Payed the fee and got the summary of the car. It was not not acceptable it shown that the car is fine and no isshue, but the small things that caught my eye... The car I asked the reshearch on was not eaven made with that type of engine, and had nothing like the report say. Based on pannle gap, and supension parts, it was in a crash at some point, but the report didn't shonwn any kind of damage. If I knew this would happen I'd never give them my money for a report, and I'll never ask for a report from this page ever again.

The reports are too expensive and you are not guaranteed to get info that you are expecting. For example I paid only to check the milage, but I didn't get it.

UPDATE: After writing a complain to the support they assigned another VIN car check to my account, so I can check for one more car. I hope I will get all the car data next time.

Impressive, almost instantaneous vehicle history report, that was fairly comprehensive with the exception of vehicle tax rating, which I was also interested in.

Serious and accurate supplier in finding the data of the car I am interested in.
They gave me a credit because one report generated was not complete, very professional, I recommend them

Well, the report worked on my car that I purchased last year. However my car is in Portuguese registration but was imported from France. So it only shows things that happened while registered in France and couldn't for example specify the reason of the damage on a crash warning but could the estimated price of repair of that crash... and the milage only had 2 updates (one at 400km and the other at 60.000km) so not very specific. Everything and the registration in Portugal wasn't available... it definitely needs more support in Portugal. And the price is a bit high when (in my case) doesn't even support Portuguese registration.

I bought a car history report from them. No information whatsoever. Total scam. They offer to refund money on their site, however I've requested it 4x already & got no response and no refund. Scam.

Even if it costs some euros, it helped me to save money as the car was announced with higher mileage than the reality: 139 000 km three years ago and only 79 000 km displayed in the car!

I am happy to find out that the car had a massive € 20.000 repair, but the report was not as I hoped to see after seeing a lot of British reports, no TUV reports at all

I am absolutely livid with CarVertical! I trusted them to provide accurate information about a vehicle I was purchasing, and they failed miserably. I bought a check from them at the beginning of January 2024, and it showed no issues whatsoever. I even did a fresh check a month later, and again, no problems. But then, a potential buyer did a check with another company a week later, and guess what? The vehicle was flagged as a write-off from October 2023! How could CarVertical miss such a crucial piece of information? I trusted them because of their reputation and the endorsements from people like Matt Armstrong. But now, I'm out over £5000 because of their incompetence. And to make matters worse, when I contacted them about the issue, they just brushed me off, saying their checks are done from external data and they won't resolve my issue. This is unacceptable! I will never use CarVertical again, and I urge everyone else to avoid them like the plague. Their checks can be wrong, and you could end up losing a lot of money. Avoid at all costs!

You do not show how many years of car service history is available before purchasing pf report.
If i knew there is only 2 years I would not by it. I saw more from service book than from your report.

I went to look at a new car yesterday (Skoda Octavia) and having seen CarVertical on Salvage Rebuilds and Chops Garage, I decided to do a check with CV. Yes, it does cost a little bit more than your usual HPI and that, but the amount of info is second to none and gave me full confidence to go ahead with the car. I would certainly be using this service again if and when the time comes!

I placed an order and it was charged twice! When I contacted them for a refund they said they would give me credit for a new report, but they made no refund

Does it give idea about overall info, yes. Does it give full information,no. 4 pages of no record funded etc but before charging we have found info about you car bla bla bla...

CarVertical worked just fine for me! I've purchased 4 reports in total and each was pretty good. It had records were the most interesting for me and even more. Thanks!

I have had mixed experience with the information quality from Car Vertical. Usually the mileage information is quite accurate. The information regarding the damage and repair costs is not so accurate and could be misleading.
We have checked as a test the car from a friend that has done a complete re-paint due to scratches and paint peel-off while the car was still under warranty and full insurance. The report showed that the car was totaled due to accident.
Another negative point is the expiration of a report. For two cars that I have checked (and purchased), I have payed for the reports, but I can no longer see the reports after a few months. Although they appear in the history of my account, I have to pay again to see those reports.
The price initially shown are without VAT. The same when you get different discount notifications like 10% or 20% discount. So you apply 20% discount but before finalizing the payment the platform adds the VAT cost ( in my case 19%) and you end up with the same price that you started from.
It is clearly a sales strategy.

Very useful information! It really helps to form full car view. Unfortunately I miss car accident pictures. And it is difficult to evaluate how big damage was done during accident.

Conartists and thiefs. First of all the reports are very incomplete and secondly they will simply steal your credits when you do not use them fast enough.
