As many reviews stated skeptical about device becoming unlocked, since I spent over 100 hrs on the phone with Xfinity to get them to unlock my Motorola Ace one 5. Three years later I seen this app service and thought I why not. Please read the app tabs print to be aware of service & unlocking code fees ( from carrier). The great news is the staff was communicative assuring to wait the suggested time to unlock divice. So I did and they held true to their service word. Thank you, we are using the phone with a new carrier.
This is a scam. Please don't waste your time or money by visiting this site. Nowhere on their advertising page does it mention that you will be charged an additional $50.00 to complete the service. When I asked for a refund, they hit me with some nonsense about agreeing to the terms on the checkout page. I am extremely disappointed at this slick way of tricking people into spending some initial money upfront while charging you an additional fee to complete the full service.
Phone locked out after a factory reset. Pay about 100 to unlock with their service and what do you know only after getting my 100 do they 'uncover' it will need another 300. I gave it up and the phone was unlocked but it felt quite bad how they could not 'know' this upfront and just be honest then. In the end it worked out but leaving a bad taste in my mouth and let my experience serve as a warning to you. The money and big words they throw around up front to hook you may be followed by having to follow with significant more money to get there.

Good service but it costed me almost 80£+ to get my iPhone7 unlocked... that's almost the price of a brand new phone. Also, you don't know how much you need to pay up-front which is very annoying... so overall I have mixed feelings
Uh paid the the £13 which was said to unlock my iPhone 13, then 10 minutes later received an email saying I need to pay an additional £26 for it to be unlocked, which I had to pay otherwise I'd lose the initial £13 u had already paid
The full amount for unlocking should be told before any money is paid

They were unable to help me with the phone unlock, even up to today, February 8,2022, but they were able to refund me the second payment at my request. I would say avoid using them if your phone is locked to Xfinity, as it appears to be an issue with that service provider.
Former Review Title: Highly Dissatisfied So Far
Placed an order for an unlock on December 15,2021 - I paid the initial payment and the follow up one, figuring it was worth it if the process was taken care of as fast as all these other reviews said. As of today, January 21,2022, my phone is still not unlocked. They're very responsive to emails (so far) and I've been emailing them every couple of weeks, so even if the response is just 'we're chasing them' at least it's -a- response?
I don't know what the problem is and can't seem to get a good answer. It might be an xfinity problem? Is it because I ordered the week before Christmas?
My hackles are raising a bit, for lack of a better way to put it, as the website seems to just display a static 'progress at 99%' message instead of updating dynamically with time passed or progress based on something external, and the support email says that 'once it reaches 100% they'll give it priority'. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt for the time being, but I'm getting frustrated.
I thought it would take less time, but they did have it finished in less than 24 hours even when the retailer kept giving me issues. I appreciate their existence. Thank you
Needed a phone unlocked
Order took longer than expected ultimately ended up being just over 24 hours. Phone was unlocked successfully with the first code. I didn't like the fact that it was a two-step and to pay process which was written in very fine print. After making the first payment you're kind of on the hook to make the second if you don't want to get ripped off for the first.

Took the premium service to get my phone unlocked from ICloud which they told me they could do even barred ones... paid £99 an up till now no response from them, emailed them a few times, but still no response, they lie, just to get your money, then say they'll issue you a credit note, if they can't unlock your phone, but don't respond, when you contact them...don't waste your time or money with them, fraudulent

After initial payment for 28.99 I received an email that said halfway there.just 50.00 more for unlock.Thought I was getting scammed so I wrote them an email back and I was informed that had I read the small print I would known about the additional charges.When I did I realized it was my fault for not reading through whole paragraph. I sent in the 50.00 I was told 4-5 days.26 hours later I received my unlock code and had immediate service. I am a very satisfied customer and will recommend Directunlock to all my friends.

Needed my phone unlocked that I purchased from Boost mobile
I initially paid $35 and thought that was it. Then found out I had to pay another $91 for the unlock code. This technique is called bait and switch. That's $126 USD I had to pony up for my unlock code. I would NEVER have done this for myself. This was done to get a visiting priest to our church from another country usage on his current cell phone and not need to pay for an expensive new US phone. Bottom line is YES, the service worked, but I wish they would have been up front with the additional cost.

Service is amazing but I think the amount for device unlocking is totally unpredictable like in the beginning they asked for 25$ to start the process then 70$ to unlock the phone and at that time you are very happy that only in 95$ our phone gets unlocked but all of sudden the new charges appears that is a carrier charges that we need to pay and it's between from 300$ to 700$ then you get shocked now what to do so I think they tell us first how much they charge and what will be carrier fee etc so customer mentally prepared if he wants to unlock the phone or not

I needed to unlock my phone within a short time period, it would have taken up to 10 days to do for free with Vodafone so this was ideal as I received my unlock code within a couple of hours. The only thing is I didn't read it correctly and did not realise that you had to first pay to check if your phone could be unlocked, and then pay again to actually unlock. Meaning it cost £50 instead of the £23 I was expecting. So I would advice to make sure to read the terms thoroughly as I was reading it all in a hurry!

It's not cheap but it works. Some reviewers have claimed it is a scam, but its clearly not. I wanted my iPhone unlocked from a Japanese carrier and was told told it would take 5-20 days. It took exactly 10 days from initial registration. The total fee was a bit less than the small print' estimate. Progress is informed daily by percentage of completion and moved around 5% per day up to 50% then it suddenly accelerated from 63% to 100% in 24 hours. I don't know how it is done "over the air" by wifi but my phone is now unlocked and SIM free. It feels like taking a risk while waiting the first time for it to happen, but be patient and you will get exactly what you paid for.

Yes easy to navigate but the cost is u clear as it was £23payment to Direct Unlock which was a great price with no hassle. Then £26 for Vonafone to releash the main number this is call server contion. Don't be put off as it is still alot less hassle than the going to the shop. Beware the phone has to have been brought from same supplier. Great service from Direct Unlocked otherwise.

Cumplen con lo que prometen, el tiempo me fue incierto se regresaba el indicador a 0, al inicio ofrecen un servicio a bajo costo pero solo es revisión para desbloqueo es necesario pagar lo que en un principio ofrecen que es desbloquear.

My brother gave me his old iPhone, the only catch is that it was locked by AT&T. I paid $30 for the standard device unlock and then I had to pay $50 to AT&T so in total it was $80- something. It was fast and they offer money back guarantee so I'd recommend this company.
Got my iPhone 15 unlocked, was expensive but that's the only way, don't fall for the gimmicky low cost ones, they don't work.

When i googled and come accrss this site great about £11.00 to unlock bargain, but! This was to make sure my phone was eligible to be unlocked, it was, then i got spanked for another £27.00 to actually unlock it, it did work and was happy but! I feel it was a bit naughty and i probably should have read the small print etc etc.
