This review concerns a massager for those with peripheral neuropathy. Their site (shopneurotech) says: "This cutting-edge massager employs low-frequency electrical pulses..." When I read the info and saw a 4.9/5 rating and an FDA approval, I was impressed and decided to give neurotech my money to try out this product December 30 2023. I thought it odd the email receipt came from an: ecommac LLC.

Anyway, right off the bat there was a shipping issue. They claimed [1/2/24] the unit was on it's way. I tried to verify via their link. NOPE - was not in "shipping". That same day I informed them that if I did not receive the item by Jan 15th, I was cancelling the order. 1/9/24 I checked again and found the same to be true and contacted them stating the order was cancelled and I wanted a refund. I contacted them 1/10/24 and stated: they could have driven it to my house 3 times by now, and they responded with a blame on the shipping services, so clearly they had no stock in the US. Thus as I suspected, it must be coming from China. Then 1/11/24 they responded offering a 20% refund and to keep the item... an item that hadn't shipped yet! I didn't respond. I didn't care about a discount. 1/25/24 I asked where my (full) refund was... No reply. Nothing since the 11th.

The device actually arrived late 1/26/24 and I opened the package right away. It was SO light I weighed it... it was less than FOUR OUNCES! I knew I was in trouble right then and there. To be fair, I charged it overnight and tried to use it the following day (today!) and what a miserable failure.

It "has" 8 operating modes... some seemed to work - kind of. It "has" 19 levels of intensity - a 'fact' that helped prompt me to purchase... BUT, only works at settings 1-2. The output is **pathetically** minimal, almost nonexistent. As soon as you hit 3 or above, it basically goes dead - on ANY mode. I "has" a 15 minute timeout... I never got that far, it always died.

The rubber pad is 0.011" thick, just over 1/10 of an inch, not very comfortable. The round 'snap on' control module is about 2.5" in diameter. Caution when pulling it off though - the snaps pull through. The haphazard instructions are in VERY small print on a 5x8' sheet of paper and poor at best. The battery inside (stated to operate for 160 minutes under full charge!) is too small to be of any use... and as I proved, doesn't. (I'm an electrical engineer BTW) The 7" charging cable is WAY to short.

I would strongly suggest everyone **STAY AWAY** from this supposed "foot massager". It is a make-believe if not fraudulent device. At least the one I was sent certainly is. I filed a grievance with my financial resource today and after they posted to the seller (I was still on the phone with my resource) the company IMMEDIATELY refunded my money. Shocked us both! Thank you for that, but I will never do business again with them due to their lies and run-arounds, to say nothing of the hassle and bogus product... This is not a product you want to purchase, and I do NOT recommend it at any level.

  • Carl's Jr

6/24/23

As a long time client of Carl's (50 years+) along with my family, I was visiting an attorney friend of mine when I stopped into a Carl's I normally do not frequent - clear on the other side of town. When I gave my order (at 10:41 in the morning) no customers were there. No one was inside or in the drive-thru but me... so clearly they were NOT busy in the slightest. I chose Carl's over nearby options because I have never had a "bad" experience... until now.

I paid, then drove to the side back lot to eat and found to my disgust that the $7.89 burger meal was what I must term "cold"... as if it had "maybe" been cooked earlier (or the day before?) and was left to chill out on some counter. There was **no** warmth to the sandwich at all, and the cheese was congealed. The texture of the bread gave the impression it was indeed old... at least 1 day old. The fries were JUST EVER SO SLIGHTLY warm... basically, "cold" and flimsy. I had to toss my lunch in the can except for the drink - which tasted watered down - and I left the back lot quite upset at this experience - and HUNGRY!

Debating about reporting the facility, I did end up contacting Carl's Jr/CKE Restaurants Holdings, Inc. June 7th by email via THEIR site, and waited... but was left hanging with this msg: "We received your feedback and are working with our teams to better serve you." - - - A total "blow-off"!

I have since contacted them several more times to ask why they aren't responding directly to me.
June 17th I wrote:
{ Dear whomever,
So still just hanging here…
No input from you, no call, no personal response or email, no replacement coupons, nothing…
Is this the customer service platform you're now doing business under?
It's the afternoon of the 17th…
Just wondering if I am going to hear back from you folks?
Thanks}

Carl's has gone WOKE apparently with an 'I don't give a damn' attitude toward it's customers... and they have not gone out of their way to contact me further (Yes, they have my email and T# and address)

Well big britches head-in-the-sand CJ operatives, and not that you care one bit, but word-of-mouth is a POWERFUL agent and you have now lost a decades old customer (and family!) by acting as stone cold as your wannabe "hot" food. Observing your unprofessional treatment of the situation, I can say we (which is several families these days) will never again go to a Carl's. BTW: We share this story whenever we can so others know what kind of company CJ's *really* is. YOU LOSE, not us.

Tip for consumers:
The CJ employees knew EXACLY what they were giving me... so there is no excuse possible for what they did... Just as there is no excuse acceptable for corporate to totally ignore this situation. I can not speak for other working folks, but in this day and age of managerial gutlessness in the business sectors, I choose *not* to give patronage to ANY institution which goes out of their way to both: fail AND ignore me. Shame on you all!

