I've visited several penny auction sites and found DealDash to be the best by far. They have the best selection of items and they don't charge shipping or any type of fees. The competition is pretty tough, but deals can still be had. I've found customer service to be very responsive, and items are shipped very quickly. Overall a very fun site to hangout. If you've been thinking about trying the penny auctions, be sure to check out DealDash.
I always enjoy bidding on this site. It is my favorite place to bid. They are honest and try to help you out all the time. Customer service is number 1 here.
So great to hear Victoria, thank you!
Honest service quick delievery Products excellent Have no complaints. Once you get a deal you tingle all over. Give it a try
Thank you Joanne. We're always available to help with any questions or provide bidding tips so we hope you'll reach out to our customer support team. All the best, Dave
I needed to make a change on my username. Customer service response was fast & accurate.
I had, to me, a major concern about the site and found that I just did not understand how it worked (I'm old, pre-computer sort of). They took great care in explaining everything to me in a very timely fashion in a way that I could understand, letting me know that they really do care about customer service.
Nice to hear Pam. If you ever need any other assistance please don't hesitate to contact us. Sincerely, Dave
I have won two tv's, a cannon camera, a microwave, a steam cleaning machine and other things. It is a good and honest auction. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to try their luck. The most important thing is play for FUN!
That's what we are all about. Making shopping more fun! Glad to hear you've had some good success and hope you win some more great deals.
I requested a refund on my unused first bid pac, for reason's having nothing to do
With deal dash!... and they were straight/up, honoring their own policy by
Promptly refunding my $36.00 the same day I made my initial request. Finally,
To experience "old time " traditional country type service... WOW! Thought
It'd all but disappeared from the Landscape. Way to go guy's...
Thank you John. If you ever have any other questions please don't hesitate to reach out to us. Sincerely, Dave
Compared to quibids DealDash is better in that the cost of bids are less, and if you don't win you can buy the item and get your bids back. BUT they have changed over the years the items they offer are very expensive, some times as much a double what you can buy them for on line and what they offer now are not things that most people, in my opinion, are looking for.
I have had nothing but fun and success on dealdash. You would be well served to learn how to play the game before spending money to play (that would be like me joining a poker game). Very soon you learn what the deal is on the dash, and be answering the doorbell.
Now it's not all roses, I've been frustrated too. Sometimes I know when to walk away! That's what makes it still fun, and keeps me coming back.
Nice to hear Colleen. All the best in the up-coming auctions and hope you win some fantastic deals to give as gifts for the holidays.
Great Site - Always buy things anyways and just another fun way of doing it. A wise word: Only bid on the things you want and would buy anyways - then get your bids back if you don't win! Thanks for a fun way to shop DealDash!
Great advice! Using the Buy it Now to get your bids back in case you don't win is the only way to go!
I HAVE BEEN ENJOYING DEAL DASH FOR TWO YEARS AND HAVE NOTHING BUT PRAISE FOR THE SITE. THE AUCTIONS ARE GREAT FUN AND YOU CAN WIN SOME WONDERFUL THINGS. THEY ARE REALLY PROMPT ABOUT SENDING THE MERCHANDISE. ONE TIME A ITEM WAS NOT AS DISCRIBED AND I NOTIFIED CUSTOMER SERVICE WHO BENT OVER BACKWARDS TO MAKE IT RIGHT. YOU CAN'T ASK MORE OF A AUCTION.
Thank you Carol for the great feedback!
I will start out by saying I have won a few items on this site. It has taken me almost a year to figure out bidding patterns. I keep my dealdash screen minimized while I work from home so I am able to often times watch a few auctions at a time for hours as a time. I have seen certain bidders open an auction with the initial bid and bid continuously until the very end, going well over the BIN price twice! This shows me some of the auctions are fixed with robot bidders. No one in their right mind would bid 2x the BIN price in bids even if they won free bids. Bids still have a value, free or not. I have also watched team bidders, people who combined (or the same person using more than one account) bid on items for hours, and then as soon as you drop off, they drop off one of their bids and their partner wins. By studying bid patterns - its very easy to spot these types of bidders. I always use BIN if I loose so I feel that sometimes dealdash knows that I use BIN and I loose at the very last second after biddng for hours. Like I said, I have won a few low budget items but I would def say that 90% of auctions are fixed or have robotic bidders.
