What a marketing scam. Doxo"s payment service pays Google to put their listing ahead of the actual company you need to pay, so when you click on them they will actually pay your bill for you but charge another $10 processing. From my medical provider IVX Health I typed off their statement to pay online at "ivxhealth.com/patientpay" Google listed two links, the first was for DOXO which I clicked on ignoring the "sponsored link" and started to fill out the info, partly I thought I had been payed up and IVX was using a billing service, but couldn't find anything on my account, so entered the amount on the paper bill and my debit card, but noticed an almost $10 processing fee in the details which I hadn't noticed on previous bills. I cancelled out of it and then realized that I missed the direct IVX link under the sponsored link. This is a kind of payment con "of let me pay your bill for you" but Google knowns about and shouldn't allow. I will complain to IVX, maybe they will drop a hammer on DOXO. Actually when I got to actual IVX site, I didn't owe anything.

WATCH OUT FOR THESE CROOKS! I was paying my insurance bill online on my insurance companys site just as I always do. I was obviously redirected to Doxo. I did not know I was redirected as I specifically went to my insurance companys website as always. I have never heard of Doxo and thought that my insurance must have a new payment page and system as I had to type in my email address and confirm the email they sent for what I now know was setting up the doxo account. I thought they were updating my info in their new system. I had no idea this was a third party. If they are a reputable company then why dont they stick to traditional ways to solicit business rather than showing up as a pop up that no one would think that is not who they intended on paying. I have since contacted my insurance company and they have no affiliation with Doxo and furthermore you can pay online throught their website for free as you do not need a third party. Why would I use a third party when I dont have to? I called doxo to request a refund. They denied saying they already made the payment. I asked why dont you stick to making money off of people that intend on using you and refund the ones that you tricked into using you that did not intentionally use you. They said the fee was documented in the payment. That may be so but I did not look at the payment that well because I expected it to charge me exactly what I put in the payment. Again I thought I was on my insurance website and I had no reason to look to see if they might charge me differently. My bill was $2342. 00 and they charged a fee of $82.25 so my total was $2424. 25. I never looked at it again until I saw the charge on my credit card statement and It did not match my bill. I am pretty smart when it comes to the shysters and thieves but doxo got by me. WATCH OUT FOR THIS CROCKED COMPANY!

They said we have no right over our business listing and that it is our responsibility to verify that every payment from them is from a legitimate source. Your payment probably was sent someone else. Based on their attitude, I would caution against using this service.