  • GE Appliances

7/2/22

Wife and I ordered a new washer and dryer (4-20-22) thru Costco, they were GE products - to be delivered 4-25. Thinking Costco would be delivering we found out FAR too late that once Costco issues the order internally, GE takes over ALL control of literally everything from that point forward. (Costco claims GE is only MFR that does this and it remains of great concern and issue to/with Costco) GE does NOT interface with Costco and operates totally on the outside of Costco. Now we understand why: so they can try to get away with extremely dubious, if not devious activities... some, literally bordering on fraud. Both delivered washer and dryer (1st delivery) were used/refurbished and had noticeable wear, etc. The GE delivery crew lied to us as concerned several questions, did not level either appliance, didn't hookup the dryer to the vent, but turned on the dryer and washer and immediately left our home, where upon the washer began making all kinds of very loud racket so I turned it off and looked inside. The agitator was in pieces banging around the water filled grease ringed tub. Clearly not new! The dryer had marks all over the back that indicated it had come from somewhere else but the factory and was banging loudly, EMPTY. Very distressed I called in for replacements [to Costco] - and found they can't do anything, so I had to call the GE delivery people, who gave me a callback number that turned out to be phony... ie: fake. When dialed, the telephone company message says "it is not a working number".
$
(2nd delivery) Took GE until May 9th to get us a supposedly "new" washer... but no dryer came! The "new" washer was **also** used/rebuilt. (I have a ton of emails, a hundred pictures and many videos to prove all of what I claim here in this VERY ABBREVIATED review!)
$
(3rd delivery) May 16th they finally brought a 2nd dryer and 3rd washer out. I rejected the dryer before it even came off the street because it clearly was another used/refurbished unit! The washer got scrutinized inside, where facia scratches were everywhere, the back was damaged, the inside was filthy.
$
DONE! This was the last straw. I contacted GE and Costco and told them both this stuff is going back and I want my money back. Costco said they have to wait for GE to pick the items up. Then I was told by GE it couldn't happen right away. WHAT?! I immediately took out the appliances to the back patio and wifey and I went to Lowes and bought the SAME appliances, which were delivered by Lowes 5-22-22. I kept the appliance boxes to cover the GE units on the patio to protect them in the interim.
$
Even after many calls and texts GE did not bother to pick up the appliances until JUNE 4th! Then they wouldn't give us a receipt that they had done so. Fed us all kinds of lines to try to support their comment, so was clear something was not right -AGAIN. It became clear they were stiff-arming us after 5 days so I had to threaten them with theft, as well as shared I had a full length video of them removing the appliances from our property (which I did). Within the hour I got text and email confirmation our appliances had been checked in/credited back and that Costco had been advised - so Costco could finally process our money back to our account... which occurred on the 9th.
$
We found this supposed "professional" GE delivery service went by 3 different names and *none* of the operations people appear to be trustworthy at any level, including all "mgmt". GE corporate is fully aware of these flakes (they hired them in the first place!) but apparently hires such outsiders so there is always a huge level of deniable culpability. WOW - what a way to do business!
$
By the way the appliances we got from Lowes WERE "new" and have been working like champs! MORAL: Do not buy *ANYTHING* G. E. from Costco. GE runs all over the Costco staff and the Costco good name and is but an ugly blight upon Costco proper! You ought know Costco hands were tied in all of this (GE doesn't even let them deliver GE products) so cannot blame Costco, except for ONE THING: Costco continues to handle GE in spite of the fact Costco told us GE is terrible to do business with, especially because they cut Costco out of the picture after all sales. Costco (different people at different levels within) shared they have manifold complaints from customers about the GE scenario.
$
It would "appear" GE does supply actual "new" appliances to those retailers who do delivery of products OUTSIDE of the GE hired crews. [ie: those retailers that do not use GE delivery crews.] At least that was the case/our experience with Lowes. We're glad for that because had the appliances we bought from Lowes at all indicated they had been used/rebuilt/refurbished/etc, the matter would have had to go full-on legal against GE and news crews would definitely have been called in. The fact that Lowes appliances WERE as advertised ("NEW") was the savings grace for GE.
$
Be VERY careful from whom you buy GE products from and definitely inquire WHO does the deliveries and set-ups. NO ONE should have to have had the terrible experiences we did with GE, yet we understand that a great many have. I felt an obligation to share all this so others who do a bit of due-diligence (research) might not get burned the way we did. Hope this helps, thanks for listening.

PS: Even though I originally entered the visual evidence below IN order, oldest to newest, the site apparently auto-rearranged them and I can't number them or rearrange them back in order.

Tip for consumers:
INVESTIGATE before putting your cash on the table! We/I wish we had known that Costco was only the" front man" for GE appliance products and that GE took over every thing/every detail **after** a person makes a purchase via Costco. GE delivery services, via GE, could be a really BAD THING and experience if you aren't careful. It certainly was for us! 3 times in a row on just ONE PURCHASE!

Products used:
After 3 attempts for one purchase: **None** from GE delivery/ge-appliances c/o Costco. Our washer dryer appliance purchases ended up being from Lowes, and we are happy with both.

As a NEW customer I placed an order Dec 2,2021 for qty 4 of one product... Later, not hearing anything or getting a tracking # I emailed them Dec 11,2021. NOTHING. Dec 20 my package arrived... took 19 days! Bottom line is the product is thin and poorly made and will not do what it was intended to do. **** Today is Jan 7,2022 and I finally got a short note back about my Dec 11th inquiry - almost 1 month later! This company shouldn't be doing business in the US and as for me - I will NEVER order from them again. To top it off they charged me shipping, which their promo said would be FREE! I hope people read these reviews - which I didn't do BEFORE I ordered. My bad. Live and learn.

Tip for consumers:
Don't bother - no responsiveness, no feedback, no support - they just take your money.

False advertising/switch'n'bait tactics. SD sent product twice but neither was what the site represented. THEY refunded (without my input) instead of sending correct item - I did NOT ask for refund. The item was a gift my wife will never get now - Will ***never*** use SD again!