Hi Jen, thanks for your message. As you know people value their bids differently depending on how much they paid or how many free bids they have earned or won. One strategy some bidders may use is unfortunately to overbid on auctions because they are simply determined to win and they do this to also build a reputation so others are afraid to bid against them. I would not recommend bidding this way however it has seemed to work for some bidders. For example you may have a list of bidders yourself who you will not bid against because you know they will not stop. I can assure you no auctions are fixed. There are also no robotic bidders. All participants are real people like yourself just trying to have a fun time shopping and win a good deal. If you ever suspect anyone to be team bidding or the same person using multiple accounts, please report this to our support team for investigations as this is a violation of our terms of service. If you have any other questions or would like to talk please get in touch. Sincerely, Dave
I saw my grandmother doing the bidding on deal dash and saw she was not winning anything so i decided to bid on some $10 gift cards that were going for only a few pennies. Low and behold i bid and won it for 1 cent i bid on another and again 1 cent. I bid on another product a official MLB baseball and won it for 3 cents and again another $10 gift card and won it for 3 cents... all of a sudden these products stopped showing up... we used the rest of the bids she had and won nothing else so i started to think these items r not showing up its like bait and switch... i went to my apartment next door and signed up on my computer diff ip internet connection and all... low and behold the same items that she was able to bid on showed up i went to her house with my lap top and the small items that were going for a few pennies she could not see them or look them up in the search area but on my computer they were right there they basically get u to sign up and will give u a few items no one else is bidding on than as soon as u win 4 small items they dont let u anymore thus making this straight BS they r scamming people for there money and a class action law suit would put them out of business
Hi Jason, some of the lower valued items are beginner auctions and once you win them, you are not able to win them again. This helps keep a healthy and level playing field among new bidders and chance to practice your bidding strategies before moving up to higher valued items. Please get in touch with any other questions you may have an we'll be happy to help. Thank you, Dave
This site based exactly on the slot machine concert.
You keep putting paid bids (coins) in to try to win something at a greatly reduced price. You lose your bid money if you don't win, and the only way to get your bid money back if you lose, is by agreeing to buy the same item at the full price, which you don't want to do, which is the reason you where bidding in the first place. So you LOSE all you bid money and get nothing in return 95% of the time.
You win just enough items (small jackpots) to entice you to keep putting in more paid bids (coins) and losing money to try to finally win an item at a greatly reduced price (the jackpot) over and over again, just like with a slot machine trying to win the jackpot.
DealDash is deceitful and a scam.
Hi Gilbert, most people do use the Buy it Now option in case they don't win. This way they get back their bids to try for something else. It's a different and fun way to shop for many and I hope you'll give it a try. We have a 100% money back guarantee on your first purchase if you're not satisfied with your shopping experience for any reason. Let me know if you have any questions. Sincerely, Dave
I am a new user on DealDash jacobpaske08. I see many good products on DealDash, unfortunately they are unattainable for many of its users. I am requesting my 200 bids get returned to my account, "Due to the fact i did not understand the bidding concept of the site" Or i will be filing for a refund. Thank you and good luck to everyone.
Hi Jacob, sorry to hear you did not understand the bidding concept. All customers are entitled to a full 100% money back guarantee on their first purchase, no questions asked. If you'd like to talk about some bidding tips please feel welcome to reach out to our support team and we'll be happy to help.
Positive experience. I have gotten some really great deals, including an I-Pad, gifts cards, and household items. I received my first bid pack back as promised since I did not win the first time. Everything has shipped fast. I would advise new bidders to read the tips and blogs on this site. Do not bid more than you can afford to loose unless you plan to buy the item. It is a fun site. Remember nothing is free and you have to put some effort in to learn how to bid.
Great to hear Janice and good advice. Thank you for sharing!
I like the way shopping here. And i have a questtion. Will i get the bid back if i win the auction? I will give 5* if the answer is yes.
Hi Thanh. If you win the auction, we keep the bids. If you lose the auction, you can buy the item at regular price, we'll ship your item free, plus give you back all the bids you used in that auction. If you have any questions please feel welcome to contact our support team. Thank you, Dave
I have won many auctions. I have received timely shipments and customer service has been top notch.
Deal Dash is a great way to spend some idle time. If you are not careful it can become very addicting. You can win some really nice items but you must learn to play by first observing how others play. I did a lot of homework before I actually starting betting so I would have a better chance of winning.
