I felt as though the site just took my money. I don't see how you can win an auction unless you sit at the computer for hours. I am a huge ebay shopper and feel like that is the way to go. Deal Dash is just making a ton by charging you to bid. One person wins but everyone bidding pays for the item. With ebay you pay when you win the auction but not to bid. This is a rip off!
When I presented my cc info they charged me 36.00 I got back in touch with them and asked them why I was charged this amount. I asked for a refund and gladly did so with out any hesitation
Very professional. Will do business with them anytime.
HAD A QUESTION ABOUT A RETURN, GOT AN IMMEDIATE RESPONSE WITH HELPFUL INFO. THAT DOESN'T HAPPEN ALL THAT OFTEN. THUMBS UP!
Thank you Fran for the thumbs up and nice review. Glad we were able to help. Let us know if there's anything else we can assist with. Sincerely, Dave
Like the site. Enjoy the interaction, and everyone at Dealdash has been so very nice and helpful. I have recommended Dealdash to all of my friends and will continue to do so..
Nice to hear, thank you Robert! We're always available to help so just let us know. Best, Dave
I was skeptical at first to join. I joined for what I thought was $36.00 for 60 bids. After using all of my bids, I checked my credit card and saw they had debited $60.00 instead. I contacted their customer service and received an immediate reply. My credit card was credited and I received a very nice and sincere apology for the unintentional mishap. Very honest mistake.
I purchased about 1000 bid in 200 increments. I feel I wasted my money over and over. I was so disappointed. I tried to use the advise of the support service member who contacted me but I still did not win anything. I just wanted to find good deals for Christmas presents for my grandchildren. I would have been better off if I had just sent my money at the store. I was told by the service representative "well its not for everyone" so it was a terrible experience for me.

Sorry to hear this Reta. A good tip when shopping with us is to always go for something you like and buy the item at normal price in case you don't win. This way you don't lose any bids because you get them back to try again. Plus you get your shopping done and a chance to get some really good deals along the way.
Being somewhat confused about my bid points, I contacted Support and within a couple of minutes I had an explanation of that part of the system and I now understand completely. Thanks Deal Dash for the quick response and understandable explanation. You are alright in my book!
The site recently held a Black Friday free sale, where if at the end of the auction you had the highest bid, you got the item for free. Sounds great right? That's what I thought until I looked at it more closely. Here are some of the auctions I reviewed from their Black Friday Sale.
Apple Mac mini sold for $633.95
That's 63,395 bids@ $. 15 each(this is the cheapest you can buy bids from them, you may pay even more), which comes to $9509. 25 - $540.00(retail price).
Dealdash profit $8969. 25
HP Envy Laptop sold for $403.06
That's 40,306 bids@ $. 15 each, which comes to $6045. 90 - $880 retail.
Dealdash profit $5165. 90
Arrow Sewing Cabinet sold for $488.45
That's 48,845 bids@ $. 15 each, which comes to $7326. 75 - $536 retail
Dealdash made $6790. 75 off this product.
Ridiculous profits just off of these 3 items! If a group of people came up to me and said "We'll give you $9500 to go out and buy an Apple Mac Mini and throw it up in the air so one of us can catch it," he'll yeah I'd do it.
In the end, one person won, who may or may not have gotten a good deal depending on how many bids they used. Everyone else who took part in the auction is given the option the buy the item at retail value, and get your bids back. Which could work against you anyways because you could get the item on sale elsewhere. My advice, STAY AWAY.
Why the negative review? Certainly it would be great to profit so much however as you mentioned everyone that took part can buy the item at retail value and get their bids back for free which the majority of people do; therefore we don't make a profit from all the bids as the majority are returned back to the customer. Our prices match our partners like Best Buy and Sears so whatever price you would pay with them is the same with us.
Human error but staff helped resolve issue in a very expediant manner. Unbelievable customer service. Kudos to their entire Support staff.
