DealDash is a penny auction site that I have found to be the best on the Internet. Great customer service, great variety of auction items and a good network of members. The site is easy to use and fast to learn. They have great privacy options in place, which I very much like for my safety on the Internet that is very important to me and most others. I suggest that you find your way to DealDash.com and start getting some great deals at great prices.
To all the people complaining that they never win. Winning is not easy, but it takes some luck and patients. You also need to have deep pockets sometimes if you want to win a high priced item. I have won at least 30 items on this site, sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you need to spend some money and stick it out for many hours. If you think you are going to go on this site and drop 7 dollars for 50 to 60 bids and win a tv or a camera you are sadly mistaken. Good Luck to all.
I discovered DealDash around 6 months ago and I am SO GLAD I did! I quickly figured out how to bid on the auctions and was winning in no time! I have contacted Customer Support on more than one occasion and have been treated promptly with nothing but respect. They have the best customer support of any site online!
Most people that say this site is a scam does not take the time to learn how to bid. If you want to join, buy a bid pack and watch some of the auctions prior to placing your first bid. Also, use bidbuddy so you do not waste bids.
I would give DealDash 10 stars if I could! A+ in every way!
Tried to win a couple gifts over the last 2 months. Maybe I have no luck but when you see how much previous winners paid ya think ok I have a chance. To many of the auctions I tried went for r or the times the amount of previous winners. I also know the previous winners numbers don't jive because they change every couple of hours. I'm done. Good luck
Hi Andy. You’ll be happy to know that if you do not win anything with your first bid pack (as advertised, first bid pack only), DealDash will put those bids back into your account so you can try again, we call this our Winning Guarantee. Could you send me an email to adrian@dealdash.com with your user name so I can take a look at your account? Thanks!
If you have all the time in the world to waste, and lots of money too, you may win one or two auctions, but competition is fierce for anything worth any value, like TV's and Cameras. A total waste of time and money, totally stupid.
Hi Harryanne. I´m sorry to hear you didn´t get lucky in the auctions. I do agree and sympathize with you that it would be great to walk away with an item you are truly interested in. Most of our customers do win, but maybe you’ve had an unlucky run or perhaps your bidding strategy has not been the most appropriate. If you need any tips and strategies on how to bid more efficiently, please let me know and I´ll send those to you.
DealDash has a 100% money back guarantee on your first bid pack purchase, and a second chance guarantee. If you decide to give DealDash a try and don't win an auction with your first bid pack we'll return the bids back to your account free for a second chance.
If you're still not satisfied with your DealDash shopping experience we'll be happy to refund your first bid pack purchase no questions asked. You can even keep any bids in your account or items you have won.
If you wish to learn more, please let me know. My email address is adrian@dealdash.com
OMG! I love this site! I'm totally hooked, I found so many inexpensive gifts for xmas & paid a fraction of what I would have normally paid in the stores! In this tough economy, it was worth the gamble!
I was new to this type of bidding site. I made a deposit and attempted to get into the swing of things but honestly I found the process to be a bit boring and I also felt as if I was a rookie amongst a bunch of pros. The thought of actually being able to acquire something such as MacBook for under $40 bucks sounds very interesting but the actuality of that happening are slim to none in my book especially when you have "PROS" who have thousands invested into there accounts that they have set to automatically place bids up to $100 below the actual retail price. I mean if one could get a $ 1400 item for $1100 that is still a great deal. But to the average Joe hoping to get lucky and grab the steal of a lifetime $1100 hurts just as bad as $1400.
I emailed dealdash with a general question; not even a problem issue. I expected an answer the next day. I received a response email in under 30 minutes, with my question fully answered... and then some. I'm very impressed.
I haven't been using the site for very long and have had two separate issues with the bidding. However, they were both resolved quickly and to my satisfaction and I find this is the best auction site out there.
I have a great time using Deal Dash and have won 25 items in the past 19 days. Most folks that have a bad experience simply don't understand how to use the site. You should only bid on things that your willing to buy anyway, that way if you lose then you simply use the Buy It Now feature and you'll get all your bids back to try for something else. Since shipping is free, if you use this strategy then its a win win situation. You get the item you wanted and the bids to try again. And if you win, then you've gotten a great deal on something you wanted anyway. Just be patient and watch a few before you start and it will all become clear how to play. Just don't go straight for that big screen TV with no experience and a few hundred bids and expect to win it big.
