On August 6,2025, I reactivated my Coinbase account within the official deadline (August 8). After reactivation, I deposited and invested a total of €350 (~$380) in several cryptocurrencies (BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, MAGIC).
On August 11,2025, Coinbase suddenly closed my account without valid notice, even though it was active and funded.
As a result, I lost €350 — my funds are blocked, and the customer support only tells me to "wait" without giving any clear explanation or solution.
This is unacceptable for a company that handles people's money. I strongly advise against using Coinbase — there's no guarantee you'll get your money back, and their customer service is ineffective and unhelpful.

I locked my account right away, but it took a couple of days for me to calm down enough to contact people about it. I deposited 600 dollars into my coinbase account on January 29th, 2025 directly from my Bank Account
The deposit was shown in my statement as "pending" - this went on for three days
3 days later, I called CS and was told that there was a system error and it would be corrected in a few days
(The next day - the 600 record was removed from my coin base statement.)
3 days later, I called CS and was told that the people was with my bank - They needed proof of Transfer - I provided it and confirmed the transfer with the Bank CS.
3 days later, I called CS and they told me that maybe there was some kind of fraud - nothing specific
3 days later, I called CS and they told me that there was no fraud and the funds would be returned to me on March 1
On March the second, CS said, that they were working on it and that I would have to wait until they sent the refund to me. They refused to provide a timeline beyond "soon" and I should watch my email for further instructions. No dead line or ability to get any additional information.
In Coinbase's defence, they do reply to calls quickly and are articulate and detailed. I want my money back.
