I almost had enough points after doing surveys to cash out for a $10 gift card. Did a 6 question survey about a pain medicine commercial and had emails from Crowdtap stating my answers had 'created a buzz'. Well, the next day I couldn't get into my account. Emailed their customer service and got an email back saying that my answers were irrelevant and I violated some code of conduct by not answering correctly and am blocked from the website. What?!?! So you don't like honest opinions about ads, why even offer for people to do them? My guess is that they don't want to pay up. I will not get my $10 that I spent a couple of weeks doing the pointless surveys for.
Crowdtap is 1 of my favorite sites to be on. You do simple task that give you points and then you can cash out for gift cards. They also have sample opportunities to were you get free stuff to try anything from makeup, cleaning supples, food etc.
I love using crowdtap I've been using the website for about a year now! They send me so much free things to try out and don't pressure me to making false reviews about items they just want my honest opinion on the items they send I always get full sized products and better yet they have a point system so you get points for using products and points for answering a few questions then you can redeem those points for gift cards! Win win definitely with checking out
Thanks for the pics, Virginia! Glad you enjoy Crowdtap so much!
I love crowdtap, this site is legit, you can win giftcards SO easily by just anwsering quick questions and adding up points, which add up so fast! Ive only been on crowdtap for about a month and am saving up my points almost have 20 dollar giftcard to claim! Plus i just got accepted to sample some full sized products! How awesome!
We're always happy to hear how much members enjoy Crowdtap, Mckenzy.
Had enough points for $30 then my account was deactivated and told its cause I didn't provide truthful answers! But it's also an automated response every time you open a ticket! Saying your account is deactivated and don't ask to get it reactivated! Waste of time!
I have been with Crowdtap for at least a year and I hae been enjoying taking their surveys. I wouldn't even call them surveys, they're more like questionairres about you. No one knows you better than yourself so just answer all the questions honestly and it will be a breeze. Because the questions will be repeated many times down the road to test your honesty. You will get a board with different colored squares worth different point values and on different topics. You only need 1000 points to cash out a $5 gift card, which I average about once a week. And that's only visiting the site every 2-3 days for 30-60 minutes to clear as many squares that are made available to me as I can. There's nothing complicated about it. It's real easy, laid back and enjoyable. You usually get your redemption the same day or next day. I belong to a lot of survey panels and this is one I really look forward to. It's a nice change of pace.
I've tried many sites that claim to give you free things/gift cards, but it would take forever or wouldn't happen at all. Crowdtap is an easy way to get samples of products that you then review, and earn points for gift cards (each question is worth 3-100 points and the point dedication seems random. 1000 points gets you a $5 gift card to Target, Amazon, Walmart, Ulta, or a few other places.) It's fun to do the surveys in downtime when you're watching TV or something. Easy free gift cards!
Thank you, Kenna, for your review!
I had been a member for over a year with absolutely no issues. It's great in the sense you just answer questions and get points very fast to redeem for giftcards. Just recently got banned for no reason they said it was a mistake and reinstated me within a day I was banned again this time for short answers but they went ahead and got me back on the site, this time because I had pending rewards I answered no questions just waited and did receive 2 of the 3 rewards promised before getting kicked off again for no reason. I was told they couldn't do anything to help me this time although once was a mistake second short answers third who knows why. Just realize it's nice while it last but will not last over a year or 2.
I reached 4,000pts to receive a $20.00 Sephora gift card which I put in to claim it two days ago and still haven't received it. So what do they do next? They block me from posting on their Facebook page plus disable my account now. Talk about a sham!
Hi Heidi, Thank you for your feedback, and we apologize for your frustration. We try to make Crowdtap® a fun and fair experience for all, which means we regularly review account activity and take necessary quality control measures. We'll be sending you a private message in Sitejabber shortly to collect information about your Support Request so we can escalate the issue and get you a response faster.
I've been a member of Crowdtap.com for well over a year now! I have received several free items to review, including the newest one which was Gogo SqueeZ BlasZ! My kids and all our neighbor kids just loved it! We left an amazing review! Even when you're not getting free stuff, you're earning points for just giving your opinion and those points become gift cards! I've received over $100 in Amazon Gift Cards! Crowdtap is the best!
Thank you for that review, Sheina. We love hearing how much our community enjoys Crowdtap!
I have joined crowd tap just few months back and You can earn points by filling questionire though questions do take time. But its sure you will get free stuff and some gift cards for amazon or sephora and many more. If you have time give it a shot. Try using crowd tap. This will provide you info on new products as well.
Expect to be banned from the site when you are very close to cashing out your points. It happened to me recently and no explanation was given. I believe it's because I publicly questioned their business practices on Facebook. Much like Nazi Germany, if you question their regime you'll get eliminated. At one point the site was allowing other user to "moderate" photos I submitted. A lot of the users were nasty and rude when they moderated my photos. Users also would make rude comments on Facebook posts that had nothing to do with them. They were questions for the people than ran the site and random people would make the nastiest comments on them for no apparent reason. The creators and users of this site are ruder and snobbier than any survey site I've ever been on. That's fine if they want to block me. Good riddance! I don't want the negativity from Crowdtap in my life anymore.
