After years of paying, I finally felt protected and confident. When my engine started smoking, I took the car to a participating mechanic. After several inspections by Car Shield, they confirmed my car was under recall or something, and I had no choice but to make arrangements with the mechanic. I kept trying to reach them, and after multiple conversations, my mechanic also reached out, explaining the situation. They kept doing tests, really trying to deny the claim. Horrible experience—seeing these celebrities claim how helpful they are makes me want to throw up.
I worked with 3 different advisors over two days and got my costs down to $69.99 which was something I can afford monthly. Be sure to mention you are a senior!

Well about 3 weeks ago the handle on the inside of the driver's door broke off and i called car shield to see if that part was covered and it wasn't. But I'm still glad that i have an account with car shield because other parts are covered! :)

I was contacted by a very pleasant CarShield Administrator who politely informed me that my bank card on file had expired. CarShield's service is so seamless that I totally forgot to update my account's payment method when I received my new card. I was so happy to receive the call; it's like having a guardian angel. In a few moments, I was able to update my information with the CarShield Administrator... again, seamless. CarShield makes retaining their services so easy and user-friendly. I am so glad they contacted me because I do not want to drive without them.

I heard that car show went bankrupt and have been taking customers money for the last few months and the customers were never notified so how are we going to get our money back so I think you owe us a great deal of money

I went to my favorite oil change place and was advised i had a rear main seal leaking, called carshield and the told me step by step what to do, went to the dealer and got the inspection. Dealer called CarShield, parts were ordered, received a lrental as the dealers loaner was already in use. Next day picked up my repaired vehicle and drive home. No Muss No Fuss... Will be a CarShield customer for life.

I find that car shield lives up to their tv advertisements. They contact me and explain what will be done. I can then accept (which I do). I find that car shield is very fair for all the parties concerned with the particular problem.

First trying to get to talk to a human will take 15 minutes. There are no instructions on how to get to a human, you can only talk your answers. When you finally get to talk to a human it takes 2 people to get you to maybe the correct person. You get different answers from different people and can't get to talk to a supervisor.

We we have had car shield for 7+ years on both cars. My car is a older car wanted to verify the coverage older coming up on 20 years and the agent gladly informed me that I didn't have to worry about my coverage sort of speak we were grandfathered in and that was for the 2006 Ford Mustang.

First, my car broke down. It was the fuel pump, like I expected. They towed it to a repair shop. Then a Car Shield rep called to say if I let them order the part, it would be saving me to pay out $375's. Of course, I said yes. Well, they only ordered one part of the fuel pump, so I now am waiting on the other part to be shipped to the repair shop. Car Shield told me yesterday that it should have been rec'd on Monday, but they were notified that it would be rec'd the next day. Now this is Wednesday and the part hasn't even been shipped yet. I am renting a car, and even though Car Shield will reimburse me, I am still responible for the interest that I am accuring for now over a week. Not a happy customer!

The repair is what I have a problem with. My transmission needs to be replaced and you want to use a used transmission with a ******* mile One year warranty on it. That is terrible. First of all I can't believe you want to use a used part to fix my car. And then it's going to come with a limited warranty like that. That may be the worst part of it all. So if I drive a lot this year and I go over ******* miles and it goes bad in a year then I have to deal with this all over. Absolutely terrible. And then you guys also don't cover the cost for the shop to receive the part. Handling fee which is common practice for the shop to charge. So it should be part of the repair. Terrible service from you.
