I was called twice about my bill not gone through my credit card when I had a email from my bank showing that went through OK.
So by the third time I had to tell the operator to recheck because it was paid.
So I don't know why I was called when it was paid on time so looks like one department didn't know what the other department was doing

Not paying for repair

We also send out the contracts at the time of sale, which states on every page that No Claims Will Be Paid Without Prior Authorization. Breathe, CarShield's got this!

1st experience with Carshield. I took my Lexus for a system error and told them I have Carshield. My service agent took their info. Carshield called me once the car was diagnosed and cost was assessed by Lexus. They went through the details and my final payment to Lexus. It was a nice surprise just how seamless the 3 way transaction was.

5 days for a simple repair

Didn't have my car for 5 days for a part that takes 15 minutes to replace and was overcharged by the dealership

Christopher, after further review, the claim was started on a Friday and was paid on the following Tuesday. It appears the shop called that the repairs were completed by Monday and that there was some information that was missing on the final invoice, which led to the claim being paid the next day. We are always willing to go over your contract with you, explain the claim process, and address any issues. As a continuous member of different 'motor clubs' for 50 years, timing is everything. When a dispatcher indicates an arrival time, that becomes a highly emotional situation.

It could be 2 hours. Fine. Busy is busy. But many previous experiences had their ETA off by a factor of 50% or more. Meaning late. So at the precise second after their ETA of 2 hours, anxiety will start to set in.

I was fortunate to arrange my Car Shield pickup from my home. 99% of the time it's on the road and starting exactly at 2:00:01, the integrity of the 'motor club' erodes at a fast rate.

So one calls back, only to be placed on the original 'hold' phone system and if lucky, doesn't have to start the whole process from the beginning. But the 'remote' sense of these phone centers also adds anxiety.

So I was very pleased when the Car Shield driver appeared at 00:45:00 as expected.

While the world over embraces 'Apps', and the cost to develop is understood, having more direct communication using texting would be a lot better than being placed on hold.