Although we wish it weren't the case, there are instances when profiles are banned and we take great care before taking that step. We abide by the regulations of our Terms of Service, specifically in this case, sections 4.7 and 4.8, with the intention of being able to reward and support the Crowdtap community members as a whole. We do offer an appeals process (humans do err), but depending on the specific cause of a profile's banning (i. E., evidence of duplicated accounts, accounts created and/or used outside Crowdtap’s allowed territories), that may affect whether or not you hear back from us. Please see our FAQ with further details on this topic: https://bit.ly/2CM5tX9.
I've been with crowdtap for several years and their system flags my account for no reason often. I tried to redeem 3 gift cards after saving up and the next time I tried logging in, I was blocked.
I put in a support request and generally, they understand their system erroneously flagged my account. However, I spoke with "Richard" who was very unhelpful and incredibly condescending to me. He was not understanding and refused to pass my ticket on to someone who had the authority to review the flag. Seemed like Richard didn't want to do his job and just copy/pastes " we will look into it" but stick with the account deactivation.
I tried explaining the gift card redemption may have flagged my account and he proceeded to say that explaining myself just results in another ban? This guy needs retraining or needs to be fired with how he is making up rules and being rude.
Hi Tammy, We'd like to investigate this further and look into why your account was disabled. Please send us a private message on Sitejabber with your Support Request # so we can escalate with our team.
I was shocked to see my account disabled when I was close to a reward after 3 weeks of doing surveys? I am contacting the NYS Attorney General's Office and filing a complaint. I feel this group is possible a front for gathering personal information for criminal intentions. I will let my taxes dollars investigate. Maybe they should understand that integrity matters. I also plan to contact many companies that they use to gather their product information.
Gary K.
Hi Gary, We appreciate your feedback and apologize for your frustration. We'll be sending you a private message shortly to find out if you've contacted our Support team, so we can escalate this issue for you to get you a resolution as soon as possible.
I came across Crowdtap.com late last year, I love this site. I have a back issue that makes it hard for me to work a normal job. So I look for ways to earn a bit of money and bring in items we can use in our household. Crowdtap.com is so easy to use, the pages are not cluttered, can navigate quickly. Daily I log in and answer quick, short surveys to earn points to redeem for gift cards, I have earned 2 Amazon gift cards so far and recently received a box of 3 full sized bottles of shampoos and condition to try and review. Wow, I'm impressed and delighted to be part of this cool community.
I'm so glad that I found this website about a year ago. Since then I've gotten the opportunity to try lots of different products and to give my opinion on those products. I recently received packs of GoGo Squeez to try with the kids and that has greatly impacted my chance of purchasing them again.
Hello, Lorraine! So glad you enjoyed your recent sample.
I don't get to sample as much stuff as I would like but when I do get chosen it's like Christmas for me. I love trying items I might otherwise never get to try. I think this site it fun. I hope they start having lots more samples. I would also like them to stop asking for selfies or photos of myself in every mission. For someone who hates having their picture taken that's the only downside.
Hello, Misty and thank you for leaving a review for us. We appreciate that. Yes, brands frequently want to see photos for their research purposes, but we're glad that's all you see as a downside. :)
Crowdtap is my favorite site to fill out surveys. The questions are fast, easy and interesting. Points are easy to earn and I learn about new things to try. Today, I received two very interesting full size body wash samples to try. I immediately washed my hands with one; and it is the most amazing smell and makes my skin feel good and so clean. I love that on Crowdtap I don't have to invest long periods of time answering redundant questions, only to be disqualified close to the end of survey.
I've been a member of Crowdtap for a little over three years. I love how easy it is to earn Gift Cards on Crowdtap. The tasks are simple and I usually do my "tapping" at night while I am relaxing and watching TV. It does take 1000 points to redeem for a $5 gift card and will take some time to get those points but after the recent website update, I've noticed I get more points and more tasks and I have been redeeming my points a little quicker than I used too. I'm happy with that!
We're really glad you're enjoying your "tapping at night" and redeeming points for rewards, Debbie!
Well, I have been a member for quite a few months now and they decided to shut down my account yesterday because I have been logging in at work. They also shut down two other people in my office. I explained to support that our server is based in another state but they do not care. The funny thing is that they shut it down right after I cased out for another gift card. I hear they are doing that to a lot of people these days. You have been warned! You might spend a week answering questions, only to get shut down when you go to cash out.
Answer: You are not compensated for anything. You earn points. The points get you entries in contests. You could win just like you COULD win the lottery. You do not earn points that you can cash into gifts card or money. Remember this. Many times people who work for the company will do reviews on sites like this to make the company look good.
Answer: If you don't answer questions their way you're getting kicked off with no explanation or a response. And they will keep whatever points you have earned. They purposely ignore your emails. Sinister.
Crowdtap has a rating of 2.4 stars from 348 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Crowdtap most frequently mention gift card, customer service and enough points. Crowdtap ranks 10th among Survey sites.
Thanks for your review, Candy!
