I've been a customer with Discount Mags (DM), for close to 15 years. I only use DM for all my subscriptions, and there are many. If I have an issue they take care of it. DM is not local, for me, but that doesn't prevent them from rectifying the issue at hand.
I sent some years ago a yearly subscription to my sister (Carolina, address attached) and she received copies on time. She is very satisfied with the promptness of each scheduled delivery. Much thanks.
I tried to extend an existing subscription for a weekly magazine 2 weeks before it expired. Easy, right? No--they treated it as a NEW subscription, which takes 8-12 weeks to start. So I'm missing 10 weeks of my magazine with no recourse. And if the sub doesn't resume after 12 weeks, fat chance getting a refund. Won't be using this service any longer.
Once again, Ive had an issue with a magazine subscription. The publisher's fault (which they all have been), but the customer service rep from Discount Mags took care of it quickly and to my satisfaction. Plus, especially with their sales, they have the best prices on most magazines that they offer. Very pleased, wish all companies were this easy to deal with!
I usually check out several "discount" online services when ordering magazines, including DiscountMags. I've often found their prices to be the lowest and their service always top-notch. As well, when I've had problems with publisher fulfillment (i. E., not getting my subscription), DiscountMags' customer service has always looked into the problem promptly and resolved it satisfactorily. Highly recommended!
Site is pretty easy to navigate and i like the payment options. Magazines are usually on time but when they're not, i've found that due to USPS putting a magazine in my neighbors inbox. Neighbors are usually kind enough to let me know. Overall pretty good service.
In August of 2023 I requested an address change with discount magazine for national geographic for kids. This was for my grandson. I have received several emails regarding the delay but as of February of 2024 my grandson has still not received the magazine at the new address. What can be so hard about an address change. My next choice is to cancel the subscription and start a brand new one. I think they should be able to handle that. I don't understand the confusion, it's never been this difficult before.
I didn't see where this magazine was to be viewed online instead of being sent in a physical manner. My mom is 86 and I got it for her for Christmas and she will only read a physical copy, not digital.
So far so good.! Had this mag purchased through dis. Mag before. Was thing he horrible. Content was great. I only received about 2/3 of the mags. Got tired of Calling father was dying.he didn't realize what day it was, so it became easier. But please get this delivered. I bought it from my husband and he is not dying! Delivery sucked!
Ordered two subscriptions to US magazine for my grandmother's for their Christmas present. They both were so excited to get a magazine delivered every week. Great price and gives them something to look forward too!
I ordered my magazine over 2 months ago and it is still processing. I feel like the discount just isn't worth that long of a wait. Yet my email gets flooded with offers every day. Why would I purchase anything else when the wait for the one is taking so long? I wont be purchasing anything else from them and will delete my account once my subscription is over
Discount Mags does not honor their commitment to their customers who purchase magazine subscriptions through them. Upon notifying them immediately from the beginning of the subscription that the issues were not being received, they tell you they will contact the publisher. Of course the publisher isn't going to admit fault. Discount Mags has refused to refund my money upon my request. Meanwhile, I paid them up front for a subscription that I'm not receiving. DO NOT USE THEM. The small amount of money saved by going through this company for any magazine subscription is ultimately a waste of money and time trying to get issues resolved.

I've been shopping at Discountmags for a few years and never had any issues with my orders. I ordered a magazine for my mother for her birthday and it never arrived, I was so disappointed. I contacted the company and I received a response within hours asking for further details, I gave the customer care rep (Alexis) more info. She was so professional and quick to respond, I was amazed. She handled my situation immediately and followed up like she said she would. Excellent customer service is rare these days, Alexis is a rockstar and I hope she receives further recognition by Discountmags. I'm happy to be a long term customer. I would highly recommend this company.

DiscountMags has consistently put out magazine's for a very good price and ones that are very popular I have compared with other companies and this one is always the better buy. They just outrank all offers by far I couldn't afford to give so many magazine gifts without there prices and I'm always looking for the best magazines and believe me I have looked.
Getting on the mailing list is the secret to getting some outrageously good subscription offers, not to mention the every day offers that are usually well below most other subscription prices. Always prompt and reliable service.
It was easy to search the magazines that were appropriate for the age of my grandchild. The sample pages and description was helpful. Information on when to expect delivery of the first issue was great to set expectations.
Discount Magazine is my go-to source for magazines. They will match any price you find. I received a great offer from Kiplinger's but needed gift subscription renewals. I called Kiplinger twice and was required to leave a message for a callback. Never got the callback, so I contacted Discount Mag. And got it handled at the lower offer. My contact at DM. Was Alyssa who stayed with my order until it was fulfilled. On other occasions, DM already had the best price for me.
Received great customer service from customer service representative Naomi. I sent a question and concern and received a reply from her early the next day with the information I requested. She then took care of changes I needed for my account right away. It was much appreciated!
I use this site to get the occasional craft magazine that I'm not able to purchase where I live. I like the fact that I can just get a single copy rather than a yearly subscription. The magazine are digital so I get them almost instantly.

Answer: Hi Diane. That would depend on the actual magazine and the frequency in which it prints. I can give a better estimate if you can provide the title(s). Do you mean 15-20 of the same magazine as a bulk order or 15-20 different magazines? Regardless, shipping time is industry standard for each publisher and would be the same regardless of where you order. One retailer cannot ship a magazine any quicker than another retailer since it's all being printed and shipped from the same place.
Answer: Hi Susan, you can certainly renew through DiscountMags but I fear there may be a slight lapse in your subscription if you renew 30 days before expiration. We recommend that customers submit renewal 60-90 days before expiration to guarantee there isn't a lapse.

Believe us, if there was a way to get subscriptions to customers sooner, we would! This is industry standard no matter where you place the order. We do not print and deliver the magazines ourselves. We work with thousands of publishers all of which handle their own printing and delivery.
