I bought an unlimited hosting about 10 days ago.
Uploaded my site (which is working perfectly elsewhere).
Got a 500 error all the time.
Contact support Via a ticket.
Got a stupid reply that the domain is not setup correctly and that I should delete it and do it again.
Did it and guess what, same problem. Since Ive uploaded another site for the sake of checking... they told me that the "requested url is not available"...
They didn't even check the file structure...
After about 2 days I've had enough and I asked to cancel my account and get a refund.
I bought a hosting plan elsewhere and everything is fine.
I've opened another ticket by their request to the billing department on 02/04/2012 - still got no response from them.
Every time I talk to the Online Chat guys, I get the annoying answer of: "You will be updated Via ticket"...
They are by far, the worst company I have ever known!

Is it the server service that I have been paying for for a long time? They ended my service by saying that if I don't take my backups and delete the files by the date they set on the pretext of taking up too much space, they will end my service. Then, when I asked the reason, they thought that I was using the site for storage purposes, so I had to delete it because there was too much data, etc. they wrote. They stopped my service even though I said that I bought the current service without paying the price and that I could use the content however I wanted. Then I asked why I had just paid for the service and why they did not give this information before renewing the service.
They did not give any answer. Since you are terminating my service, refund my payment and then I wrote them to terminate it.
In this way, after a few messages, they said in their last message that the refund will take place in 7-10 days, but more than 30 days have passed and still no refund has come. After 10 days or even 10 working days they said, they do not respond to any of my messages on the subject and still the refund they promised has not come to my account.

If you buy from this company, you may be a victim.

This is very bad hosting.
This was written me:

"We apologies for inconvenience caused to you.

We have faced server hard-drive failure and server is in restoration process due to hardware failure now.

We have checked the issue with our upstream provider and they are in the process of data restoration on new drive with new OS installation.
There is no exact ETA for it to complete restoration process. Please do not care of your data, your data is safe on server.
We request you to co-operate in this hard time and check the site along with account services within next few hours."

This was written after 1 week:
"We truly apologies for inconvenience caused to you.

We have restored the backups which you are seeing on the mentioned sites but it seems it is corrupted and also few tables are missing. So, we will suggest you to upload database under your account in. Sql format. So, we will restore it for you."

Not resolved the problem.

Hi i have bought linux hosting plan on 25th july without seeing the reviews and after setup my account; system went down; i not even used for 1 day... i have created ticket on same day to cancel service and refund amount... everyday i'm following up but no response till now

I hosted my first website for 8 months at them(shared hosting plan), and until I wasn't about to host my second website too, everything worked merely ok, with some fatal server memory, and connection issues, yet it passed hopefully... But when I started to host my second domain too, all had become from bad to worse and worst! Registration of domain at them works awesomely awful and slow, continuing with the connection issues that got just unbelievably irritating and bothering. After some attempts of using their live chat support, I'd rennounced, they always telling me "submit a support ticket"... So in a period of 6 months I filed a total of 15 tickets, with no resolving really by their part(I'd resolved all by myself, how I could)... I'd argued with my ISP too because of them...
Ok, finally when I thought all came in place hardly, I received the final "hit package" that lasted till the end of me there! With their hosting server htaccess and awesome bad security included on those other experiences of mine listed above!
And when I reviewed the testimonials of their other customers too, I was just sadly amazed wondering how can it be? They're all very right and every review described me a "bit" lot!
So take care with the hosting decisions you choose! I chose them sincerelly after finding them on search engine, because of their unlimited space hosting and unlimited domains that came in relation with their yearly price, but I'VE LEARNT MY LESSON DEFINITELY in 14 months with them! They're technically simply down!

I have been with a few different hosting companies. Once I found dollar2host.com(almost 2 years ago now) I have never seen a reason to move. Support is great, and they are constantly offering excellent services to keep at the top of the market.
You can sign up for the least plan which includes unlimited email, unlimited mysql databases, cpanel and much more. Any problems I've had have been responded to within 10 minutes of the time I enter the ticket. Give them a try, I think you will be happy with dollar2host.com.

More than a great Hosting Company, bad reviews are equal to jealousy of the competition, nothing else. The competition can't follow such a low prices and a high quality in the same time. That's why this bad reviews exist.

I'm amazed by the high quality and fast services Dollar2Host Agents provided to me.

All the support Agents are excellent and helped me many times, with many issues and this is the right time to thank all of them, along with the Agents from other departments of Dollar2Host.

The hosting is great, I'm very satisfied lately.

