I was in a store today and had the rudest Lady at the check out counter. I had waited 10 min to check out which is fine but when it was my turn the Store Manager took a customer that had just walked in and told me. I would have to wait. I waited for her to finish with that lady then had to wait as she wrote up one of her employees. Worse customer service ever
I've been a Catherine's customer for years but now never again. I ordered shorts and it took 1 month to get them. When I did receive them 1 pair came with no tags like it was a return. Tried to contact them and nothing. Customer service doesn't care. I will never shop there again.

Took over an hour to get any service at all since I cannot print out a label I have to make one and I will be charged for shipping again when I send it back! Customer service was awful and not helpful at all
The person blamed PayPal for the it being the wrong address. However, PayPal had the right address. They refused to ship it out to the right address when it is returned. They have told me "too bad," and that I am just out the $53.98. I will never do business with them again.
I ordered $395 worth of cloths, the catalog said delivery in 7-14 days. After 30 days no order delivered even after customer service said it would be delivered in two days at day18. Calls and emails to customer service are no help. The supervisor said the 7-14 day delivery was after they ship but the catalog does not state that. When asked the supervisor could not define how long "processing" is.
Previous experience with the original Catherine's were good, the new company is very bad. If they could give me a date I could understand what to do. You can't cancel and they can't tell you when they will ship.
Not a viable online seller. Problems at ever step. Took 16 days for order to arrive. They gave it to USPS who held it for 5 days then gave it to FedEx ground who claimed to have unexpected weather delay of 3 days except tracking showed it was on a truck driving from Portland to Seattle, a 5 hour drive at a time it was clear and sunny. Ordered 4 items all way oversized and 1 item wasn't even what I ordered. Return hell was next. Wouldn't put it back on same card it was paid with, wouldn't ship the correct item, was told instant gift card credit if I took the item to one of their return stations. Credit never appeared so called and that was another lie now they say even though they have the item it will take a week for the credit. Meanwhile other items shrunk in length by 3 inches and are 4 inches bigger around than chart indicated. Now returning everything and never ordering from them or any of their group again.
Be careful ordering from this vendor. They claim FedEx left a package at my address on a day I was home all day. No package was delivered. Now they will not refund my money without a police report. I feel they should have to track down the package, not penalize me.
I ordered 3 tops and a pair of capris. I received 1 top size medium and nothing else. No items ordered were received. Customer service is terrible and did not resolve the issue. They have my money but I don't have my order or a refund.

Quality has gone down, and i have received the wrong items on my passed 4 orders, and can't reorder cause they just happen to be out of my item. Now I just notice I'm going to have a hole in my jeans and I can't return them cause I've worn them for 3 hrs now. I made a purchase on 4/18/23 for two items. Upon reviewing the high shipping fee I called to cancel my order. Also I thought I would get a discount on my first order which I did not. When I asked the CSR for a confirmation number for the cancellation I was told I didn't need one because the order hadn't shipped. She told me it would be back on my account in three days. My credit still has not shown up. I have talked to about eight people saying different things or transferring me to someone else or giving me another number to call. The last lady I spoke to said the cancellation was approved but on hold. She could not tell me what the hold was for just keep repeating the same inane thing. Catherine"s your customer service and automated system is just awful and outdated. Now I'm headed to cancel this card. I would have given 0 stars if I could have.
I was finally able to get ahold of Catherine's via chat. This is after numerous attempts to call them and told that I would need to try again later as they were just to busy with phone calls to answer the phone. I asked to cancel my order, but they said since it is processing I cannot. They claim that it is increased order volume. This order has said that it was "processing" since day 1. My favorite part of this conversation is when they said "make sure you check out our clearance items!". Not happening.
I placed an order 6 days ago and no update on my account or on my order. I tried calling and they said it would be a 30 minute wait. I cannot believe the non-customer service and lack of communication. The message on the phone said that my receipt on my order would give me an estimate of when my order would arrive and it is not on my receipt. I overlooked the $20 they charged me for shipping thinking it would still be worth it, but never again. Since placing this order I have already received my packages from Macy's - there is something seriously wrong with this organization. Just don't do mail order if you can't handle it.
The site is easy to use and has a nice search function. I'm happy with the quality of clothing and the variety of choices. Sometimes, the sales offered on the website and the store do not match each other which can be confusing.
I purchased a swim top which did not fit. I paid $20.13. I sopke with a rude customer service agent who explained to send it back would cost me a $10.99 handling fee plus the cost to ship it back. What a rip off! It was my first and only order from this company.
I have NEVER been so tempted to curse, so close to losing my temper & want to reach through the phone (I always laughed at people that got that mad). Apparently Catherine's no longer cares about maintaining a repeat customer base.
If you have to return an item it will take forever and anyone you talk to at customer service will give you the runaround and delay your refund as long as possible. I ordered a coat, it didn't fit, I sent it back, got an email saying they got the return and did not issue a refund. When we called to complain we got a call center in the Philippines and spoke to Kate who also gave us the runaround and was no help to us. in the meantime we have not gotten our refund and it's been almost a month. This company needs to RE-learn (if they ever knew in the first place) customer service. To verify, our order number was *******8851.
Ordered some things online. Came too late for what I needed them for. Fought in store trying to get the refund, they so gladly said they could handle. Would not take the refund. Called Customer Service. She told me yes, no problem, only to come back and say you will just have to mail them back yourself. 3 minutes earlier, she was sending me a prepaid label. I paid with my debit card through Paypal for an added level on security. I repeatedly stated I did not pay with Pay Pal, I paid with my checking account, Too bad. Funny, another lady trying to do a return was having problems also. STAY AWAY... AND SAFE YOURSELF SOME GRIEF!
I am disabled. I order most of my items online. It was convenient to order online from catherine's and supposedly easy to return. We have a store near me so my caregiver returns items directly to the store should we need to. And we frequently need to. However, I've had enough of their red tape policies that prevent returns even with the shipping receipt, the card that was used to purchase it as well as the scannable barcode from the package the item was in. Especially when it's less than 60 days old. Their customer service line is a joke and the store manager Linda was even more so. I will not support a company like this any longer.
Ordered for the 1st time ever. Looking for something nice for an older neighbor. Hesitated due to the extraordinary ship cost. 2 days later went ahead and completed order. Recvd fairly quickly. 100% disappointed. Cheap material and totally misshapen. Most upsetting was the 3 lbs or catalogs I got. What a rip off. They charged me so they can ship their advertisements.