Hi Kenneth, great bidding advice... "You should only bid on things that your willing to buy anyway, that way if you lose then you simply use the Buy It Now feature and you'll get all your bids back to try for something else. Since shipping is free, if you use this strategy then its a win win situation. You get the item you wanted and the bids to try again. And if you win, then you've gotten a great deal on something you wanted anyway." - Thank you for sharing. Sincerely, Dave
I'm new to dealdash and didn't have a clue about the bidding process. I went crazy and got carried away bidding on everything in sight. When I realized my error I contacted them. They returned my bids. I really appreciated how they handled my problem.
DealDash is a great site! Not only do they offer fair auctions with free shipping, but they also run various daily deals, like 50% off and FREE auction win days. Their customer service is also fast and efficient. They really do care about their customers.
The fact that I have to bid against people who have a seemingly infinite number of bids to spend as the purchase their monthly limits. I can't compete, especially against the more prized auctions, with those who have to have a source of funding, buying and reselling on eBay, etc. I even know personally of stores that sell the products auctioned on DealDash.
Yes I have complained but get the same response.
DealDash wouldn't be in business if it were not for this grand deception.
Hi Brett, we're truly sorry to hear about your frustration and we appreciate you sharing your concerns with us. We understand that bidding against others with more bids can be challenging. In reflecting, my first exposure to DealDash would give a great example of how they operated. And I would understand that all the very nice-sounding people in customer help were just that. They did take my advice on their commercials, which is what attracted me to the website. I filed a complaint with the FTC. Emailed and spoke with the friendly people telling them their commercials where false and misleading. (Are you tracking with me?) Their commercials would say something like - I bought this on DealDash for ten dollars and it cost $100. There was no mention of what the bids cost that you have to purchase to bid on auctions. That, especially to new people can be a substantial amount. You will notice NOW a small written disclaimer at the bottom of their ads.
My biggest complaint, and why I rarely am on their website anymore, is the disparity between old-timers and new-timers and the number of bids the old-timers keep throwing down. I took notes of the bidders to assist me. What I found out was there were people who had been on the site for years. They bid for numerous items throughout the day, every day. I knew how I had to covet my bids and what I saw was a never-ending supply from old-timers. I complained many times and was always told by the nice people that they would forward it up to the decision-makers. I would go to eBay and see many of the items from their website on sale. I explained to them that people with so many bids were either independently wealthy or they had enormous amounts of free bids that I didn't come close to having OR they were being funded by their purchases and resale of items.
The quality of their products is remarkably good. That is what keeps me coming back to look for stuff. I was able to buy a robot mop for $40 plus bids for our church as we look to use these machines to replace paying people to clean the church's floors. Again it needs to be repeated - their products are remarkable.
Have I ever heard from the higher up people or have they addressed my complaints? Crickets.
Maintaining control with my bids and strategically bidding, I have paid next to nothing for several key items that I use on an everyday basis. Although bidding on everything and anything with tons of bids can be fun, too.
Thanks for your great review Michael and the great tips you have shared, Happy Bidding!
Great Site - Always buy things anyways and just another fun way of doing it. A wise word: Only bid on the things you want and would buy anyways - then get your bids back if you don't win! Thanks for a fun way to shop DealDash!
Great advice! Using the Buy it Now to get your bids back in case you don't win is the only way to go!
I have never had a negative experience on DealDash. Saying it is an honest company/site just doesn't seem to say enough! Great opportunity for deals, Quick and free shipping. An opportunity to earn free bids, and to buy what you bid on an didn't win.
From $0.60 to $0.12 per bid, then each bid is $0.01, then when you win, you have to pay for all of your own bids again, PLUS everyone else's bids.
What type of system is this?
I like to get deals and I have received several but I also lost several auctions and my bids. This to me is like GAMBLING! It becomes so addictive that you can't stop and then you end up losing a lot!
Also, people are ridiculous in their bidding methods which cause the price to go up and it is most likely not even an item they want but they want to win the "game" of it all.
Hi Donna. Thanks for your message and sorry for any inconvenience you may have had. Please note that the average customer at DealDash saves money by winning brand named goods at a significantly discounted price (bids included).
We encourage healthy bidding: keep to a budget, plan ahead how many bids you want to spend, and use buy it now to get your bids back. You can take a look at more tips and strategies here: https://www.dealdash.com/tactics-and-tips
Unfortunately, overbidding is a phenomenon we cannot explain. Users are completely responsible for the amount of bids they place in an auction. However, in some rare cases you can see these kind of situations happening.
We do not have an explanation or reason why someone would overbid. This does not benefit neither bidders, nor DealDash, since it makes our overall customer experience worse and makes us look dishonest.
However, since we do not have any kind of control on bids placed by our users, we cannot avoid these situations, although we really try our best to do so with our recommendations.
