All of my purchases from this website were great purchases. In 2016 I blender and coffee maker both of which are still operational. 2020 I purchased aDelongi convection oven still operational and in 2021 I purchased a knife sharpener, a boning and slicing/carving knife and a food processor and never had a problem with any of these purchases. I am sorry to know that my fellow consumers have had so many bad experiences
I used to buy a lot of equipment from them from 2020 to 2022 in spring. They always delivered and replaced broken items, if needed. My last order was Nov 22 and the stuff never arrived. In Jan 2023 I tried contacting them and found out, they went out of business. The credit card charge was easy to get back. I wonder what happened, they used to be my #1 store for hight quality kitchen items. Good prices also.

I used all the ones they did ship. Pots, waffle iron, espresso mashine, lots of emile henry bakers for my business. All were in immaculate condition and are still working
Delivery service is un acceptable. I contacted them and I got a ticket. They mentioned that the delay was due to the Covid. Bull$#*!. Two days after I ordered something from their companies, the other companies sent my order for delivery from Post Canada. I was not aware of the reviews of the other customers complaining of the services they received but I learnt from my experience. I will never order from this company in the future.
Charged $35 return fee to ship a $100 item. Terrible. Why would I buy from you again... oh right... I won't.
I ordered a Danish Ebelskiver pan from the Cookstore. This was my first experience ordering from them and I felt confident that this Canadian store would deliver as promised. To cut a very long story short, I spend weeks and weeks following up on the order, which was backordered. Even after the backorder time had passed, there was no sign of the pan. After getting many "non responses" from the reps, I asked to speak to a Manager. This Manager very coolly told me that pan had been discontinued. She did not at all seem regretful of the fact that I had received such a runaround. Plus, the fact that my credit card had been debited for quite some time did not seem to matter. She told me my credit card would be refunded (which it was) and a brief insincere sorry came from her. How unprofessional and discourteous of the Cookstore! I have decided NEVER or order anything from them again.

So far so good on the accessories ordered for my Ooni Pro. Now if I can only get the oven to actually use them it would be 5 stars!
Selection is good. Product does not ship within outlined shipping on the website. Impossible to get in touch with anyone in customer service. Email notifications are conflicting - delayed shipping, product out of stock, promising to email when product is shipped, and then order turns up with no notice. Pricing is not bad but not the least expensive and adding in he frustration of trying to get information, I would have rather paid more for better service.
I ordered an item and was promised a follow up email with a shipping date and tracking number. I waited a week and no email. I contacted customer service and did not receive a satisfactory answer. I requested a refund to my credit card and they did not reply. Something very, very wrong with the Cookstore! Making matters worse is you cannot contact them by telephone.
I ordered some pans from here on a Black Friday deal (hint: they are not actual black friday deals, just regular deals rebranded during black friday). Placed order on Nov 28, no items were listed as backordered or out of stock. Dec 8, I get an automated message saying, among other things: "We wanted to take a moment to just let you know that we have not forgotten about your order, unfortunately one of the items you purchased has been delayed but we are hard at work with our supplier to get the product delivered ASAP." They also throw out a generic COVID-19 excuse. No other retailer (5+) I have used in the past 3 months had any more shipping delays than usual.
I wrote back by email to demand they send whatever items are in stock, or I will seek a refund for the excessive delays. It is now Dec 21 and I have heard nothing from them. Three weeks later and a human has not reached out, and the items have not shipped.
Ordered two items and after chasing for 18 days I tried to cancel. Magically, my order was in shipping and not able to cancel anymore. Magic. Sorry to the other customer that probably had their product re-directed to my order to prevent the cancellation. Or, it isn't really going to ship and I'll have to chase that. Back to Amazon. Tried to support a Canadian company, but this is not worth it.
Charge you right from the get go. Claim they have the stock but keep saying 2-4 weeks, can hold that statement for months. Does not publish bad review on the website as shown in the picture below. This is a review that i posted on november 15th 2021. I finally had to ask for reimbursement.
Ordered a coffeemaker $299.00 reg and $50.00 off. After 5 weeks and never even out for delivery, I cancelled. Money which they took on ordering was refunded. Other than that I would have given a one star. Then found exact same coffeemaker on Amazon for $199.00. Bonus.
I ordered a bread machine. I got a confirmation email, and they took the money from my account. The email said I would get a confirmation email when shipped. 2 weeks later I called to find out why it hadn't shipped. Ohhh. It's gone to the shipping dept today. I got confirmation email that afternoon, but it still took another 10 days to arrive. The product is good, but almost 4 weeks isn't worth the $20 I saved over buying on Amazon with 2 day shipping. Will never buy from them again.

The first time was normal a five star experience.
The last order never arrives. I e-mail 3 times and call 3 times.
Only the 1st time someone replied to me that there will be a 3-6 b-days delay.
