DotBlock is simply amazing. Their support rocks, they are ever helpful, and since I became a customer (2 years or so) they've so many times gone way beyond of what you'd expect from a "normal customer support". Also their uptimes are the best I ever experienced. I literally only have downtimes when I messed up something on my server myself. ***HIGHLY RECOMMENDED***

BEWARE! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. My experience…App said phone was 250 miles away.It was found by a stranger ( on a footpath) just 3 miles away from us -20 mins later! Logistically there was no possibility that this app is even remotely accurate. Have emailed twice, asking for my £10 to be refunded, giving full information. NO REPLY to emails and NO REFUND. In an already really frustrating situation of losing your phone, you do not need the additional frustration of being told useless information and being conned out of £10.00.

I've been using DotBlock on and off for a year or so. I've had many dealings with customer support. It is by far the most enjoyable customer service experience I've had. I do have a few complaints, like unexplained down-time, frequent pings in excess of 500ms, and paying $15 for a windows license. However, having said that, every other company I've looked at provides similar services for within $5-10 of the price I'm paying, and the other companies I've tried, were literally such horrible customer service experiences, that I gladly pay the $5-10 extra.

DotBlock has exceeded my expectations 100%. I have never had a problem that was not resolved quickly and completely. There is always a quick response to any ticket I submit. The staff are respectful and very professional. This is a company that does what they say. No BS No Excuses. They just take care of business but treat you as if you were the most important customer they have.

If I could give them 6 stars I would. Thank you to the support staff who executed our server restore in a prompt and professional manner. When we thought all was lost, they were right on top of things. And the service was included in the monthly server costs. Amazing.

I used dot blocker twice for a fee of ten dollars each time and the location they gave me was not even close. I think for ten dollars for one track location they should be able to give you a half assed track of where the phone is located. Very disappointed and feel that I was totally ripped off. If there was any rating lower than one star they would have got that. Oct 2021 don't use this scam site.

We were having an issue while using mail sending using SMTP from the server. We were having google apps business account for the SMTP mailer and the mails were not going out of the server. We contacted Dotblock Support team and Mr Don was so helpful that he analysed the issues and compared with another doctblock server of ours and found the issue and sorted out. The support team was so patient to spend enough time to understand things and get sorted this on high priority. I recommend dotblock.

I'd give this no stars if I could. Tried to locate my partners phone on this app. I paid to locate it and it found it but the location was totally way off as I then received a call within 2 minutes of me doing this to say it had been found and it was over 20 miles away from the location they had said. It's just another scam so keep well away

I paid the fee for this service and thought I'd trial it on my own phone first to test it's accuracy; it didn't even pinpoint the correct county. I immediately contacted the website to ask for a refund and still haven't heard from them or received any refund. Avoid at all costs.

I have used dotblock for about 5 years now... why? Because of the pricing and what I thought was services for the price I paid... it isn't the case though... you truly get what you pay for... or don't get what you don't pay for!

Today, was the final straw. It is 10/09/2019@ 11am ET... I tried to go online to access my account to insure that it would NOT auto-renew... I wanted to remove my credit card. But, I was unable to do this... I could not connect, and their webpage simply showed me an Ooops... page... I tried several times.

Finally, frustrated yet again, I called up. I explained to the woman who answered that I wanted to insure that my account would not auto renew. "I'm sorry, that can only be performed by the client, online, by removing your credit card information". Okay... but I tried doing that... but couldn't log in...

"Yes, I know... unfortunately, our billing site is undergoing maintenance right now..." In the middle of the day? On Wednesday? "Well, we are a global company... so there is never a good time to perform this..." Yes... I know... I am a DevOps/SRE/SysAdmin for a global company... but there are some times that are better than others to do maintenance on your 'global' servers... (like Saturday night... very late... into Sunday morning...) "well... you can't login right now..."

So, by example... this is how we end our, at best... mediocre relationship... but, why was I canceling? (aside from cost, level of customer service, availability, security...? Isn't that enough?)

Dotblock provides you with a management console so you can administer your own servers... good... but once, I tried to log in to my server... because it was unresponsive... and guess what? IT WAS UNRESPONSIVE! So, I opened up a ticket with them to reboot the one server... they rebooted it and it eventually came back online... trying to do some root cause analysis and a post mortem... blameless, of course... I came to understand that they disabled this feature... because... apparently... if you don't pay your bill on time (does not apply to me) they will simply disable/turn off your server... okay... but why can't I log into my server remotely? They disabled the feature so that if there ever was a late payment, or no payment, they could insure that the server and my data would still persist (I don't know... and don't really understand this at. All.) But, I explained that I want the ability to access my console remotely... so, after telling them that I understand the risks... (that my server can be turned off for non-payment) they again gave me access to my console...

EXCEPT... at least once a year... this goes away... AND my server or two... goes off line and I am unable to connect to the console remotely... AND... I have to call and ask them to reboot the server for me and to explain again why I am still unable... when I need it most, to not access my console... pfffftttt... that's why I was canceling my service...

Oh, and one more example... the first time I asked them to reboot the server... I don't recall the entire conversation... but they asked me to confirm that my console password was whatever it was... um... it's not encrypted and secure (apparently not... if they were telling me what it was...)

Very unprofessional... if you just want to play in an environment and you do not have real business requirements... okay, maybe... but other than that... don't waste your time. And don't ask me about subnetting the network. That is another rant...

Im quite happy with dotblock. Actually the best indicator is, that i'm a customer, means i inform myself about any kinds of service before i use them.
The only thing i really dislike, is that you can't expand the diskspace only, depending on your needs.
