Generally, satisfied. Above my deductible I had to lay out an additional $295.00 which I did not expect nor welcome. To complete the necessary repair, the ignition wire and spark plugs needed to be removed. Which necessitated the replacement of both components. I understand those two items are not covered, however, since the oil leak repair required their disturbance I believe Car Shield should have covered the cost including additional labor fee for replacement. Let me say, I realize CarShield does not consider coverage of items under the contract. I would not put in a claim for just ignition wire and spark plugs had they not been intricate parts of the complete repair. It seems that when necessitated these items should be included in the total repair cost. I hope you use my thoughts as a gentle push to include such items in total repair going forward. For some reason all the BMW service centers here in Memphis, TN do not except CarShield. I spent several years paying for a warranty that no excepted.

Then they said car shield only authorized for 5 days. I am a disabled vet, cant walk very good. I called cae shield and they said they would go day by day. In contact with ford dealership repairs and they tell me they sent on some link what car shield wanted twice, had to call car shield, they said they didnt get it all, had to call dealership and tell them that. Never thought I would have to gety so entangled in this process. I am a disabled vet that has to work full time to survive and had many health issues over the years. Service was satisfactory although drawn out. The necessity to have inspection done b4 work could b started was prolonging. Trusting the company mechanic would seem logical to me.

So far so good, eventually we had mechanical problems, the Car Shield warranty helped and paid for repairs, we are happy, I wish they could pay for smaller repairs. So far so good, I am happy we have the coverage. Thank you. We needed the coverage and it helped.

I did not attempt to get a rental because I had limited funds. I didn't realize that it would take 4 days to complete my repairs. Luckily I had a friend from church who let me use their extra car for transportation.
