Easy to order and receive at your home or in store. Both shipping times are the same. Only part I wasn't too big on was it took almost 2 weeks to receive my package.
I'd been trying to find a rear storage rack for my rebel 500 that wouldn't interfere with the small one I already have attached. This one fits perfectly!
I've been a loyal customer of Cycle Gear for over 10 years, and I have always had positive experiences with your products and services. However, I recently had a frustrating interaction that I feel needs immediate attention.
I called in to change the size of a helmet I had just ordered, which I had placed less than an hour before the call. Unfortunately, the sales representative I spoke with was not helpful. Every time I asked a question, I was cut off, and when I inquired about the possibility of a return, the representative informed me that I would have to pay for it. This was disappointing, especially considering that I had just placed the order and called almost immediately to make the size adjustment.
While I am satisfied with the helmet itself, the overall customer service experience was far below the standard I've come to expect from Cycle Gear. This interaction was discouraging, and I believe it reflects the need for better training and communication for your sales representatives.
As a loyal customer, I would hate to take my business elsewhere, but I would appreciate it if you could review this situation and take the necessary steps to ensure that your representatives are trained to provide helpful, respectful, and customer-focused service.

Website promised tire shipping in 3-5 business days. Took 8 days to show up. Had to leave town and have a friend pick up and hold for me. Won't be using Cycle Gear again.
Be sure to know your size before you order. The return process is a bit long. It takes about 2 weeks for the package to get mailed back to them, and to get your return. Then you have to make the purchase again ( hopefully the correct size this time.) And wait for it to get shipped to you. Buy then, you needed it last week. And sometimes you have gone into A store and gotten what you needed.

Sorry, I don't recall the name of guy I was talking to but, he was very helpful. I came In looking for a visor but I left with a new shoei rf1400 it looked too good not to buy it. The overall experience was great and laid back I always go to cycle gear when I'm looking for new stuff.
Staff has always been attentive to my cost needs helping to find me the best value for my dollar. At times, leading me to something slightly more expensive so that I get what I need as well as what I want.
Solid customer service. They were able to install the new Cardo unit into my helmet which saved me the time of doing it myself and potentially messing it up.
Great customer service at the store and prompt delivery of the item not in store stock. Even received a discount to match a previous price no longer being offered.

Very clear, despite my old motorcycle having tire sizes that aren't commonly offered in matched pairs by most tire manufacturers.
The women's Gerbing vest fits well and has the right amount of heat under my riding jacket in 40 degree temps. So far have worn it for three all day rides on level 2 heat and have been toasty warm. Neck is a little too snug for comfort but with a gaiter on and keeping the neck warming portion tucked in, no complaints. Game changer for me riding in cold temps.
I paid for next day shipping. The boots did not come next day. The came next week, 6 business days after I ordered. Thank you for refunding my shipping costs but I can't trust if I order from you again and pay for next day shipping you will fulfill my order on time.

One of my favorite features in the website is the reviews and videos. There's a really good selection of products, and you guys make it easy to figure out which brand/model of product I want to buy.
I knowingly took a chance on boots that were a size larger than I typically wear. They we too big, CG did a return without any hassle. Much appreciate.

The ordering was a bit confusing I almost ended up with 2 back tires for my bike. But that got straightened out. The guys at the shop took care of everything except they were out of tubes. They got the tire mounted and balanced in just a few minutes. They were business oriented but casual. Thank you. I'll be back. Doug
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