Good advice Janeth, thank you for sharing!
Dealdash charged my account $36.00 for bids when I was just looking. It was mis leading. I HAVE reached out to customer service and no one has responded. I would like my money refunded. I am disappointed with their customer service.
Hi Amy R, I see a customer support agent replied to a support request from Amy R. Last week on October 27th, the same day the support request was submitted. DealDash has a 100% money back guarantee on your first purchase so we'll be happy to process this for you straight away. If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to contact us. Sincerely, Dave
Answer: Thats a hard question to answer, because it depends on the article, and its value. I will say I have won some great Articles, and lost many, maby more. The more valuable the article the harder to win. Personally, I gave up on Deal Dash due to the BID STOMPING and Jumpers and the gready nature of some bidders, who stockpile bids. Also, even though Deal Dash supposedly has means to catch Buddy Bidding, I myself have caught at least 4 people doing buddy bidding, reported it, and nothing was ever done about it. Finally I no longer play on Deal Dash, for the reasons I mentioned, but thats my choice. Its up to you, on what you want to do. Hope this helps.
Answer: Hi Beatriz, I want to start this conversation by inviting you to read our Audit Conducted by Ernst & Young: https://dealdash.files.wordpress.com/2014/12/dealdash_ey_audit.pdf Fair & Honest is a symbolic capture of DealDash's core values, and these certainly start and end with our commitment to being humanistic. I would love to show this to you, how can we help? Please let me know. Adrian Community Manager
Answer: Hi William. If you do not win an auction you will not automatically get the bids back to your account. You have the option to use the Buy it Now button. By using the Buy it Now option you will get the item for retail price and all bids back to your account that you used in the auction. Users who take advantage of this option usually have a better experience, since they both get the item they initially wanted, as well as retain all their bids. If you do not want to use Buy it Now you will unfortunately lose the bids. We recommend our users to bid on items they really want, so that if they lose the auction, they can still get the item and their bids back. Let me know if you have more questions!
Answer: Hi Julie, I hope you are having a wonderful day I'd be happy to explain how the Buy-It-Now option works. Each bid you place takes away one of your bids from your balance and increases the price of the auction by 1 penny, then resetting the clock to 10 seconds. It's in this small window that someone else must decide if they will place a bid to outbid you. If no new bids are placed and you are the final bidder in the auction, you win the auction at the final sales price. If you do not win the auction, you will see the Buy It Now button. By using the Buy it now option, you will get the item for retail price and all the bids you used in that auction will be returned to your bid balance. Users who take advantage of this option usually have a better experience, since they get the item they initially wanted as well as retain all their bids. Please let us know if you have any other questions and be sure to read more about us here: http://www.dealdash.com/how-does-it-work Thanks so much for your great question, please feel free to reach back out and let us know if there's anything else you need. Answer: Hi Elizaabeth, Thank you for getting in touch. We offer all of our customers a full money back guarantee for the first bid pack purchase. Our payments team can get in touch with you and issue a refund. Please send me a number we can call. My email is adrian@dealdash.com
Answer: Hi Patricia, Thank you for getting in touch. I am sure this has been a misunderstanding. DealDash is audited by Ernst & Young, confirming that all bids are placed by real customers and all items are delivered. DealDash members and their acquaintances are strictly banned from taking part in the auctions. My guess is that another user may have chosen a user name similar to DealDash. If so, we'll need to change it to avoid confusion. Please send me an email with your user name, so I can find the auctions and spot the user. My email is adrian@dealdash.com I look forward to hearing from you. Best, Adrian Community Manager
Answer: Hi Jan, For new users, I normally recommend watching our How it Works video for a brief overview of what to expect from the auctions: http://www.dealdash.com/how-does-it-work DealDash has a 100% money back guarantee on your first bid pack purchase and a winning guarantee. If you decide to give DealDash a try and don't win an auction with your first bid pack we'll return the bids back to your account free for a second chance. If you're still not satisfied with your DealDash shopping experience we'll be happy to refund your first bid pack purchase no questions asked. You can even keep any bids in your account or items you have won. Giving DealDash a try is risk free!
Answer: Hi Jasmine. All items on the site are brand new, factory sealed and come with standard manufacturer’s warranties. Vanessa, I am very sorry to hear you have felt that way. Could you please let me know your user name and I'll pull up your account? I'll be happy to assist with any concerns!
