I had an encounter on a Christian dating site called Christian Single Mix after praying for the other half and was convinced my prayers have been answered as this person also claimed he had been doing the same. It was all coincidental as the encounter happened 2 weeks after returning from a Christian retreat about hearing God's voice after praying for specific things. After receiving messages from the site notifying me about this person who called himself sonowonder but had a name of Wayne Phillipe Veilancour of 22 Cypress Avenue, Lincoln Park, NJ ******* USA, I read his profile and found we had so much in common. After brief communication on the site he sent his phone number and I made contact. We then went on to email and after reading more about him took a deep breath because he presented with most things that I was looking for. As both Christians we based the encounter on faith and trust and as he resided in the US and I questioned how a relationship was going to work and how we were going to meet. He announced he was prepared to travel to wherever he finds love and in regards to meeting he had some business to accomplish (a business contract he had been praying about alongside finding the other half) which was going to take a few weeks and then will fly over to England. We emailed daily, texted and spoke over the phone on his US number then as he went on his travels we also communicated. I was wooed into his passion, time, care and later love. He would say our encounter is a divine intervention and orchestrated in heaven and very sweet with words. He revealed his business was in diamonds, gems and quarts and had to go to India then to the Ivory Coast and Paris before coming over to England to meet up. He expressed his excitement, desires and most all very positive and grounded in his faith in God. Preaching the gospel, singing to me over the phone. He painted such a good picture and made everything look so convincing until he got to the Ivory Coast and called me on a Sunday afternoon to say that he had been a victim of identity fraud when he used his credit card to get his flight online and was stranded. I asked him what he was going to do and he stated he needed to contact his family in the States but even that was proving difficult. I offered to send something through to get help him get the help he needed so sent £300 through western union. After he collected the money he called to express many thanks and said that was plenty to get him by until he sorts things. The next hurdle was his funds for the business had been blocked as the country he was doing business in was blacklisted which he was not aware of being the first time doing business in the country. I looked it all up online and it was true. He sent me of a picture the letter from the authorities blocking the funds and requirement of a document needed to unblock the funds. This required money that he did have and had asked his family to help but they could only help with so much so he needed further help and will pay all back with interest. As this stage I was beginning to question whether this person was a con artist and actually said to him if it weren't for the fact that he preaches and know the bible so well I would say he is a con artist, I tried to convince myself he wasn't and questioned him about a week later which started a bit of conflict with him saying I have insulted him and undermined his integrity. The money thing continued with one thing or another and found myself visiting western union and the post office a few time until my savings of £4000 was washed away. He travelled to Paris on 06/09/16 to complete his business then fly over to UK but sent an email stating he is in Paris and the devil is a liar and wanting him to commit suicide as the diamonds he is taking to be shipped from Paris to India has been seized because he needs a certifying document for bringing diamonds into the EU from Ivory Coast and had been detained. His agent at Ivory Coast managed to get him an attorney to bail him so he could return to the Ivory Coast to get the certificate for clearance. He then embarked back to Ivory Coast and needed money for this certificate which his agent was helping with from the commission he paid him but this was not enough therefore I felt obligated to help. Oh my goodness I can go on forever, he fabricated a picture that seemed so real but I kept questioning why there was always money matters. He said he was going through a texting and even referred to Job in the bible, it was all to testify to God's glory he would say and stayed positive. He didn't like negativity and always believed and trusted in God. He finally got this certificate and now needed to sort out his travel and sorting out customs, he said some church folks helped but this wasn't enough so I made up the difference and by now all my savings had gone so I told him that was it and was out of my depth. He texted a photo of the certificate for clearance and confirmed his flight back to Paris on 2/10/16, he messaged he arrived safely and feeling very tired. I suggested to go and meet him in Paris but he did not want to mix business with pleasure and declined the idea but as I insisted he said I can do what I like so I messaged my reservation and set off to Paris on the Sunday morning. Arrived and message him, called but he was off line so kept trying until I had to catch my return flight back at 16:40. By this time I was fuming and sending horrible messages and calling him all kinds of names and a scam. As I mentioned earlier we communicated everyday since the encounter and there was none on that Sunday, Monday and Tuesday until I received an email on the Wednesday morning 5/10/16 from someone called G Winston stating they have him as he has something that belongs to them and warning me to stay away as they have no business with me. The salutation of this email was from the brotherhood of light and covenant and they were going to allow him to contact Wayne at around 3pm. At around 3.30pm Wayne messaged to say he had been kidnapped and did not know where he was and the kidnapper want him to back off the business, has seen all the messages i sent at the airport and would I ever doubt his love for me once again. He said he will hand over everything for his life and go into the ministry God has been calling him to but he has been running away from. He had already told me he was running away from his ministry when he was having problems with his business. The whole ordeal was becoming burdensome so I asked for prayers from my church, friends and Christian organisations. The kidnap went on for 3 weeks with restricted communication while they sort out the business and they kidnappers had located his son who will not be harmed if he does not sabotage the deal and he was to be freed to Algeria when the transaction is completed. I reported this kidnap to the police and they told me it was a scam but with all the evidence of documents and how the stories had been fabricated I believed all of it was true at this stage until Saturday 22/10/16 I sent him a message to say I can't believe how foolish he has been, God was his only hope and what's happening to him is not God's will and knowing the word of God does not mean he lives by it. Since sending that whatsapp message he has deactivated his contact and has also been offline on viber since 26/10/16. So much went on during the 3 months of meeting this guy on the site and cannot cover all but one thing I have found very distressing is using God's name in vain. Quoting scriptures, faking he is a Christian, posing himself on a Christian dating site with liars, deceit and misleading Christians in a very dangerous way. These people need to be exposed, they're evil and up to no good.
