I've been using Crowdtap for several years now. I fill out surveys and they send me gift cards; my favorites are Uber and Burger King, but they offer lots more. I've never had any problem with them. You won't get rich but it's really nice to earn $5 or $10 here and there for surveys that are easy to fill out (and sometimes kind of interesting). If a friend asked me to recommend survey sites, Crowdtap would be in the top 3.
I signed up for Crowdtap last night and answered surveys for a good while before going to sleep, then woke up to find my account was disabled and no one can give me a reason why. What a waste of time! I've read that this happens a lot with this site, so I'll be sticking with Branded Surveys and YouGov from now on. I've never had a problem with those sites.

Tip for consumers:
This is a survey site, it’s not selling anything but promises rewards for answering surveys.
They will disable your account for any reason under the sun and not tell you why. They keep your earnings too. I had to stop in the middle of a survey to attend to my sick cat. When I came back to the survey to finish it the survey was closed. I contacted support about my disabled account and the only reply they can give is scripted, you violated the tos. I have been with crowdtap for years and have earned hundreds in gift cards so why would I consciously voluntarily violate the tos and forfeit a way to earn future gift cards. Do not waste your time with this site because they will rip you off.
I took mytime, answered honestly... and get disabled for no reason. No response when attempting to find out why. It seems they just arbitrarily decide you are being dishonest or going too fast... or whatever.

Crowdtap is great at first, then after a while they disable your account for no reason. This has happened to me multiple times most recently on April 4,2024.I had over a 50 day streak and had used my points for a Wal-Mart gift card a few days before that I haven't received.Seems they always pull this right before or right after you use your points for a gift card. They give some lame reason and never explain. They seem to just make up a reason and disable your account when you make a little bit or use your points often.I have been a member since 2018 and this has happened 6 or 7 times and they gave me my account back all the other times but so far this time they have not.My advice would be cash out as soon as you can because sooner or later they are gonna disable your account and screw you out of your earnings.
Tip for consumers:
You're probably better off using a different site.
I was a member since 2018.Several times during that time as I was getting close to enough points to get a $20 gift card they would disable my account so I would contact support and they would say it was done by mistake.December 21,2022 I tried to sign in and it said they were having issues so I tried again later and it said my account was banned, conveniently just as I'm about to have enough points for a $20 gift card.I contacted support and was told I wouldn't be getting my account back because I had violated the terms of service or community guidelines which I have not done.Perhaps the person from support that emailed me back is just lazy and banning people because I see alot of people on Facebook having been told the same thing by them.I filed a.complaint with the Better Business Bureau but it probably won't do any good.I would suggest cash out as soon as you can because eventually they will ban you for no reason and steal your earnings.

These people are in trouble they don't take out Federal and State Taxes and I am calling the labor union on them there going to pay us survey workers not the members they already get paid and whoever is running the end for the e gift card there will be a change to where they will be putting people's money on PayPal and or get a Visa Gift card for there pay people need to be bringing home $500-$1,000 a week taking those surveys support can but out of it I am frankly just tired of them and they lie too the staff does for support I got the CEO's information too to contact him his name is Matt Britton I will attach his information I am calling him this is enough.
Tip for consumers:
Everyone is encourage to contact the labor union and the US DOL on this company to report support and no one cares about there members this about us survey workers.
I have been contributing to Crowdtap for many years! Now they deactivate my account with over 30,000 points. Telling me the following: In order for Crowdtap to remain capable of rewarding members for their honest engagement, we will always vigilantly monitor behavior on our platform. Based on the above, your account cannot be reactivated. I've reached out to support again without any response. Contributors beware and cash out before they screw you too.
They disabled my account
For no reason. When I tried to contact customer service support by email for the past two weeks they have not responded back to me. I have sent several emails under high priority and nobody gets back to me so basically I give them one star. It was a good app while it was working but then after that I'm not so much I don't recommend people using this app because eventually they will do the same to you
I have been a member of crowdtap for a while now. I recently had my account disabled and contacted customer support. They told me that my account would not be reinstated but did not give me a reason. I answered survey questions to the best of my ability but prior to my account being disabled I had an error with a survey that could not be skipped. I'm angry because I spent a lot of time answering surveys and had accumulated 15.00 that I cannot retrieve. They need to change their policy and at least explain their reasoning for disabling accounts. I wrote to them a second time and have not received a response.
Had enough points for $30 then my account was deactivated and told its cause I didn't provide truthful answers! But it's also an automated response every time you open a ticket! Saying your account is deactivated and don't ask to get it reactivated! Waste of time!

I would of easily gave it ZERO stars but they make you rank 1. Definitely a scam. You need to earn 1000 pts to receive a $5 gift card but they conveniently let you get to even 989 pts then make you wait DAYS to reach their goal. They waste your time while they record and use your input and feedback for their surveys and yea they benefit more from you than you will ever benefit from them.
Tip for consumers:
Here's a tip, DON'T USE CROWDTAP
Very disappointing, got almost 4000 points and all of a sudden deactivate my account for dishonest answers which is completely false! I feel so violated for him being very personal information and then be called a liar!

