My dress was too small the sizing was off and I needed to return it

Please review all of the complaints on the Better Business Bureau's website before purchasing anything from them. I must say this is by far the worst online experience I have ever encountered. I actually had to seek legal counsel because of how my purchase was handled. Please make sure that you read all of the fine print on their website because they will try to use it against you instead of doing the right thing. I bought a $340 dress, paid $30 for 3 day shipping, when the dress did not arrive by the expected date, I contacted customer support and was told that the order could not be cancelled but that I could return it once the dress arrived. When the dress arrived 3 days after the event, I contacted support and was issued a return reference number and sent the dress back untouched and paid an additional $30 return shipping. When the dress was noted as returned by support, they offered me a store credit. I requested a full refund based on the circumstances and was told in so many words that although I chose 3 day shipping I should have read their shipping policy that discussed processing time in a complete other section of the website. Nonetheless, I filed a dispute and PayPal and PayPal ruled in their favor because of the fine print that they referred to. I disputed again and PayPal ruled in their favor again. Here is the kicker, because I disputed the transaction a second time they charged me a 50% reactivation fee of my store credit which means I would receive a store credit of $147.18. After speaking to my lawyer he suggested I ask them to send me the dress back and call it even, they refused to send me the dress. So I basically paid for a dress that I never touched, was penalized for disputing the transaction, then was not obliged to receive the merchandise that I had already paid for. Terrible, terrible company. Please think twice before buying from them—It will be my life's work to expose them based on the principal of the matter and terrible customer service. I will be filing a claim in smalls claims court-wasting more money to do this, posting reviews of their company wherever I am able, and I will also keep trying to get the news to investigate.

My first time straying away from the usual. Macys nordstroms etc to find a gown. Truly wish I had gone with my gut feeling and not bothered. I guess I'm looking at losing 250 dollars to these people. I knew when I bought that if I returned the dress it would be store credit only. Ok I accept that but they deliberately appear to delay contact with you until the noted 5 day window has passed. (obviously to Add some percentage of the dress cost as a fine)
They seem to be all over the place with return time deadlines. A moving goal post
They have finally after 4 days of me not giving up sent me an email letting me know they will send me an email with the return auth number... why didnt they just send it in that email. I really don't have a good feeling about this.
And 4 days later I'm still waiting for the mythical return number.
I guess that they hope I just give up and go away Btw I get the feeling there is something shady going on here with the dresses. Are they fakes idk but why wouldn't they let you return a gown if they are real from real manufacturers.

I think if these are the real dresses then Couture Candy is basically a drop ship middle man, because the latest news on my return number so I can send this stupid badly fitting dress back, is now apparently something they are waiting on from the manufacturer
