Pretty sure this site is run by ultra conservative Christians looking to throw a wrench into any "immoral" behavior. All my ads get flagged no matter how vanilla the language. No replies get sent, that I can tell.
I would go as far to say it's completely illegitimate.

I didn't know anything about this website until a buddy of mine told me about it and I'm so glad that he did! It's easy to set up and even easier to search for whatever you're interested in. I like how private, discreet everything is without all the drama.

If your on the fence about posting an ad, have no fear this is a wonderfully friendly bunch, and best of all its free! Highly recommend for ladies especially, very safe and friendly has been my experience over past several years

Was an active member on CL before it went down. Was so glad when I found doublelist a few months ago. Hooked up with 2 guys already in the last week. I'm a 38 gay male and g always enjoyed the simplicity of the ad based model. Makes meeting people so much more effective. They're supposed to be coming out with some updates and new sections soon so definitely looking forward to that. Keep up the good work DL!

Easy to find whatever you seek. Just follow the guidelines... Very struck and will pick up on words that fir done reason are not allowed. But I give it 5 stars because it's growing daily and people are hooking u. P

I like this site even though it's mostly all picture collectors & fake postings. Once in a while you can actually find someone wanting to meet up with you and spend time together doing what like minded person's do.

Thank God for your great service. After Craigslist went away we were lost and lonely. You came too the rescue. True there are other sites but you're the longest i have been with. Since the passing of my wife i prefer texting here rather than the bar scene. Thanks again. FAB. Kiss

Serious arbitrary ad rejections based on certain words and phrases. Same ads pass then are rejected... which means they haven't got a clue what they are doing. It is an adult site! So "hole" and "hookup" will not shock anybody. Wont even go into the picture policy. Opportunity for someone to really replace CL personals

I've had all positive exp with DL. Met several like-minded peeps and now they're new friends. Thank you DL crew. Very well put together. And the nes categories are awesome I mean whenever I can get that fat down to read em...

I've met quite a few people through DL but it would be better if the ads were updated in real time since old ads appear as new. Hopefully they will continue to improve the site and experience for all that use this service.

People who post, don't respond. Your system doesn't always get emails to recipients. Way too many old,old posts. Some are from 5 years ago, same old posts. And do women even know this site exists? I think men just post as women.

Have traded notes with many from here and met up with 3...1 has worked out especially well. Yes, a bit of odd behavior from some, but mostly real people stating clearly what they are looking for...makes it easy to find potential matches, get started communicating with them

My experience like there's only one. Seems I live in a area flush with lonely fat women and wife's that don't give head. At two yrs on here I have several regulars
(male&female) and only takes hour or two to find a new playmate. I'm guessing I've had over a hundred hookups from DL. Been kicked off once but that's ok. So for a pervert like me your perfect.

I haven't gotten serious on here enough to hook up yet. But this is a nice replacement for craigslist classified. It's mostly guys 4 female/male/couples right now, but I'm sure when word spreads it will be a hit.

Good place to make new friends. People I have met here have turned into playmates that we enjoy sharing our mutual interests and pleasures.
Wish there were more couples for senior guys, but I cannot fix that, so it is still wonderful when it happens.