Wonderfully surprising customer service! They will keep my business based on that alone.
This is the best penny auction website! They have the best customer service, and their shipping is unbelievably fast. I have often received items with a few days of winning an auction, and never longer than a week.
I had a question that was resolved almost before I hit the send button. Very prompt, courteous and respectful
We always try to answer support tickets promptly! Good to know our support team is awake and helping customers like yourself. Thanks for sharing Joseph.
I made a mistake in the bidding process and pushed the wrong button by mistake that could have cost me $$, and it was taken care of by the support team.
I've made a few errors in my bidding and they overcharge me once. Every penny was corrected in a very short period of time.my major mistake i accidentally purchased $355.00 worth of bids when i thought i was paying for a low price gift card. With disbelief they credited me fully. Since i'm a low bidder on inexpensive items that was great. I would have had a hard time explaining that credit card bill to my wife. Happy bidding and happy holidays to the dealdash crew.

I had some concerns with how the website worked, but after receiving a very quick response to those concerns, I now have a much better understanding.
Nice to hear Gerald. Our customer support team is only an email away if you ever have any other questions. Please don't hesitate to contact us. Sincerely, Dave
I made a bid, but did not hear back from you. Is this the site I can use to get my money back? If not, please tell me how to do it. Thanks.
Hi Joanne, please email refunds@dealdash.com to help with your refund.
I have had an good experience with deal dash. If you take your time and dont try to over bid and let the time count down it will be better for you. So many people try to out bid each other by clicking you right out the bid.
Good advice Chestine! Glad to hear you've had a good experience. If you ever have any suggestions on how we can make the experience even better please don't hesitate to contact us. Sincerely, Dave
I had problems learning the ropes playing the auction and dash deal customer service was compassionate and most helpful in leading me straight. Jkh
Good to hear Jerrie. Please let us know if there's anything else we can assist you with.
DealDash is wonderful. I love that you can get so many things for cheap, what a great way to get things for christmas and birthdays. The customer service dept. is great, very fast and courtous. My address was wrong and they reship my order how great is that. I just bought a house and I am finding all my things at DealDash.
Thank you Melissa for the great review! Must feel great to have bought a house and to fill it with new items. Enjoy!
Although I read all the instructions I`m more a visual person. I signed up for the introductory 100 bid package and set out to start bidding. But it moved so quickly and I couldn`t understand how you could ever win a bid since when you bid the clock starts all over again and if someone bids over you it starts again. So in my frustration I wrote to Customer Support saying how dissatisfied I was. This was about 7PM. The very next morning there was a lovely reply from Mathew in Customer Support expressing his regrets that I was so dissatisfied and he assured me that they guarantee satisfaction and so they were issuing me a full refund for the $36 I spent to purchase a package of 100 bids. Though I wish I were more savvy in understanding the process their immediate action in refunding my investment assures me that deal and Dash is a legitimate and Customer Friendly business.
Thank you Ginny. If you're willing to take the time there are some great blogs with great tips on how to bid. For example DealDashTips.com and DealDashReviewed.com. If you ever have any questions you can also email our customer support team. Sincerely, Dave
Answer: Thats a hard question to answer, because it depends on the article, and its value. I will say I have won some great Articles, and lost many, maby more. The more valuable the article the harder to win. Personally, I gave up on Deal Dash due to the BID STOMPING and Jumpers and the gready nature of some bidders, who stockpile bids. Also, even though Deal Dash supposedly has means to catch Buddy Bidding, I myself have caught at least 4 people doing buddy bidding, reported it, and nothing was ever done about it. Finally I no longer play on Deal Dash, for the reasons I mentioned, but thats my choice. Its up to you, on what you want to do. Hope this helps.
