Purchased some 2-part epoxy a few weeks ago for an upcoming project. Item is: Do it Best Plastic epoxy [1oz] card item ******* /*******/ UPC# 0-*******-*******-4
I opened that brand new package today to use it and one side (one adhesive section) is totally non-liquid… so can't use it. Had to throw the whole away. I have never purchased a 2-part epoxy that was solidified or dried up on either side, and I've bought all manner of 2-part's over my 50 years as an adult. Very disappointed and will not purchase again.
I did not keep the receipt since I have never had an issue with 2-part "anything" and taking a picture you'd only see how I cut off the tube end right at the syringe barrel in an attempt to use it. Of course pressing the pump handles only spewed the OTHER adhesive part - so became very messy (I tossed it).
I can not recommend. Maybe if the company sees this review they might send a "fresh" one to me? Not holding my breath.
I accidently ordered from this website (I thought I clicked Homedepot.com) but I figured I'd give it a shot anyway since the order was placed. After several days, I hadn't received any shipping confirmation or tracking so I jumped on their website and opened a chat. I told them I wanted to cancel the order since there was no shipping confirmation or tracking and she said she couldn't because "tracking had already been assigned". Not even 30 seconds later, she sends me tracking info and suddenly and emailed comes thru the exact same time. I thought that was pretty suspicious and told her to cancel the order anyway. She says she can't and for me to just refuse the package when it arrives and then it will be shipped back to them and a refund would be issued (minus shipping charges). I refused the order around Dec 18th or so and it wasn't received back in the warehouse until Dec 31st. I waited until today, Jan 9th, and finally wrote them that they got my return on the 31st and had yet to issue a refund. All of a sudden, after writing them, I get an "order cancelled and refund issued" email. So it seems to me they weren't planning on refunding me if I never wrote them to ask where the refund was. They had the package for 10 days before I finally had to reach out on my own. I don't recommend this shady business! And their product was more expensive than in store.
I bought a thermocouple from them brand new. 2x the price of the Honeywell brand. Basically it was faulty and it had to pay a HVAC guy 500 dollars to throw parts at my boiler because he saw I replaced the thermocouple.
Do it the best sold me a malfunctioning thermocouple.Do it the best blamed my local hardware! What a poor company this is.
They wouldn't even refund me.

I bought a rubber band for a shredder from them (order 6790-******* dated June 10,2023. As a result, the order was canceled, the money was not returned. They referred to the fact that the payment was a card issued not in the USA. They stopped answering questions. In fact, they stole money from me

Would give zero stars if possible! The items sold may or may not be as advertised ( mine was not) HOWEVER buyer beware! Their return policy is NOT as stated online! IF you receive an item with which you are dissatisfied, you may only return it if the box is unopened! If the quality is poor, if you simply changed your mind about the item, if you do not like how the items appears when received, too bad! You can ONLY return unopened items! Apparently, though this is not clearly stated, it is implied, according to customer service. My item was not used or even removed from its wrappings, it was simply taken out of the box. The box was not damaged and the item was completely resale-able…. But not according to this company! I WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN! Nor will i return to their stores. I think this company will eventually discover that this is not the way to do business! The first picture is the website item and the second is what I received!
A copy of the return policy has been included. As you can see, it DOES NOT state that items should be unopened in order to qualify for refund! When I call to initiate a return, I was told that in order to meet the criteria "new in original packaging", the item MUST be unopened! I challenged the customer service representative stating that that is NOT what the policy states and that if this was a criteria, then it should be stated. The rude, condescending rep said, in response, " was the box open when you received it?"! SHADY PRACTICE! Very SHADY! Again, I warn you, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
More like Doitslow, order items online and wait for days for then to ship to your local store. Avoid them there are other hardware stores.
I gave 3yrs there and they're saying I quit when in fact they FIRED ME over some bs about inventory
