Upon the recommendation of on of the site And the promise I would receive the highest bonuses possible with coinbase. On June 30 th, I decided to deposit 50.00'to see what would happen. Well, nothing happened. Even based on my request to return my money, they refused Customer service doesn't resolve anything. Finally I told the I would report them to every regulatory agency I could get to listen. Worked somewhere I. Received 43.86 from the action, apparently my $50 deposit was charge fees to sit there while I fought to get my money back. Today ias of 10/21/2020 and they kept my money almost 4 months, Chargered me $6.14 (12.28%). To keep my money. DON NOT TRUST THIS SITE.

They duplicated the withdrawal from my bank into Coinbase, and the second withdrawal did not even sure up in the Coinbase transaction detail on my account, even thought the total cash there was the sum of the two transactions that appeared in my bank statement. I asked support to explain that, and they regurgitated what they saw on my account (which I had sent them as a screenshot.) That is, they described what I was already seeing. I wrote back, indicating they had not explained why the duplication occurred and why it did not appear in their transaction detail. They simply repeated the same thing they'd already said - just indicating what to look for the total, etc. I tried a total of 4 times to get a real answer, and finally they stopped responding. 5 days later I got an email that my support ticket had been resolved and the case closed. Customer support is non-existent!
I should add that I had deleted my linked bank account after I first noticed the problem - in case their system attempted to perform another random ACH against my bank.

My Coinbase account was compromised and and my associated credit card was too. I reported the occurrence to Coinbase and had my account disabled to limit further fraud. Coinbase provided automated email responses but has yet to provide any assistance or resolution to my issues. At this point, I am unaware if my cryptocurrency wallet is still intact or if it was completely emptied by the compromisers.
I am extremely disappointed in the lack of communication or follow up from Coinbase.

I had $1000 AUD worth of bitcoin, they wouldn't let me withdraw it in Australia. So they're happy to take my money but won't give it back when I try to withdraw!? So I sent it to my brother in the US who never received it, but it's gone from my wallet. Do you think I can get anyone at bitcoin to help? I wish! Coinbase is an absolute scam, they took my money and won't let me get it back, won't even help me find missing bitcoin. Disgraceful. What a rort.

High overall fees for trading and to deposit. Also, if you convert from one coin to another, even though it says there is no conversion fee, you can literally watch the value of your account drop. Unless you're planning to use a Coinbase Pro subscription and day trade a bunch of $#*! that is more volatile than penny stocks or buy bitcoin in hopes of a safe long-term return, don't bother. However, you even get dinged on the back end, especially if you sell Bitcoin. Not happy with this service. Of the $15k I put in, $3.5k profit was lost on a bad trade and $1.5k was lost on a bad company, Coinbase. Find another way to trade your coin, that's my advice.

I have now been waiting for over 3 weeks to get a response back as to where my VERIFIED deposited went.
The replies have all been the normal run around "We are checking into your issue" but redirected to read their policy and other FAQ with links to resolve issues. I am starting to wonder if Coinbase is actually run by Humans! I have not been able to call or speak to an actual person, makes me wonder if the master AI is running the show and has not developed a voice that sounds like a Human! So these guys don't want to talk to people (as in most cases like any insurance company and govt agency) I am moving my holding to another company to avoid future problems. If it is this hard to find my deposits can you imagine how hard it could be to find your account if they screw up?! WARNING DO NOT USE COINBASE!

I'm not saying this because I've had one issue with them, I've had multiple issues with them now. Their lack of care and pure negligence reminds me of the old days in btc when mtgox (trading platform) stole all my money. Everytime you contact support you aren't responded to until a few days after. Then, the email you received (every time I might add) is it takes 5-7 days for someone to get up with you about your issue. Depending on what that said issue is, you might just be screwed because they do not care about you, or your money. Might as well call some of it stealing. Please steer clear of this platform, it's been nothing but headaches for so many users. Check out Binance, they have a much wider variety of crypto options, better support, and more supply of crypto to be purchased.

Please, please, please steer clear.

I don't want to give them a half of a star, but I have to give at least one to move forward. They are terrible! DO NOT use Coinbase. You get locked out a lot and you may lose access to your money. When I log in it says they cannot fetch my portfolio. Which means I can't see my money. I keep hearing there was a gain and I will never know if there was any increase for me. You cannot reach them by phone. I have emailed them many, many times and no help. The response may even say things that do not relate to my issue. They are not trying to help at all! DO NOT use it!

I used the vault feature for added security and it requires two email approvals prior to withdrawing it from the vault. The primary email account worked just fine; however, the secondary email verification loops you back to the coinbase site without executing the approval. I cancelled and attempted it again and it still did not work. So I have a large amount of crypto that I cannot get access too. Totally inept customer service; STAY AWAY FROM THIS EXCHANGE!
