instructor's version? And why do I even want to get the instructor's copy?
Sold a book that was a looseleaf text in a binder. It was the exact ISBN of the hardcover text, they made no distinction on the site when I was selling. I wasn't mad that they cancelled the order since they only wanted the hardcover text (was annoyed when customer service insinuated purposefully sent a different ISBN claiming it was the hardcover, but not a big deal). I was also happy they agreed to waive the $10 fee to have my book shipped back to me (because having me pay to get something you reject back would be absurd). The reason I'm giving a one star review is that they sent the text back... BUT STOLE THE BINDER. They literally removed the loose-leaf pages from the binder, put a flimsy rubber band around them, and shipped it back to me. That's ridiculous. Such a waste of time, and now I have a whole stack of loose-leaf pages without their binder.
I sent 5 DSM-V manuals to eCampus only to have them ransomed for a $10 return fee--because the edition I sent them was MORE VALUABLE than the one listed by ISBN. They have refused to compensate me even for the lesser value I sent them for. This is all after over a month of waiting, plus several encounters with their stonewalling customer service reps. Could not recommend their services less; please sell locally.
They are horrible. Don't order from them. They are a waste of time. I ordered a book two weeks ago, and it still haven't came in. And they refused to give me a refund.
My school put me in wrong class so I ordered wrong software and used it for two days before school realized I was in wrong class. They would not refund me 95.00. Now this may not seem like a lot to them. It's a lot for me. I'm unemployed trying to make the best of this COVID situation and this people just screw me. Bad company. I'm gonna blast them all over the internet
We paid for books to be shipped over-night. Twelve days later they still have not arrived. Person at Customer Service was helpful - saying only that it takes 10 business days to ship. They are in Lexington, Ky. WE are in Dayton, Ohio, a 3 hour car drive away. I would have driven down to pick them up if given the option.
I mailed my return in advance of my due date but still got charged nearly $200. When I contacted support they said they couldn't refund me that charge because my package didn't have any tracking information. They couldn't track it because they didn't pay for tracking on the shipping label they sent me. Customer service is completely unhelpful and will tell you the same thing over and over. Please listen to the reviews on here, I know the textbooks look cheap, but it'll cost you more in the long run.
Got a cancelation email saying "Our security team reviews every order placed on our site in an effort to protect our customers. Orders are then canceled if certain criteria (including the billing address information) appears irregular. This does not mean we feel you are attempting to perpetrate fraud or that your customer information was stolen. We are only erring on the side of caution to protect our company's most important asset, our customers."
Then they added - "This item "Civil War Volumes 1-3 Box Set" is out of stock with the publisher"
I don't believe them - there is nothing wrong with my payments... So, they are selling OOS books...
I wouldn't recommend buying from them
I sent in a book in June and waited over 5 months to receive payment and talked to many people. They "never received" my book.
I was very pleased with this company. They quoted a price on a book, paid for the shipping, and sent me the money by paypal. No misrepresentations, no drama. I recently sold books to booksrun, who quoted a price and then cut it by 75%, and if you want out of the deal, they want 8 or 9 bucks to ship each book back to you. Instead of taking the higher quote at booksrun, just use ecampus, because you will get more money and less frustration in the long run.
If I could give this website 0 stars I would! I sold them a textbook only to be told MONTHS later that is was not going to be accepted for absolutely NO LEGITIMATE REASON and that I would not be receiving payment and that if I wanted MY book back I need to pay $10 to have it shipped back to me. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!
Answer: You can write or highlight in book as long as it less than 1/3 of the page/book.
Answer: Unfortunately, the ebook version of this bundle does not include the access code. Access codes are one-time use only, and are only provided with New versions.
Answer: Ecampus.com does not honor their payout times. I've been waiting 8 weeks now and still have not received payment. They also do not honor the method of payment you choose. I chose direct deposit to ensure fast delivery of the payment. They instead have decided to mail me a check, which I still have not received. Do not sell your used textbooks to ecampus.com if you actually want to receive reimbursement for them.
