Custom Offsets

I ordered tires and wheels and a lift kit for my son's truck. After ordering the wheels without TPMS, I received a text from one of their sales reps, Alex. Alex told me that he noticed I did not purchase the TPMS. I advised Alex that the year and model was not equipped with TPMS and I did not need it. He then advised that Custom Wheel Offsets has an internal monitor that plugs into the DC outlet in the vehicle. I asked him again if this was part of the TPMS purchase and he advised yes. I bought the TPMS package only to find out that that Custom Wheel Offsets does not have an internal plug in monitor. After four phone calls to customer support I was advised that I would need to return the TPMS sensors for a refund and they would reimburse me $25 to remove the sensors. Based on other Google reviews and my experience I would advise to buy elsewhere. This place is a fly by night outfit that makes promises they cannot support. I am also still waiting on the lift kit that I purchased over a month ago and have been advised it will probably take 8 - 10 weeks for the manufacturer to ship it.

The ordering process was easy. The customer support has been excellent! I would definitely recommend custom offset!

Their online fitment guide was WAY off base and gave me wheels that made the rubber hit my upper control arm, and not just a little touch, I mean the tire was indented and you couldn't rotate them with your hands. I literally pulled forward and back in my driveway when I installed them to see how bad it was. A matter of feet! And they would not exchange or refund the wheels "because I drove on them", didn't hurt them, didn't even hurt the tires! I'm out a ton of money because of this dirt bag business! Because they have a terrible IT department who have no idea what the factory guidelines are for your car. Expensive lesson for me: I should have researched more but I chose to trust them! Hope it doesn't happen to you. Furthermore it takes forever to get your wheels and tires. I went to Performance Tire Plus for my replacements and they shipped the next day. Arrived literally 3 days later! Way better than the 6 weeks with these idiots. And yes after losing hundreds of dollars to these idiots because they can't even build an accurate website I'm going to help everyone I can through every resource I have for as long as it takes to keep them from making the mistake of using this company! Oh and bonus? They sold me "custom" spacers for hundreds of dollars that I've never recieved and they won't refund either. Funny part is I can't use the spacers even if they did show up because I would have to add bigger wheel studs and negate my 10 year warranty. I found all that out within a week but when I tried to cancel yet another mistake with this company they basically said that it sucks to be me because I didn't cancel within 72 hours. Don't make the mistake of trusting this dirt bag company. They will rip you off without remorse!

Ordered a set of American Force wheels back in August. Was told 2-10 week build time. Received no updates after 10 weeks so i started calling. Called 3 times as recently as 11/19/20. Each time being told wheels are 2 to 4 weeks out. To date its been over 14 weeks. Being wheels were build to order, order cant be canceled (understood). Asked about swapping wheels with a set of American Force wheels that their website shows in stock. I even offered to pay the difference for a more expensive wheel. They said they couldn't cancel my order because American Force wheels are made to order. I asked if American Force wheels are made to order then why do they list some models as in stock on their website? Checked website again. Still showing 8-10 week build time on their website for a polished wheel ( i ordered polished). Asked why their advertising is misleading. Was told its an error on their site that needs to be corrected. They offered a partial refund for inconvenience. Their partial refund is $100 for a $2400 set of wheels. Again. Misleading. I k ow the pandemic is slowing down things but not one update/email/call saying they were running way behind. Ive had to contact them each time. Even spoke to Jose in Customer Service who said he would have a representative call me back. I was never contacted. Very helpful in the beginning until they get your money. I just wanted what i payed for in the time frame i was told. Research this company before buying. Im not the only one. Attached pics from their website showing what they are advertising as current build times and the same brand wheel that they claim is built to order showing in stock on their website

I ordered a wheels and tire package on a Tuesday and had them at my doorstep by Thursday! Great experience I've only received from Custom Offsets.

This is a buyer-beware post. If you don't care about customer support or warranty support, then don't both reading, but if you do feel this is important, then buyer beware.

I purchased a set of rims for my SUV. I went to my local shop and had a fitment done and found I need to get rings for my rotors so I would not have vibration once they were installed. My shop installed the rims and immediately, I noticed the front vibrating at about 55 mph and above and could feel it severely in the steering wheel. I was concerned and brought it back to my shop. They rebalanced my tires and the issue persisted. My personal mechanic said that the vibration was indicative of the wheels, so that is why I had my other shop rebalance the tires. I had another shop rebalance and the issue persisted. We began the troubleshooting and the original shop moved the front tires to the back - crossing them and the backs to the front. The vibration moved from the steering wheel to the front seats. My guys said that this was definitely a rim issue. The tires were original factory tires and did not have a vibration on the original rims. I proceeded to have an alignment done and the results of alignment were negligible. My guys checked and rechecked my car and all parties said it was the rims. I provided all possible info to Custom Offsets -pics and shop reports...and Custom Offsets wants more. I've spent more than $200 to do rebalancing, alignments, etc. They do not support the customer, nor do they fight for their customers in such a ridiculous instance that should be a no-brainer to fix.

Do not be fooled - they will tell you they are just the middleman, but you are the customer and they should be supporting you not the manufacturer.

Wasn't really happy that I had to pay more money to have my tires rebalance again when I already paid you folks for it so I'm wondering if I could get compensated for it at least

Web Site states shipping to Laos, when requested a quote for a set of Wheels and Tires said they only ship to the nearest port, being Bangkok. I then had to find a way to get them from Bangkok to Laos, I found a shipping company in Laos that Quoted me $830. This was ok and I also accepted the Quote for the shipment from Custom Offset to Bangkok. Laos Shipping company then sent strict instruction to send the wheels to a certain port because of Thailand Custom rules on Car Parts. We could have done goods in transit through Thailand if the Instructions were followed. Instructions were sent to Custom Offset and they confirmed the instructions would be followed, once shipping documents were received this was obvious the Instructions were not followed and they sent the wheels to the wrong port in Thailand. Failure to follow these instructions now meant we had to clear customs in Thailand, Quote for $830 to send the Wheels from Bangkok to Laos now increased to $1800. Discussions with Custom Offset Admin said they do not cover any costs associated with Customs Duties, they also failed to recognize they shipped the wheels to the wrong port. I also asked if it would be possible for the wheels to arrive before the 12th Sept, they confirmed they would, Wheels arrived in Bangkok on the 17th Oct and in Laos on 21st Oct, Purchase Date was 5th Aug. Not impressed with their customer service.