Answer: Hi Beatriz, I want to start this conversation by inviting you to read our Audit Conducted by Ernst & Young: https://dealdash.files.wordpress.com/2014/12/dealdash_ey_audit.pdf Fair & Honest is a symbolic capture of DealDash's core values, and these certainly start and end with our commitment to being humanistic. I would love to show this to you, how can we help? Please let me know. Adrian Community Manager
Answer: Hi William. If you do not win an auction you will not automatically get the bids back to your account. You have the option to use the Buy it Now button. By using the Buy it Now option you will get the item for retail price and all bids back to your account that you used in the auction. Users who take advantage of this option usually have a better experience, since they both get the item they initially wanted, as well as retain all their bids. If you do not want to use Buy it Now you will unfortunately lose the bids. We recommend our users to bid on items they really want, so that if they lose the auction, they can still get the item and their bids back. Let me know if you have more questions!
Answer: Hi Julie, I hope you are having a wonderful day I'd be happy to explain how the Buy-It-Now option works. Each bid you place takes away one of your bids from your balance and increases the price of the auction by 1 penny, then resetting the clock to 10 seconds. It's in this small window that someone else must decide if they will place a bid to outbid you. If no new bids are placed and you are the final bidder in the auction, you win the auction at the final sales price. If you do not win the auction, you will see the Buy It Now button. By using the Buy it now option, you will get the item for retail price and all the bids you used in that auction will be returned to your bid balance. Users who take advantage of this option usually have a better experience, since they get the item they initially wanted as well as retain all their bids. Please let us know if you have any other questions and be sure to read more about us here: http://www.dealdash.com/how-does-it-work Thanks so much for your great question, please feel free to reach back out and let us know if there's anything else you need. Answer: Hi Kathy - All items are brand new. We work with top suppliers such as Walmart and Sears, who ship the items directly to your door! If you are unhappy with any item you receive, simply contact our support team and they will help you out. If you need anything else, please don't hesitate to contact me!
Answer: Hi Elizaabeth, Thank you for getting in touch. We offer all of our customers a full money back guarantee for the first bid pack purchase. Our payments team can get in touch with you and issue a refund. Please send me a number we can call. My email is adrian@dealdash.com
Answer: Hi Patricia, Thank you for getting in touch. I am sure this has been a misunderstanding. DealDash is audited by Ernst & Young, confirming that all bids are placed by real customers and all items are delivered. DealDash members and their acquaintances are strictly banned from taking part in the auctions. My guess is that another user may have chosen a user name similar to DealDash. If so, we'll need to change it to avoid confusion. Please send me an email with your user name, so I can find the auctions and spot the user. My email is adrian@dealdash.com I look forward to hearing from you. Best, Adrian Community Manager
Answer: Hi Jan, For new users, I normally recommend watching our How it Works video for a brief overview of what to expect from the auctions: http://www.dealdash.com/how-does-it-work DealDash has a 100% money back guarantee on your first bid pack purchase and a winning guarantee. If you decide to give DealDash a try and don't win an auction with your first bid pack we'll return the bids back to your account free for a second chance. If you're still not satisfied with your DealDash shopping experience we'll be happy to refund your first bid pack purchase no questions asked. You can even keep any bids in your account or items you have won. Giving DealDash a try is risk free!
Answer: Hi Jasmine. All items on the site are brand new, factory sealed and come with standard manufacturer’s warranties. Vanessa, I am very sorry to hear you have felt that way. Could you please let me know your user name and I'll pull up your account? I'll be happy to assist with any concerns!
Bid on auctions and save. All auctions start at $0 with no minimum price reserve. Everything must go! DealDash is the fair and honest bidding site. Founded in 2009, millions of bidders have enjoyed Deal Dash auctions since.
Hi Jessica, did you know we have a 100% money back guarantee on your first purchase? Just email our support team and we'll get that processed for you since you're not satisfied. We are very different than ebay. The collective effort of individuals buying bids help fund the highly discounted prices. Members are basically crowd funding to make this happen. Anyone that does not win can simply buy the item at normal retail price and get back their bids to try to win something else. This is a simple way to make the traditional shopping experience more fun.
