What has happened toi this site? It used to be a staple but now it's just anothjer LW mouthpiece like all the rest. Hope the 30 pieces of silver were worth it.
Drudge for well over a decade used to be a great one stop shop for the days news headlines, and I used to stop by the site a few times a day as it was a lot easier than traversing the web for the latest headlines when time was short and I was busy.
The past few months however, the site has really turned into basically a never-trump version of the national inquirer. Quite sad really. Oh well, at least we all know in brilliant colours which way Matt Drudge now swings. He never should have sold out this way. It's almost as bad as the recent pandering to China everybody is doing. Or worse, how everyone is follow the NWO and UN agendas for pronouns, climate change, and many other rather insane programs. Oh well, there are a number of other choices out there nowadays thankfully, and that's where I'll be getting my news from for now on.
Drudge creates a story with headlines. IMHO, the website is there to create a sense of Doom for us regular people - to prepare our minds to accept violence and WWIII. Drudge, why not come and tell everyone what's going on in the world for real? I know the truth behind the secrecy, so does he. He needs to expose the controllers and since he won't, he's likely one of them. Unfortunately, Drudge, with all its doom, is still the best aggregate news site and gets 4 stupid stars.
Drudge is great, though I wish it was kept up during the weekend. It is simply put together, which some people find annoying. These are usually the people who are more into "flash" than substance (much the reason we have the government we have over the last 20 years or so). Drudge's point is to have a central location for people to venture for news, whether that is the "Flashy" type of news or meaningful news isn't relevant.
I remember hearing Glenn Beck a few years ago call Matt Drudge a scumbag. Turns out he was absolutely right. He has shown his true liberal colors and after 20 years and 1000's of clicks am done with Drudge.
I have floated away from Drudge. But I thank him for all he did and for his contributions to others sites. I have no issues with him. It's more of a case that I frequent certain sites and places he ignores and I mainly use links on Free Republic.

Matt Drudge uses a lot more mainstream links than Doug Ross.
Drudge's site also uses CNN more than Fox News. I like Fox Nation and he rarely uses links that Fox Nation links to like The Washington Examiner or New York Daily News.
I hate to say it but Drudge is both too mainstream and also too much of a fan of Alex Jones.
Cyber 1 News and Lucianne are better alternatives.
He also never uses Global Post, Newsmax World and Times of Israel as links.
Today instead of Accuweather he could have used Mexico News Daily for the Mexican Hurricane link.
I basically go to these sites first to read news:

2. Newsmax - For more Conservative News
3. USA Today/ Yahoo News - For non political news to set me on my way. A catch all.
4. Freedom Outpost/ D. C. Clothesline/ Down Trend - My favorite sites
5. Free Republic - Too see what is being talked about and more news.
6. The Blaze/ World Net Daily/ Washington Times - For more news
7. Sky News/ BBC News/ Newsmax World/ Global Post for international news.
8. Breitbart/ Right Scoop/ Conservative Tree House -- for their reporting.
9. Live Science for science news. I ignore anything dealing with climate.

He is basically not conservative enough but also likes Alex Jones which I never understood. Drudge Report is not a primary source for me. A secondary source just to see what he is up to. If he left I wouldn't shed a tear.
Matt Drudge's drudge report news portal has not changed it's look since it came out in 1997. The most consistent website I've ever seen. It is simple, user friendly and doesn't cause migraines. I personally use this site as my go-to for all aspects of world news be it mainstream or alternative. I guess it's true what they say, if it ain't broke don't fix it.
Matt Drudge does news right! I really like going to the Drudge Report, it has really important issues and even some off-beat stories. It is VERY right wing politically. They hate Obama and everyone who isn't drinking JD while shooting guns and reading the Bible. Definitely plays to the Conservative Christian audience as well. My only knock is that he doesn't balance out his coverage, but his flashbacks are priceless for catching people in their lies.
I've tuned into DRUDGE since it's beginning days. No more. I consider it to be the national enquire of politics and can no longer take it seriously. I feel it is no longer news worthy and more divisive than ever. If one reads Drudge you would think the world has come to an end. Today's headline: IT's WAR! (Iran), seriously?
Loved the site before all the crazy ads came into play. I cant even close these ads, this is from yesterday July 26th! How can there be NO option to close these? Why do they post these stories links if they contain this crap?
Great site but slanted waaaay right. I love how quickly Drudge gets the news out. I also like the no frills site. There are always good articles about stories that are often overlooked by other news sources. However, you must take some of the headlines with a grain of salt due to the conservative bias.
I used to use the Drudge Report for Many Many years now. But! Disgusting! Drudge used to report news. No more, the last few months all he's doing is promoting the Liberal agenda, All see it Matt! He became a Liberal puppet... its time for a new real news source... I hope we can still find one.

This guy isn't worth the air he breathes, built his website as a bold, new, conservative format. Then after padding his wallet decides to attack the people that built his site. Will die a slow death, hope is it goes really sloooooow and really painful.
I have been a fan of the Drudge Report for years. Yet over the last year have been increasingly alarmed and deeply disappointed on how political it has become. It has shifted far left. I just cancelled it off me phone. Good riddance. Signed up with Dan Bogino.

Today, it seems to be not much more than a consolidator for all of the never-Trump stories and any AI stories. Too bad.

There seems to be a trend and it's easy to spot. Drudge used to be good until Clinton's wanted to shut them down and it seems like somebody did, and they are under new ownership posting the most obvious fake stories.

I dunno what happened to Matt Drudge but it is clear to everyone that he has sold out.
Use to love the site, but the doom and gloom on 50 to 60 percent of the articles is not the way to start the day. And every site has tons of pop ups. My anti virus is always blocking me from some of them and have it set to medium control. I would love to see his net worth. Made a fortune on just having a link to various sites.
This news aggregation blog is must read. This site which ISN'T biased towards right-wing sites (if I remember right, their most linked site was Yahoo! News, which isn't right-wing at all) gives you what is the most important news of the day. My only complaint about the site is that they use a lot of mainstream news sources but few alternative news sources.