I hope this helps. If you still have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Not pleased w the site. Spend way to many hours trying to win something is ok BUT to be in the bidding from the first penny spent and watch every single name come across and after it gets to a point where no new bidders can join. You start to see new names pop up that NEVER bid before... Not for me to loose money like that. This was from my first bid and not happy w how this works. Seems more of a STEAL than a DEAL..
Hi Jay. We don't allow new bidders after the auction is closed to new bidders. What may have happened in this case is that some users only bid in the beginning of the auction and then stop bidding until after the No New Bidder limit is reached. This might make it seem like they were jumping into the auction, when in fact they had already placed their first bid before the limit. On the auction page, you can hover your mouse over the avatars to see when each user placed their first bid. If using the DealDash app, the 'Other Bidders' tab displays this information.

I enjoy bidding on DealDash, especially when I win... lol. It gets aggravating at times and expensive, however, I do have fun on the site. Everything that I have won have been excellent quality. I am pleased with all of my purchases!

Have a great day!
Excellent! The response I received was right on the money and I am tickled that the service is so great! I will tell everyone I know that DealDash cannot be beat. Thank you for your prompt and courteous attention to my request.
Answer: Thats a hard question to answer, because it depends on the article, and its value. I will say I have won some great Articles, and lost many, maby more. The more valuable the article the harder to win. Personally, I gave up on Deal Dash due to the BID STOMPING and Jumpers and the gready nature of some bidders, who stockpile bids. Also, even though Deal Dash supposedly has means to catch Buddy Bidding, I myself have caught at least 4 people doing buddy bidding, reported it, and nothing was ever done about it. Finally I no longer play on Deal Dash, for the reasons I mentioned, but thats my choice. Its up to you, on what you want to do. Hope this helps.
Answer: Hi Beatriz, I want to start this conversation by inviting you to read our Audit Conducted by Ernst & Young: https://dealdash.files.wordpress.com/2014/12/dealdash_ey_audit.pdf Fair & Honest is a symbolic capture of DealDash's core values, and these certainly start and end with our commitment to being humanistic. I would love to show this to you, how can we help? Please let me know. Adrian Community Manager
Answer: Hi William. If you do not win an auction you will not automatically get the bids back to your account. You have the option to use the Buy it Now button. By using the Buy it Now option you will get the item for retail price and all bids back to your account that you used in the auction. Users who take advantage of this option usually have a better experience, since they both get the item they initially wanted, as well as retain all their bids. If you do not want to use Buy it Now you will unfortunately lose the bids. We recommend our users to bid on items they really want, so that if they lose the auction, they can still get the item and their bids back. Let me know if you have more questions!
Answer: Hi Julie, I hope you are having a wonderful day I'd be happy to explain how the Buy-It-Now option works. Each bid you place takes away one of your bids from your balance and increases the price of the auction by 1 penny, then resetting the clock to 10 seconds. It's in this small window that someone else must decide if they will place a bid to outbid you. If no new bids are placed and you are the final bidder in the auction, you win the auction at the final sales price. If you do not win the auction, you will see the Buy It Now button. By using the Buy it now option, you will get the item for retail price and all the bids you used in that auction will be returned to your bid balance. Users who take advantage of this option usually have a better experience, since they get the item they initially wanted as well as retain all their bids. Please let us know if you have any other questions and be sure to read more about us here: http://www.dealdash.com/how-does-it-work Thanks so much for your great question, please feel free to reach back out and let us know if there's anything else you need. Answer: Hi Elizaabeth, Thank you for getting in touch. We offer all of our customers a full money back guarantee for the first bid pack purchase. Our payments team can get in touch with you and issue a refund. Please send me a number we can call. My email is adrian@dealdash.com
Answer: Hi Patricia, Thank you for getting in touch. I am sure this has been a misunderstanding. DealDash is audited by Ernst & Young, confirming that all bids are placed by real customers and all items are delivered. DealDash members and their acquaintances are strictly banned from taking part in the auctions. My guess is that another user may have chosen a user name similar to DealDash. If so, we'll need to change it to avoid confusion. Please send me an email with your user name, so I can find the auctions and spot the user. My email is adrian@dealdash.com I look forward to hearing from you. Best, Adrian Community Manager
Answer: Hi Jan, For new users, I normally recommend watching our How it Works video for a brief overview of what to expect from the auctions: http://www.dealdash.com/how-does-it-work DealDash has a 100% money back guarantee on your first bid pack purchase and a winning guarantee. Giving DealDash a try is risk free!
Answer: Hi Jasmine. All items on the site are brand new, factory sealed and come with standard manufacturer’s warranties. Vanessa, I am very sorry to hear you have felt that way. Could you please let me know your user name and I'll pull up your account? I'll be happy to assist with any concerns!
