I have a single post sharing my intent on this site, with snippets of my past. It's factual without hype and the responses are from individuals that read and see that it rings true. I'm primal and realize females are purposefully thinking of what they want and spice things up enough to attract. Men are visual and want to read if no image is available for something that spikes the desire to follow up. I'm from the day when hot pants and Afro Puffs were En Vogue. Females were not offended by a well intended touch was accepted instead of wanting to file charges or calling it inappropriate. Complements were expected. My replies are honest without apologies due to the respect behind each individual being replied to.
Not enough real ads more spam and bs ads would be nice if they would check the ada them selfs or even delete the ones that get reported lol
Sometimes they disallow pictures even though the picture doesn't break their rules.
Go figure.but it's a cool place to meet really nice people. The site works well too. Ton of fun here. I'd rate it A+..
So far, it has been easy to explore the website.
Very explanatory.
No means No! And I like that spoken factor.
Appears to be easier to arrange a meet up, but I haven't evoked but maybe 20 minutes now... so with that being said, more is to cum...
Sadly doublelist has gotten stale and complacent with what's allowed but it's free after all so don't take each post at face value. The real people are getting harder and harder to spot or find but we are out there.
Craigslist was a haven for the closeted. Unfortunately some bad people did some bad $#*! and shut down what was hands down the best way to discreetly sick $#*! or get your $#*! sucked.but so far this site has been pretty good
Work and be happy in life nobody really cares about you
A lot of fantasy seekers that never intend to follow through. Need more cities big problem is people are so spread out, too far away. Than there's the picture collector's, and the phone number harvesting. Also doublelist.com screening your messages, telling you how to respond. But all in all a good replacement for Craig's list.
I've posted and answered posts on DL and have made several connections. But, there are too many game players on here who don't follow through on messages or meets. I wish they could be restricted from using this site.
Overall very clear cut concise user interface with many fun useful and informative bits within the website...if used smartly and appropriately you can find what u are seeking... still better versions to come too!
I have found this site a bit friendlier when it comes to bringing ages together and race. It amazes me how we hide the real interesting connections people can make when one steps outside there socialized zoning.
Ads are to the point, without vulgarity, or crude presentation; taste and tact managed well. Naturally by very nature of the site, desire for sexual pleasure is expressed. Nice to see it presented in disciplined manner. Good job!
Wasted time so far... a lot of old and fake ads.
I am here looking for some fun in my spare time.
If you want a good natured guy who loves life and the adventures that come with it...then send an email.
I've been on doublelist for well over 6-7 years. I didn't realize I have met so many people and had many "real" hookups. Only complaint, it would be great if more people in my area would post so I'm not traveling as far to meet up. Other than that, I can't complain since I am getting plenty of action from a wide arrange of different juicy $#*!'.
High marks, top notch! Fills a void that badly needed to be filled. I only have two suggestions;
1) Time stamp user's posts, and
2) When a user creates a post, offer some guidance other than "get more visibility by attaching a photo." For example instead of the location just saying "Cincinnati," it should include what part of town, or neighborhood. Also, clearly call out if the poster can host or not. Just those two examples would eliminate getting two or more email exchanges in before finding out it can't work out.
Keep up the good work!
Pretty sure this site is run by ultra conservative Christians looking to throw a wrench into any "immoral" behavior. All my ads get flagged no matter how vanilla the language. No replies get sent, that I can tell.
I would go as far to say it's completely illegitimate.
I made an account and can't get an ad approved. There's nothing against the standards in them. One has been under review for 12 hours. It's like the bots can't find a reason to flag it so they just won't approve it. Site is full of scammers too.
I didn't know anything about this website until a buddy of mine told me about it and I'm so glad that he did! It's easy to set up and even easier to search for whatever you're interested in. I like how private, discreet everything is without all the drama.
They are no better than Craig's list. If someone doesn't like what you post, then they flag your ad. There is no recourse either. I've been flagged multiple times. Each time it's because I have rejected someone who has had none of the same interests as me.
Today some guy demanded I send him pictures. When I refused he became threatening and calling me names. Soon as I would block him he found a way through the block. Shortly after I finally blocked him for good, I was notified my personal ad had been flagged.
I emailed them about the behavior and it fell on deaf ears. You will have better luck with the bars if that's your thing. Double list is a garbage troll infested site just like Craigslist and Grindr have become now.
There's nowhere decent gays can go anywhere now to meet others.
Answer: It's on hold forever. Just forget about it. There is no need trying to contact customer service. There are better sites like http://joy4love.com If you are looking for hot girls - works like charm. DoubleList has always been worthless anyway. I only met just a bunch of scammers there.
Answer: Now that doublelist.com is forcing payments there will be more free sites popping up soon!
Answer: It's now 100% official, when you asked this question it was in a test phase & someone made an error of letting it go live. As of this reply you must pay a monthly fee