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!
I've spent months racking up points, little by little, only for my account to be conveniently disabled when I reached enough points for a $20 reward. Contacting support gave me no information as to why whatsoever, except that I violated their terms and of course, not which ones, and essentially cheerfully told me to buzz off. I really could have used that tiny bit of money.
The end of the email in the photo reads "Thanks for choosing Crowdtap and have a great day!" Yes. I'm having a great day. I love trying to be civil and reasonable only to get cheated out of rightfully what I earned. (Note my sarcasm.)
If you earn anything, just cash it out immediately. Please. Don't let them do this to you too.
Tip for consumers:
Use your points as soon as you get them, so they can't take them away from you.

I was going to submit my points for gift cards, but was unable.
Be truthful like me and get disabled for good after a year or two of giving thoughtful truthful answers about my company business finances
When you are using the site, it is low paying but effective. However, they will ban you randomly. I was banned twice.
Once they admitted was a mistake.
The second time they said my response was unhelpful when asked, ""What products similar to this new potential brand do you currently use?" Your response reads: "I don't use anything like this." I don't believe this response is worthy of a ban and I'm not sure how else I could have responded honestly.
Unless you want to submit responses and risk getting banned for no reason, I can't recommend this site to anyone.
Tip for consumers:
Don't use it.

Hi Eric, You should have received a response from our Support team indicating what responses prompted your account to be deactivated. We've reactivated your account so you can use Crowdtap. Please let us know if you have any questions by replying to the Support ticket you received!
I love this app! It's easy and fun. I enjoy doing these surveys and look forward to them. Also the extra gift cards are certainly a plus
Hi my name is Jennifer I am grateful to Crowdtap and what they have done for me but a few weeks ago my account was disabled without any reason and so far the support has not wanted to do anything for me just reject my request and I have already been answered by several people and it seems that they are bot because their responses are automated and are very groceries on their part especially Ms. Betty S.
This website has so many quick and easy reviews that just takes very few minutes to take. I cannot give 5 whole stars (but would 4.5 if it was an option) because I have gotten only one of three products asked to review so far. So they just need to work on that process. Once they do, I can definitely give this company 5 stars. The product that I received so far to review were full size products. And they have very clear instructions on what you need to do to leave an honest review. I do recommend this service.
Mostly kinda short surveys and interesting ones fast pay out only up two days earn money very fast surveys
I'm incredibly frustrated with my experience trying to sign up for Crowdtap's app. The verification code they were supposed to send me never arrived, making it impossible for me to complete the registration process. This reflects very poorly on Crowdtap's competence and reliability. It's incredibly disappointing that they can't even get a basic step like sending a verification code right.
For an app that relies so heavily on user engagement, it's mind-boggling that they haven't ensured a smooth and trouble-free sign-up process. This experience not only wasted my time but also made me question the app's overall quality and whether they truly value their users. In a world filled with alternatives, first impressions are crucial, and Crowdtap has completely botched theirs in my case.
On top of the verification code problem, I found Crowdtap's helper "Tappy" to be utterly useless. It kept suggesting articles to read, but none of them were even remotely helpful in addressing my issues. It's frustrating to see an AI-driven helper completely miss the mark and fail to understand my actual questions.
I had hoped that Tappy would provide some guidance or solutions, but it seemed incapable of comprehending my concerns. It's clear that Crowdtap has a long way to go in terms of improving their user support features. If an AI helper can't even offer relevant assistance, it raises serious doubts about the company's commitment to providing meaningful help to its users.
Overall, my experience with Tappy only added to my frustration and disappointment with Crowdtap's app. It's another aspect that showcases the app's lack of user-focused design and effective support mechanisms. If they can't even get their AI helper to be helpful, it's hard to have confidence in their ability to address more complex user issues.
To sum it up, my attempt to join Crowdtap through their app has been an incredibly frustrating and disappointing ordeal. Their failure to deliver a simple verification code and their lackluster customer support have left me with a negative view of the app and the company behind it. I hope they take these issues seriously and improve their processes, but for now, I can't recommend anyone else to go through what I've experienced.
Transparency lacking. If an account has been deactivated, I was informed that we are unable to site specifics due to security reasons. That they standby their security software to detect and/or flag certain accounts. Therefore, you're unable to verify that you're in violation of their terms of service and/or no recourse of action. But good to know for future and discerning credibility of products and/or businesses soliciting real reviews, etc.
This used to be a great site, I had used it for YEARS with no issues and suddenly my account was deactivated. Almost everyone I have spoken to have also had their accounts deactivated. I speculate they are using AI to "check" answers and its obviously not accurate.
I was simply told my account didn't pass their "security check"
I have been doing crowd tap for a week and enjoying it a lot… UNTIL I cashed my points out for $20 gift card the next day they deactivated my account and I didn't know why until they said I violated terms and conditions …but how then told me I had multiple accounts. In which I don't and now they won't send my shift card because it was deactivated which is $#*! bc I cashed out the day before they kicked me off! Watch out for these scammers!
Tip for consumers:
You will get kicked off, 2 friends of mine where kicked off as well for nothing
Please respond to my ticket that I have summited, I just created a new email address so it can be added to my crowdtap account and remove the old one that is still on there so I can redeem gift cards to be sent to my new email address it's on there with the ticket I summited to crowdtap support with the email address at mscurvymichelle36@********** and don't respond to the email address at michellejohnson36**********
