Used our Free Roku promo code to watch AmeriGeddon with the family and it WAS NOT THE SAME MOVIE. Seemed to be some type of C class cheesy porno. Wow. Just wow. We are not even going to try and use our other 2 "free promo codes". Totally disappointed as a first time user.
I made 2 gift card purchases from Best Buy. The first one was fine the first use of the second one was fine, but when I went back it would not accept my order without my current credit card information. It was a $4.99 rental with an $18.49 credit. The idea of a gift card was so I didn't have to give out my CC information. After contacting them they said they couldn't help me so unless I want to give them my info I have to wave bye bye to my money. THIS IS NOT RIGHT!
Cinemanow was once a great service when it was owned by Bestbuy. The new owners of Cinemanow suck. The service, the website sucks. I cannot get my library to load, i cannot get my ultraviolets to properly load my owned movies. Cinemanow is CACA!. You are better off using VUDU.

Used them for close to four years then they stopped working. Promised via emails for months the "technical issues was being worked on" but I am ready for class action.
You can't rent movies from this site, the site continues to ask for additional information and they don't have phone or chat support. I'd go anywhere to rent a movie other than CinemaNow.
I received email giving me three HD movies free as a new Roku customer. I have spent two hours cursing and running up and down the stairs to get new activation codes because YOU CANNOT REGISTER FOR CINEMANOW! I get a pink! Every time I try to enter my password. When I try to reset it, it sends me yet another email link telling me my username is my email which starts the vicious cycle all over again as it reads "you may need to use a username rather than email" and gives me pink error notices every time I enter a password. After several attempts it just reads SYSTEM ERROR. After reading the reviews here, I am glad we did not rent anything as I would be REALLY angry if I had to PAY for this madness. I simply won't use this site on my Roku. Too bad as Roku does not have up to date movies. :( My dinner is cold, my temper is up and I only relieved that none of this cost me anything but my time and a hot meal.
Stay away from them. They are a joke. You cannot play movies you purchased. Their customer service is laughable. Totally worthless. No person to person contact.
Can never play titles - always server error 551. Or it constantly unlinks with my device and I have to deactivate. Always some problem and can't call for support. Worse thing ever.

I CinemaNow used to be a great product one of those owned by Best Buy now the movies never play and I paid a lot of money free movies that I can't even play so whoever this new company is that purchased it from Best Buy they need to get off the stick and fix the problem or there should be a class action lawsuit against this company
I had my entire collection of movies on here. I went to watch something on my Samsung smart tv and the app basically disappeared. I'm out so much money. Something has to be done about this.
For months I could not play back my purchased movies and now my library is empty. What happen? How do we get our movies back?

Tried to enter a coupon Code I was emalid and you can't watch the movie. It doesn't play. But it did accept my credit card on file to play the movie. How convenient. Scammed
I have had the most worst experience with Cinema now! If anyone is think of renting from this movie company, you best keep a close eye on you credit card. 3 times I have been charged for movies that say they are unavailable or don't load. Then when this does happen you have to go to your bank, get a statement and uploaded to a case number they provide you. When that's done you have to wait 5-10 business days to gt a refund after they review it. But that's not the final thing if they feel like giving you a code for everything they gave put you through, you best make sure that its not charging you credit card. Because it has happened to me also. Got the code and then they say, sorry it should work. Then you try everything they ask you iPad, computer, ps3 and it still doesn't work. They will say we are sorry try again later. But then you call you credit card to learn you coupon code has some how charged your credit card. Then you get to go back to the bank get a new statement and resend it. Now your not just waiting to get refunded from the first time, but the second also. Then you call and are told the supervision is to busy to speak with you. I have learned my lesson after today and thought I would let everyone know to say them pain I am going through now.