I don't wan't to diminish a work of any agent of this company, because I'm grateful to all of them, but this time I wanna send a special thank to support Agent Jason, who saved me from at least 3 days of hard work solving me the issue which was caused by my mistake. Actually I clicked on some untested "reset button" on a new theme and all my hard work was deleted i a minute. Jason helped me and restored my hard work for me and now I'm on the way to finish my new website, like nothing happened.

Thank you Dollar2Host, I'm happy because I found you on the internet and opened an account with you. I'm your client for a several years and I'm going to stay your client as long as we exist.

In spite of I read many negative reviews / scam warning about www.dollar2host.com I bought a shared hosting package which cost 20 EUR yearly.
It was really bad service, server is always down, a lot configuration problem
Finallly they shoot down my webs because of a lot of CPU comsuming,
They claimed that software which I use in my web pages are causing this high CPU usage.
But when I speak with OSCLASS engeneers they told me that this is occuring from hosting company side. OSCLASS adviced me to change hosting company
I have immigrated webs to another one. It works fine.
There is a proverb " cheap buying is expensive buying ".
Today is is impossible an unlimited hosting plan for 20 EUR yearly, price is indicating that there is something suspicious.
You just worse your time and money... Do not buy from such cheap package seller & fraud hosting companies

Company claims 24x7x365 chat and email with all departments. However, billing can not be reached via chat and they are slow to respond. Money back guarantee is a joke. They ignore all requests for money back and when they finally do give a refund, they charge you for what are free items. You have to fight for every cent you are owed. Service is very poor. My email never worked and the instructions they offer to set up the service are severly lacking. It takes hours to get tech support; again, the chat is poor and is staffed by uneducated individuals. Stay away from these thieves.

The worst hosting i ever got, if your site has a lot of traffic it will down everyday, they don't care about your site down, until you contact them, don't host with them or you'll be sorry. Please don't trust any good review about them, they hire someone to post, i make review just want to save your money, from this bad indian hosting, i think it's not even a company, just someone that rent dedicated server, and sell it to others, all i can say they are BIG SCAMMERS

Very fishy company (dollar2host). Here's why...

1) When I asked the person on chat if it was American or Indian, s/he lied and said it's American. I asked for address the person responded with "Walnut, USA". I asked for the full address and the person responded "340 S Lemon Ave, Walnut, CA *******, United States". Ha, ha... caught! This is a fake address used by most scamsters. 2) Their phone number is displayed as +1 *******580 on the home page. I made more than 20 calls but there is no response. It does not even ring. When I mentioned this to the support person on chat, s/he said "All operators are busy, that's why". Sure. LOL!

3) When you look up the whois info for the domain dollar2host.com they have hidden the info. Red flag! Chat support person explained it as "For security reasons"

4) I am from India (and yes, I do not want an Indian hosting company!) and I gave these guys the benefit of doubt and thought they're American (I mean, who would have thought they would lie throught their teeth!) and purchased hosting from dollar2host but guess what... paypal rejected my payment with the message "You cannot pay somebody in India". Our banking regulations allow using Paypal only to make payments to people outside India. And because dollar2host is in India, my transaction was rejected. They were caught red-handed. :)

The service provides ample storage space and bandwidth, making it ideal for small to medium-sized businesses or personal websites.

Since the first day i got my hosting plan it have been a pain in the $#*!, server always crashing or going under maintenance without letting you know about it.

You can start your day turn on your PC and no website for hours! You try to contact support and they only say sorry server RAM issue it won't take too long... 5 hours later server STILL DOWN!

Get with support again and they tell you that they are restoring server hard disks.

I didnt know thet you need to mess with the servers hard disk when changinf RAM cards thats BS.

I WONT RECOMMEND THIS PIECE OF CRAP HOSTING AT ALL!

DOLLAR2HOST is Very bad hosting, Do not buy from this company. FRAUD.
Lot of problems, very slow hosting, very bad support, they lie that they have unlimited hosting. Always website PROBLEM, always hosting errors. EMAILS vorking very slow and bad. Always getting errors...
Before I purchased this hosting, I contacted them by chat and asked some questions... They told me that this hosting is really unlimited and fast. As soon I ordered, I noticed that they not allow to use unlimited hosting. Also it is working very very BAD with very much ERRORS.

I joined Dollar2Host since 5 August 2013 - windows server, my account: samirfares.eu. I found it slow when connecting MS SQL, and I submit many ticket and there is no solutions, SO I requested cancel my account and refund on 19 August 2013, but they did NOT cancel my account up to now and they NOT refund, I repeated my requested to cancel my account and refund because I am in the first month, BUT they ignore that and they did NOT cancel my account and They did NOT refund. I am not like this hosting company.
