In my case, I lost approximately $180,000 through a fraudulent broker who refused to release my funds. After contacting., they immediately collected all the evidence and guided me on the documentation required. I found that CashApp is not good with customer refunds. They are very dismissive and uncaring. Use other pay options instead. Great app for scammers!

I've had to make a total of three accounts on cash app. The first time I was lucky to not have funds in there anymore and simply had to make a new account. My second account, I had quite a bit of money in there for someone my age. However, one day cash app kicked me out of my account( unknown reason). I did a huge hard reset on my phone but when I tried to re access my cash app to order some food, they said my account couldn't be accessed despite the information I was providing. I called an associate about it( his name is Erik) and he told me to make a new account, verify that account, and then they would be able to transfer the money from that old account into the new one. To shorten it up, they did not and instead said for "security" reasons I wouldn't be able to get that money and if I wanted to keep my account that I just made, they wouldn't be putting that money into there... Mind you this is the second time cash app has stolen from me with this account. I tried contacting them through email, calling them, and talking to their chat support. It's all pointless, they WILL steal your money and lie about it at that. Just use PayPal people!

My cash app got closed for no reason. When asked i had to go to chat. No help there. No one ever got back to me as to why it was closed. I tried a live person for customer support. All he could tell me is that I had violated their agreement. I asked what was the violation. He would NOT BE ABLE TO TELL ME. That is what he said. No manager would speak with me. Not available. Later I sent an email. The manager got back with me only via email stating that I had violated their policy. When asked she sent me pages and pages of terms and agreement. BUT NO EXPLANATION OF WHICH TERMS OR AGREEMENTS I HAD VIOLATED. NOTHING ABOUT WHICH POLICY WAS VIOLATED. CASE CLOSED. The customer service is absolutely pathetic

Cash app holds onto your money, but doesn't allow you to make payments with your own money. I have never been treated so badly. This is the worst experience of my business years and I am 65. I would never recommend this company ever.

They just up and closed my account I have spoken with 3 different robots and 4 different people and still don't know why they closed my account. Customer service is the worst don't bother wasting your time with this app.its kinda scary how easy they can just turn it off anytime they like because they don't like something u said or the people you associate with or political views it woke me up the hell with digital currency it's bad news AMERICA...

Their platform promises attractive returns, but it's all smoke and mirrors.

I strongly advise against getting involved with Cashapp, as my experience suggests they are operating as a scam. Be cautious, as engaging with them could lead to financial loss and other negative outcomes. I was able to recover my money, but it was only possible through external assistance. (I used their website URL as my display name and profile picture on this review in case anyone needs help or wants to reach out for support).

Note: Due to the strict policy here, I'm sharing this purely to help others recover their funds.

In the past, I have often used my Cash App card instead of my bank debit card to purchase items online, for security reasons. When using my Cash App card to make purchases, I assumed the entire process would work the same as it does with my bank debit card, but I was sadly mistaken. The purchasing process seems to be the same. However, when my orders have either been cancelled or my money refunded by the merchant, it has often been extremely difficult to receive my refunded amount timely from Cash App and I have often had to reach out to them numerous times before finally receiving my refund/money. For this reason, I have decided that from this point forward, I will Never use their Cash App card again for purchases of any kind.

Money Disappeared
I've never had money disappear from my PayPal or Venmo. This is completely unacceptable. It's been about a month since filling a complaint. With all evidence provided. The customer service rep basically said he was sorry. There was nothing he could do except hand the complaint over to higher authority. Cash app has employees stealing money and no one is being reimbursed. The haven't contacted me either... They have also hidden all true reviews on the Google Play Store

I cashed out but my money never made it to my bank account. When I called customer service I got some run around about me providing the right account information. It's funny how it's the right information when I deposit money into cash app but not when I take money out. Don't use this app delete it from your phone now if you're smart!

I paid $155.42 for a $85 bill. Tmobile sent m e back my money, and cashapp refused to return it, so I was forced to close my account that I had for years as, nothing I gave was a goof enough option to them. So please for no reason get cashapp.

Cash App account holder stole money from my bank account - somehow got my debit card info. When you call Cash App, they basically say tough $#*!. Call the police. When the police call, they say get a subpoena. Only crooks protect crooks. Find a reputable cash app.

Cash app paper check deposit has been down since before December. The only thing they are able to tell is "we don't know when it's going to be back up". It has inconvenienced me and other users for to long for them to not know anything. The lack of knowledge they have to provide to customers is terrible. I wouldn't recommend this money app to no one.

Cashapp shut down my account for "violating their terms of service", but can't tell what terms I violated. I called the customer support three times and they all said the same thing when I asked why I was shut down? "We have no further information to tell you." One of the service reps even hung up on me when I said that is an unacceptable answer. I have been using Cashapp for years to send money to vendors, family, and friends. I have no clue what possible term of service I violated.

I just read hundreds of reviews.from.people having the same experience as me. How can they be allowed to do this. And get away with it. I'm one who will never stop until I get my money or some type of satisfaction. They stole 1800.00 from me and each time I call them they start an investigation then they send the same generic email saying to contact my bank. My bank gave me signed documents showing that the money was returned to cash app.

There is a new scam structure on CashApp. The scammer uses a third party money recipient and so if you file a complaint, the scammer received no money and the 3rd party had no interaction with you so there will never be a refund. CASHAPP SUCKS

I refunded my friends $400 dollars back to them and they never received it. We called customer service and they keep saying to go to our bank. When our bank has nothing to so with the application. They will not let you speak to a manager because the manager will only respond to you via email. The information that "Kathy" gave was also incorrect information about the transfer of the money from one cash app recipient to another. I cannot believe with all these complaints that this app is still up and running.
