Even with an appointment have had to wait two hours for service. I will never go back. No true deal on tires. Got a flat waited three hours to get it repaired.
Called and got a quate for 2300 for Blizzac winter tires and came down. Told it would be 2500. I thought the difference was tax so just swolled hard and said ok. When done ( quickly) they had put on Grabbers and said they did not have the Blizzac. Bait and switch.Tires are ok,but not worth 2500
I used to ship tires strictly on price. The older I get having the piece of mind that someone will stand behind their warranty is worth paying a little extra!
There customer service sucks, don't greet you when you come in, always a long line, and takes forever just to check tire pressure! Only the one in Waco, Tx
I just took my car to Discount Tire at 8335 US Hwy. 31 S in Indianapolis, IN today and was very satisfied with their tire replacement policy and customer service. I purchased the Falken tire about a year ago, and it still had a lot of tread left. I got a flat tire and told Discount that I wanted to claim my Road Hazard warranty on the certificate that I bought. Evan, the salesman, said that was no problem and that Discount would either repair or replace the tire free of charge.
Evan said they were very busy, (I was 5th in line), and that it would take about 1½ hours to get the repair done. I told him I would be at a nearby restaurant while I waited. Apparently they worked very fast, replaced the tire, and had the car done in 45 minutes. The restaurant was noisy and I didnt hear my phone when he called. I was just amazed when Evan walked a block to the restaurant, came inside and told me my car was ready. Now thats great customer service!
I've taken all my cars for years to your establishment dealing with different location and never once had a bad experience. I teach a high school automotive program and the safety that your company stresses to the employee is one in a million.My las 4 visits 3 set of tires and dealing with Charlie Lunker the manager@ the 9440 Highway 6 store is one of the best Ive had since dealing with another one of your managers Jeff Bolt and of course he move to conroe

1.5 years ago had Discount tire install 6 new tires on Ram 3500 dually.
Went in for a rotation and they won't touch them because of a DOT. Law saying any tire more the 5 years old they can't work on them.
Come to find out a year and a half ago the tires they installed where 2011 tires. New Old Stock.

I went in to buy 4 Goodyear 275/60 20" Allterrain tires. The Salesman said they didn't have four but had four Goodyear Ultraterrain tires. He went on to say they gave a better mpg, a superior grip on the road and better ride. Unfortunately I bought the hyped Ultraterrain. Fact, my vehicle averaged 21.6 mpg with the Allterrain tires. I have made four 850 mile trips with the Ultraterrain tires. Best mpg has been 17.6. The ride is like 16 ply trailer tires. If it is raining, I have never seen a tire so prone to hydroplaning. These are the worst tires I have ever owned, I have been driving for52 years. When I went back to the Discount Tire store to complain I was told All Sales Are Final! But they had several similar complaints. In their old add they use to say if you didn't like a tire to bring it back and showed an old lady throwing a tire through their window, she must have had an Ultraterrain tire experience. Discount Tire has lost a customer.
When you purchase tires from discount they push the free replacement warranty and you have to pay 40 dollars for a new warranty even though I have 3 certificates left NOTHING is free I should of known better

I ordered 4 tires on weds nite over phone and i received them friday morning by fed ex, the person did there job and over and above, she looked up all options for my vette and she took my order as i requested for the tires i wanted, price was great and shipping was FAST. She was great to deal with and iam a retired auto repair shop owner and i wish there was 10 of this person. She needs to be awared for first doing her job, second for going over and above, and third for not saying any lies. She was great to deal with and i dont take time out to write reviews. I would say this id the first i have writen in 5 or 6 years so i dont do this often but this person needs to be rewarded thank you don gould
Pull into discount tire on rt 231, lebanon tennessee, needed tires, they told me to drive in the garage, they put tires on, and a little time later I was on the road, nicest people, fast service,
Took my truck in 5 times within 2 weeks, and the tires are still violently vibrating. I got a refund for the life balance and rotation. Gonna move on to someone who knows how to balance tires.
I was in the Fayetteville GA location to purchase 2 tires w/o installation, Cash & carry. They told me to have a seat. I sat there nearly an hour while they waited on multiple customers that came in after me. I watched them use high pressure sales techniques to get customers to spend more $ than they needed to. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN! I will be contacting the BBB after this.
I I was told that there was no waiting line at the southwest freeway store. I waited for over an hour to have my tires rotated. My car was left open and could've been stolen.
Made appointment on line. Second person in line. Waited 20 minutes to talk with someone. WTF. Took about 40 minutes to get to my truck. Once they started, it was fast.
I have a 2008 LaCrosse Super that I do not drive often but needed attention due to a nail in a tire. I also knew the tires were at least 5 or 6 years old despite limited wear. I went on the afternoon of 7/21/2023 and it was busier than expected but I had planned my time to get new tires and so I entered regardless. First off I was never pressured to buy. I expected to pay ~$1100 as i had looked up the price of the tires I wanted. I was informed throughout my wait of the situation and appreciated I was regularly updated of my place was in line. During my service, I was informed that my 2 rear tire pressure sensors were bad and that they could tell my front two had been replaced in the past. I told them to fix them but only had to pay for one because of the amount i was spending in the first place for the tires and wipers. In conversation with my attendant, I learned that my wheel lugs were of the type that were not one piece. I myself asked about single or solid lugs and was told they carried them and that I could stop by any time and purchase them. All in all it was a great experience when it easily could have been horrible due to the wait. I recommend this place to anyone with tire issues.
Made appointment to rotate my tires just bottom less than a year ago and he wouldnt do it because you want to me to buy two new tires no Im headed home to rotate them myself what a pain in the $#*!
I have bought many sets of tires from discount tires. I took my 2020 Subaru Ascent in for it's first set of replacement tires. They went out to scan my vin number, come back in and ask me if my name is xxxxxxx. I say no, this car has never been in here. Well they had my new car, purchased with cash, never owned by anyone else but us, under someone else's name. I got my tires, which I had already paid for online. They gave me some BS story about how that can happen. I talked with the manager, he gave me a different BS story. I called headquarters to find out how a car that had never been in to the store, was listed under someone else's name. He said our scanners aren't always accurate, but they are mostly right. "Inspires great confidence" I asked them why are you still using them,well we know they aren't accurate, I will pass this on to our teams for input. Which means nothing will happen, and they don't care about customers personal data. Since I ordered these tires online and I'm unsure of how much data the other person has of mine. I need to cancel my card, get a new one. I will never shop there again. The incompetence starts at the regional vice president, maybe goes higher, and runs down hill after that.
I completed my order online, and they charged me the additional cost for the extra warranty on the tires. When I tried to call and ask them to reimburse me what they overcharged me, they said I would have to drive in with my credit card and do it person. When I said no, that wasn't going to happen after three times of saying no, they found me a manager and he reimbursed me for the amount they overcharged my card, over the phone. Not only that, I had asked them to replace the two bad tires on my girlfriend's vehicle and I have a strong feeling that they replaced one of the good ones and left the bad one on there. Because when my girlfriend got home one of the tires was really low on air. So I don't know what happened. I had two bad now I have a third. I have to make a trip back to inspect the two they took off. LOOK JUST DON'T LET THEM WASTE YOUR TIME... AVOID THEM!
