Ladies, pls take extra precautions towards this guy named either Terry or Peter Wong in CMB.
He is a love scammer who is out to cheat your feelings and monies as well.
He will send sweet talk messages to you everyday for 2 weeks. After two weeks, he will lure you to set up Google Hangouts and started to pester you to transfer money to pay his oil rig items to his so-called supplier named Benson Lee in HK.
Pls see the photo attachment of his latest profile in CMB.
So this Andre Blephin was really a scammer? Hmmmm... thats why i had doubt on him when he asked me for his leave application guarantee. Its same description you write in here the one im talking to. Goodluck to him i will not even send even a single fils for him and why would i? Hes the one who want to go on vacation here then he had the guts to ask the bank guarantee for his leave? Im not a nuts. Lol
In 2016, when I first tried CMB, I was very impressed by the quality of the matches and the candidates. Really, impressed. As a result, I recommended CMB to several friends, and also wrote a positive review. Since one month, back on the site, I have been appalled at hiw things have changed. The most interesting profiles that they « suggest » turn out to be fake. Look out for photo-shoot perfect photos and then mediocre English, chock-full of mistakes that you might expect from India or Nigeria. The life stories they present often make no sense - he's from another country, but lives in US since years (generally as an eminent scientist, physician, or businessman). He lives across the countey, in another city, and is only listed as being from your city because he signed up for CMB during a business trip to your city. Oh, gag me. This site, despite its good intentions and its initial good performance, has become little more than a hoax!
I have met three guys in a row and all of them have men scammers two army guys don't waste your time if you're going to waste your time for this site you might as well go to POF and go to more scammers
Got liked by this china guy, talk alot about himself, never met this guy at all too. Started calling me babe or darling, and sing to me ( his singing sucks btw) it was gross whenever he called me that and continued say want to do financial management together, i followed and earn about 500plus from it. And i was stupid and follow his scam and he manage to scam 7k from me. I believe he doesnt look like the pictures, he must be ugly and freak looking.
Buyer Beware! 3 out of 5 guys who contacted me were fakes and 2 were kicked off the site. Im not sure what they are trolling for but it was very obvious after the first one!
We all should open a lawsuit against the site, taking money from everyone.
There is Online Law. They can no longer get away with that.
Let get together and end this BS>
I tried out this app recommended by friends. But i haven't subscribe yet. Until I saw many bad reviews here. Just like to share my experience. I received message from this guy call Calvin, claim that he is half Chinese half Australian from Melbourne working in Malaysia Terengganu for the project. Divorced with his own company with one daughter. Then asked me to chat at WhatsApp. From there everyday send me message few times and say sweet words to me and asked me to be his girlfriend. But i never say yes. After that I notice his mobile number quite strange with is +6011 with 8 digits number, I found fishing and something not right. And he send me the picture with his daughter and himself look like not real... I don't sure where he got all these pictures, until I asked him send video call to me, but never. From there it proved that I am right, 100% scammers, he scold me some more blocked me. Ladies just be aware this!
But I Guess some of people were lucky to meet some real or true friends from this app. Just to aware, don't fall in love too fast or don't give personal accounts or money. This is scammers wanted by end of the day
I only was contacted by Nigerian scam artists and bots that struggled with basic English sentences. Kind of a red flag when chatting with someone with a graduate degree or so they claim.
This guy claimed that he lives in UK. An architect, very good with his words and quite a gentleman when chatting. Good command in English. Too good to be true. He's just another scammer on CMB.
Came out with story a residential building he in charged few years back has collapse and the company immediately wants him to reinstate the building before they report him to UK. Asked for a loan to buy building materials. Google about it but no news came out on building collapsed in Turkey.
Rejected him and he immediately blocked me on everything. (CMB, Wechat & Whatsapp)
CMB Profile: Eric (Photo with Red Tshirt & 2nd Photo)

His name is Ronald. He had requested me to remit money to him at UK for tiding over his business crisis. His webchat account is Ronald103 and he work as a independent or freelance architect. This is a 100% Scammer Dating Site! I cant believe the Feds have not shut it down! Every single IT has been a scammer every one of them! I wise the word It because who knows whether a man or woman? Actually OK Cupid is the best hands down and its totally free!
RUN RUN RUN as fast as you can from CMB!
How interesting that ALL of the men I communicated with suddenly had suspicious accounts and I was advised to stop any communication. This website is completely a waste of time
Disgusting how unscrupulous! Beware! Most say they are engineers! Besides that, you get one bagle every day or two! Seriously! And they have nerve to charge you fir beans! For what! It's a scam!
Coffee Meets Bagel is a small nice website where you feel good. The problem is - that not that much girls are online. So I tried datingme.org and got more luck.
I really liked this dating app until i was scammed. I was scammed out of money by someone I matched with on SMB and we had been talking for about a month. I stupidly sent him money because he said he was doing volunteer work abroad and was stranded. He was supposedly Turkish American doctor based in Lake Oswego, Oregon. He has a number on google chat that he uses. He goes by Emre Ahmed. Be ware! I suggest that if you have been scammed on CMB, that you send them an email. Dating websites need to be help accountable or they should go out of business. I'm so pissed about this that I am thinking about a class lawsuit against this company. Anyhow, CMB's email is *******@coffeemeetsbagel.zendesk.com
I have met this guy named "Eric Chang" in CMB app. (Phone number: *******816) He claims to be 42 years old, korea mix hong kong people and lived in hong kong until 11 years old, and moved to new york after that. He has his own company doing oil rig consultant firm. He asked my whatsapp on the same day we started to chat. He would text me every morning and night and saying sweet things. He even showed me pictures of him and video about his work (even though he did not appear in those video).
One day he said he have to go to turkey for a month for oil rig contract offshore. After about 10 days offshore, he said his machine doesn't work and need to buy a new one from china. Then he said cannot get into his bank account and maybe the wifi is not strong enough. He asked me to help him get into his account, and said that his only friend always go to casino and is not trustworthy. He also asked me to loan to him and he will pay me back. Since i found this website on the day he borrow money from me, so i refused and tell him he is a liar. I hope others would not be cheated by this guy.
This is the absolute worst app. Everyone has fake profiles and is looking to scam. Complete and total waste of time. I notified cmb 3 x of obvious catfish with no response. Irresponsible.
I get one free profile to select or pass on every day? Can sekectbon others but have to buy beans? $5 for 400? That's like paying $5 per right swipe on tinder. Crazy
This dating app has several problems. First, when you subscribe to their premium package, you might think that allows you to send "likes" to profiles you like and try to start a conversation, as advertised. WRONG. They give you only 8 likes, meaning, you can send a "like" to 8 profiles, and that's it. Once you run out of likes, you must buy their in-app currency, "beans," so you can send more likes by spending beans. It costs between $2.78 to $6.67 to send ONE LIKE to ONE PROFILE. That is ridiculous! You might send 10 or 20 likes or more, and not get any response. Who would knowingly sign up and pay for a monthly subscription, only to find out you have to pay $3 or more just to wave at someone? And, of course, the subscription is non-refundable.
The other problem is that while they match you up with 21 "suggested" profiles each day (and you can "like" any of those for free), there is no adequate way of setting preferences and filters. So you get suggestions of totally unattractive profiles that can be way older or otherwise not compatible. Very disappointing.
Answer: If they ask for money, it's a scam. Think about it. Would anyone really want to date someone who only needed money? No! That's why they come in so strong to get a strong "connection" going so you think you're more invested than just a dating relationship. ITS.A. SCAM.
