When first boot order didn't show up, I called and was told they were backordered, so I changed my order. Two weeks later, I called to check on order and THOSE supposedly are backordered. They had my PayPal payment the whole time. I think the whole site is a scam. Seriously.
I ordered 2 pair of jeans on 4/25/18. Issues were:
1) I never was notified until after I ordered that they were on back order.
2) I was charged immediately via PayPal.
3) I received a different order number in another email the next day.
4) Neither order numbered worked to check the order status online.
5) I called 5/17/18, waited on hold 20+ minutes, and was assured that the order would go out the next day.
6) I received yet another email/invoice on 5/18/18 with yet another order number.
7) I called 5/25/18 (one month!) waited on hold 20+ minutes, and was assured that the order would go out the next day.
I count 11 customer service mistakes, so far... I'm canceling the order ASAP.
I recently ordered 3 Carhartt t shirts in which they only had 2 in stock. So they quickly refunded my money on the one and within a week i recieved the other two shirts. I was very pleased at the way they handled the order. I will definitely order more in the near future. Quick service and accurate accounting of my order gets this company an A.
SeparatelyI ordered 2 pair of $#*!ie black jeans & a jacket for my husband (separately). When I checked on the tracking of the jeans, first it said they had shipped. Next day I checked again to see where they were & I got an "oops we can find your order #" message. I was confused, so I emailed you all & apparently it was a glitch somewhere. The customer service person that wrote me back said that she was showing it was shipped. I checked again & it was. The 3 items I ordered came on the same day which was GREAT! They fit perfectly as well & he's happy!

Wanted to order a product online and get product in a certain amount of time. So I opt to pay for quicker shipping. So the next day I find that it is on back order for the full amount. Even though it would not make it in the time I ordered it for. So they have tied my money up for nothing. Will never order anything from them ever! Order canceled now have to want for money release.
Very upset that the delivery service took much longer than expected. Order left you on December 11th and didn't arrive until December 26th! After Christmas! However, the gloves were excellent and the recipients were very happy with their gifts.

Terrible company to deal with. I paid extra for 3 day shipping for xmas. Ordered on the 15th and still nothing. When I called they had no information for me and would not cancel the order... I am calling the bbb and my bank. Do not order from them... Horrible
Purchased an item from Constructiongear.com and selected their economy shipping. Two and a half weeks later, I received an email that I had received a credit in amount of original purchase. I called customer service, waited 15 mins to talk to someone and was simply informed that the item was not available ("was discontinued by Carthartt"). Had I not called, I wouldnt even have had this bogus explanation. Not offered any compensation for my time or frustration. Hung up and purchased the exact item from another site. Will not purchase again from this seller. They are advertising items they do not have, and do not stand behind their sales.
I placed an order on 19 December for a pair of Carhartt gloves and received free shipping. I received a conformation e-mail on the same day that listed the status as "Pending Shipping." Today, on 3 January, the status is the same and I have received no response to my e-mail requesting a status. A phone call to the toll-free number resulted in a response that the item had left the warehouse and should be shipped.
I paid $3 extra to have my name imprinted on the hardhat, and I had to do it myself! I couldn't get all the stickers to stick, only got my first name. I expected if I paid $3 extra, it would be imprinted on there for me! And I had to call to get my order shipped to me! I waited about 2 weeks, and I still had nothing... just a charge on my bank account. I'll never do business with you again! Scott Harris
I use Constructiongear for my work needs. Good prices and quick shipping. I have been using them for years and plan to continue to use for years to come. They always have a good selection of whatever I am looking for.
I purchased the all-weather socks from Wigwam, wool socks from Carhartt, and the Carhartt gloves. All were true to size and durable. The gloves by far were the best for the cost. I drive a school bus for a living and often the truck takes a while to warm up during the winter months of the early northern Illinois mornings. My feet and hands stay warm and dry as I am in and out during vehicle checks and loading wheelchairs.
Ordered a pair of blaklader work pants. The website said they were in stock, 2 weeks later they are on backorder! A week and a half ago they arrived at their wearhouse and they would take 4 days to show up. Still waiting! Why the eff would I order pants that are out of stock? Do not order anything from this website unless you want to wait for 4 weeks to get it!
They advertise products that they don't have. After you make payment, they send you what they do have, and never do inform you of the products that aren't coming. If YOU contact them, they will notify you that the products which they took money for are never coming. At that point, you are offered a refund.
Their workwear is very comfortable. I've got myself two brown cargo pants in size 50. Just reliable work pants that do not make me wider. The price could be lower, but still okay for a working man.
I was not happy with coustomer service. I forgot to put my coupon code on my order so I emailed coustomer service to see if they could add to my order. I was ordering 8 pairs of wook boots for my guys. I sent a response to their email and never heard back from them. I did this twice with no response. I have ordered in the past and never had an issue.

I got them strictly as work pants but now I'm torn between making them just my dress jeans, I love the look of the denim and style of the pants. I have worked in them to see if theyd hold up and did some light powerlifting in them to see how mobile I'd be in them and they passed. I'd highly recommend them but you might want to order 2 in case you end up like me and enjoying them as dress jeans as well as work pants. All in all they are perfect for construction work
What is wrong with this company? If any other online retailer took this long to ship your order, they would be closing up shop in no time. I ordered some safety glasses and gloves; it's been 23 days and still have not received them. They emailed me saying that 1 of my items is backordered and asked if I would like the other items. What a stupid question, OF COURSE I WANT MY ITEMS! They have great prices and that is why I shop there, but I didn't realize it takes months to get anything. It shouldn't take a month just to get safety glasses and gloves!
I ordered a pair of pants on Jan 13th. They arrived Jan 20th. They were too tight so I sent them back the very next day, Jan 21st, to exchange for the next bigger size. Two weeks went by and I never got any kind of email confirmation that they had sent the new ones or anything. I had sent 2 emails in the meantime to their customer service asking about the order. I have yet to get any response to either of these emails. I called on Feb 3 (2 wks after I sent them back). I was told they had just processed them and it could take up to 2 wks to send out the next pair. It has now been 2 more weeks and I still have no pants. It has been 5 weeks.
