Brilliant and all info I needed and more.
Excellent value for money and the time that must have been taken initially establishing this site is a credit to its creators
I was having a gut-feeling with a used car I was about to buy in Berlin, Germany. I couldnt put my finger on it. I found CarVertical, gave in the VIN and figured I'll pay the 30 € to have peace of mind. The car turned out to be a scrap/salvage yard import from the US, with a lot of damages (pictures were provided in the report and everything). The seller hadnt disclosed any of that to me. I cancelles the sale last second before being scammed. Thank you guys! Saved me well over 50K!
Found 2 cars with modified mileage :) -one of which had an accident (that I was specified).
I feel it's a good service. I can't say it's cheap, but worth giving just before buying your car.
I looked for informations about a car, especially number of owners and their countries. Didn't get that info. But I got some very interesting data about repairs made on the car. So it was worth it.
According to initial summary tonns of data are available regarding the car. What was surprising for me, price offer was without VAT, later on I had to pay more with VAT. I was really interrested in km data history (mileage) of the car, but unfortunately almost nothing was available, just the one when the car was moved to hungary. No regular data neither from german, nor from hungarian era. One reparation was done in the bumper, which was present in the database. Factorial recall event data was not provided. All the other services were fine (not stolen, no taxi,.) For me the hungarian governmet's website could provide more data with photos free of charge.
I'm the private owner of an old Jaguar. The price of the report was a bit steep considering all the missing information (many items were empty), but in the end I got what I asked for: The most important facts about my car (in Italy). Lots of details missing, but if the Jaguar service shop I'm using doesn't update the data in the "official" systems, what can carVertical do? By entering the VIN code of my car I got some complete crap first concerning some cars of different brands located in US. However, after I paid for the report, the data I got was aligned with realistic facts (as far as I can judge) from Italy, where I live and where the car was first registered. Carvertical seems like an honest business for me, but I would appreciate lower prices if so much of the data on the report is missing.
We have found a second hand car on-line. We went to take a have look and have a test drive. We have got pretty much amount of information about the car. Well presented service and repair history. We thought we could do some more digging, so we went to try carvertical. It was a complete dissatisfaction! The service cost about 25 Eur. The only information carvertical has is the milage in 2021. That's it. I was about disappointed as I would see some detailed report regarding service and repairs on the car. I would not use their service at all, in my opinion it is a complete scam.
CarVertical provides some data which is not very much useful when purchasing a car. In many European contries Germany is the leading supplier of the cars, but this is the problem as CarVertical provides very few information from this country. The expectation is to provide exact mileage which was last recorded at official dealer during the planned / unplanned visit, also to provide information from official dealers or insurance companies regarding the accidents. Now one can only guess if the car was in the accident or not and what is the mileage of the car. That is a sad part of the experience.
I didnt see any km references, maybe it is because the car never been în an Service?
Or i dont know were to look., the seller sau that the car has ******* km..
I used CarVertical website to obtain a vehicle report on a 2008 BMW. Although the report was somewhat comprehensive it did NOT include some critical material. The vehicle I was looking at was serviced at the same BMW dealership for 13 years. The owner of the vehicle was kind enough to give me all the service records.
This website ONLY provided half of the service records & repair records for this vehicle, the last three years of service records were missing. This website also failed to mention that the car was in a frontal accident in 2009 that required two new fenders, a hood, and nose piece, and two headlights at the BMW dealer. My recommendation is you try another website.
I did receive a report with a lot of information missing. Mileage shown is *******km when the car has now 175.000km. I received from seller a recent check report with the mileage for the 3 last checks (compulsory every 2 years in France). No picture of the accident wich is suposed to be minor but needed fixing.
What a waste of money.
Dont bother, look elsewhere.
Save some dollars, I realized I stuffed up when it had the fancy animations to trick you into thinking it "takes time" to check the database.
The report was good, I got the confirmation I needed.
In the process I saw a big problem with choosing the Report type. Even if I had the options to choos 1 report, 2 or even 3 reports with different prices, I alway ended up forced to buy the 3 reports (which I had to do).
Too bad, it is not ok to force the most expensive choice.
Use other services. Waste of money. 90% of the information they provide can be found online with a little digging. Damage reports very frugal, service reports lacking. Avoid.
Their information is poor and doesn't add any value. A public and free register provided me with more information on two cars I researched. Please don't waste your money on this scam!
Have had better experience with other, much cheaper solutions.
Didn't came to any conclusions with the provided info as they state in their advertising etc.
I was amazed by how these guys work! The tool itself is very useful, I have checked a few cars and reports included accidents pictures which saved me from buying a real crap. Highly recommend!
In my case, the checked cars were 100% consistent with the actual condition. I think it's worth using, especially if you have a little expensive car. I recommend it
As someone who recently explored carVertical.com for vehicle history reports, I have mixed feelings about the service. Firstly, I must commend the website for its user-friendly design. The layout is clean and navigating through the site to find information is quite intuitive.
The organization of car data and information is another strong point of carVertical.com. They present vehicle histories in a well-structured format, making it easy to comprehend the details of a car's past, including previous accidents, ownership, and service history.
However, the service has its shortcomings. A significant issue I encountered was the occasional inaccuracy in technical information. There were instances where the details provided did not fully match up with the actual specs of the car.
Another limitation is the coverage of older cars. It seems that most older vehicles are not included in their database. This gap can be a significant downside for classic car enthusiasts or those interested in older models, who might not find the information they need.
Additionally, carVertical.com appears to not collaborate with local providers and their databases. This lack of integration can lead to gaps in the history reports, especially for cars that have been serviced or registered in specific regions.
In summary, while carVertical.com offers a user-friendly interface and well-organized information, it falls short in terms of the completeness and accuracy of data, especially for older vehicles. It's a decent tool for a quick check, but I would recommend cross-referencing with other sources or local databases.
Wanted to check out a car i was thinking about buying online, my mechanic told me about carVertical. Excellent service, very easy to use, results were clear and informative, happy with my report.
Answer: It is a scam! Gave me no specific information about my vehicle at all
