On Dec 14th made my contact order and the lenses were stated as 'In Stock' at that time. 5 days later on Dec 19th, I received an email stating "Your contact lenses have been ordered directly from the manufacturer. Normally, lenses such as yours are received in-house within four business days. At this time however it appears that the manufacturer is experiencing a production delay". 10 days after that email, on Dec 29th, an email came saying they were shipped, ultimately delivered to me on Dec 31st. My issues are as follows: listing an item as "in stock" if it truly is NOT, waiting 5 days after purchase to notify the customer that the 'In Stock' item actually isn't at all in stock and additionally is delayed from the manufacturer due to what 'appears' to be a production delay. Manufacturing issues are out of your hands, and I get that, but listing an item as 'In Stock' on your website is misleading. I decide which site to order my contacts from based on 2 things: Price listed and whether the contacts are in stock.

Which we do our best to relay those messages the same day we receive that information. However, looking into your order I see you were prescribed the Transition lenses which is stated on our website under the product availability: order normally ship within 1-2 business days. That indicates they are not in stock and need to be ordered directly for the manufacturer. Again, I sincerely apologize for the manufacturer delay and any inconveniences that may have caused.
