The service started well, but the results soon started to fall, when we moved to DotSquare we had strong SEO results, sadly the results got much worse, we spend nearly 18 months trying to work with them, in the end the traffic dropped to just 25% of what it was at the start of the relationship. An independent party found that website work that was carried was impacting our traffic, so we not only has paid for the work to be done, we have paid for SEO that could not have worked.

Overall Feedback - DotSquare took no responsibility at all for the issues they caused, or the terrible SEO services they provided. Our website traffic dropped 75% whilst in their care. Fundamental mistakes were made, and then they want to charge you again to look at the issues - terrible service and custom care. If you plan to use them, dont!

I was impressed with the Dotsquares ability, right from the initial technical discussion about our idea for website www.igratu.com and the iGRATU App, both are now in IOS and Android stores, the PM Neeru was excellent and continues to support where she can, great advice and abilities. We are a wholesaler of window furnishings. We contacted Dotsquares to extend the functionality of an existing customised wordpress application used for quotation and ordering using PHP and Java Script. The core functional enhancement was to add another "retail" mode of operation to the existing "wholesale" mode - basically tripling the programming complexity of the site whilst keeping it simple and intuitive for end users.

Dotsquares provided advise as to how the detailed functional requirements could be achieved and then set up a change management structure (local PC development linked to a Dev website liked to a test website linked to the Production website, all integrated using GIT hosted on BitBucket) as well as actually coding the changes and then providing issue fixes as required.

We value Dotsquares, about the ease of working with the team. Communication was facilitated using Skype and the team was readily available at times that suited my schedule. The quality of the work delivered was good and their responsiveness was excellent.

We are an Association for pet sitters and dog walkers, has 800 members who use our online database system to store their clients details and make bookings etc.

Dotsquares have developed a website with integrated database system for our members to use for their business management, the project was to develop an app

For iphones/ipad and androids so that our members can run their business on the go, the app needed to interact with the existing software so that both pc and app would update with new content etc.

Dotsquares have designed and developed both apps, the work was on time and there were very few bugs in the system, it is working perfectly and our members are very happy with it.

They are very efficient and are experts in their field, the thing i value most is that nothing seems to be a problem for them even when I can't get my head around exactly what i am trying to do they understand and give me back exactly what i was after, providing you give them a clear spec of works needed these guys can do almost anything.

I was hoping that dot-squares could support a legacy flash/flex application and overall it was bad experience.

Quality - Poor. Deliverables missed the mark and contained errors and omissions. For example, a task was to join video files together. Perhaps it was my error for not specifying, but I wanted them joined in chronological sequence. It was delivered badly out of order.

Communication / Comprehension - Poor. I organized the discovery session and walked through the code base and provided demonstrations with the their team. I outlined what I wanted and suggested implementation methods. Most of my suggestions were ignored and there was constant back and forth clarification. Also, since I'm in the US, communications were delayed 12+ hours.

Timeliness - Partly due to the time difference and communication issues, but none of the estimates were even close.

Project Management - Poor. The tools they used were not user friendly and were lacking features (http://www.projectstatus.co.uk/). Project management was lacking support, sense of urgency and comprehension. Also, due to the time differences, they didn't want to communicate verbally which was disappointing.

Price - inexpensive bucket of hours system, but unfortunately you get what you pay for.

In summary, maybe it was because of their lack of experience with flash/flex and AWS, but I would look elsewhere. Luckily this was a small test project, I ultimately had an internal resource successfully implement my suggestions. So only time and little money lost.
