I booked my flights using my credit card. Unfortunately my bank denied payment. I received an email notifying me of this but that I had 24 hrs. To correct it. I spent over three hours trying to rectify the situation. First online, through chat and then through agents(4) on the phone. During this last part I received an email saying my booking was cancelled. With the last agent it was explained that the airline was not offering that price anymore. He found me a new reasonable price, but I am not happy with the amount of time it took to straighten this out. Also the losing the original price considering you offered to resubmit within 24hrs. Does not seem right.

Out sourcing to India for customer contact is a MAJOR MISTAKE. Accent is virtually unintelligible, but with lots of slow walking I was able to conclude my business. Staff was competent but unintelligible.
You have told me that the airline has changed my booking, but you offer no information whatsoever about what those changes are. You provide a button that says 'review changes' but it does not take me to any information about any changes. Your website still has me confirmed on the original, unchanged ticket schedule. I have waited 24 fours and you still have not given me any information with which I can base my decision to either accept or not accept the changes.

Tried to book this using my rewards points. It was nearly impossible and I was trying all morning. I finally decided to try and get a gift card with my points and use that. Turns out, you can only use the gift cards for flights and not hotels. Traveling for my birthday and was excited to get $50 off. Phone customer service person was very unhelpful and unsympathetic.

We bought at the lowest price, but there is a hidden clause that says they get to charge you $100 every time the AIRLINE changes the flight for any reason, something that has happened now twice before our trip, and may yet again! What a cheat! We're paying more in fees to Cheapo than our tickets cost!
Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!
