Well something happened with my car after diagnosis was given and after they found out I needed an engine they denied my claimed and nothing happened cause prior shop recommendations was an engine but shop owner recommendations was a head gasket however that wasn't the case so because of this they decided my claims
My engine was seized up. Never, ever leaked a drop of oil. I spilled some down the front of the engine while doing my last oil change. Carshield sent out some "mechanic" to the shop where my car was and his "review" was that all the oil had leaked out of the engine due to "oil leaks". Again, the car never leaked a drop in 5 years but they were looking for any reason to deny my claim. They want me to pay thousands for a teardown of the engine...and regardless of what they find, they will simply use the "excuse" of all the oil "leaked out" and it was my fault. Absurd and simply trying to scam the customer. The shop I brought it to is first rate and they warned me on day one that Carshield would try something like this! Beware!

I heard an unusual noise from under the hood of my car as my wife was pulling into our driveway. This car is a Hybrid and I had never heard this noise before. It only made the sound when the gas engine was running
I made an appointment at my dealership and informed Car Shield that I had. It turned out that the transmission part that was unserviceable was the culprit. Car Shield was right on it. Between the dealership and Car Shield, the decision was made to replace the transmission and by doing so, I got a 2yr unlimited mileage warranty with the repair. I would highly recommend Car Shield to anyone, they really do take care of their clients. Of I could give 6 or 7 stars I would...

They are #2, Endure is #1! They only use their parts, never explained! Rental car, you can't get one only for shipping if one day, repair 1 day. So one day rental even if your car is in longer in line for repairs! Even if the repair place needs longer to repair as many are on the repair list for them worthless! They are a 3rd part warranty program, Endure is not! 3rd party is not good! You can't cancel ahead of time, so you have to call back 3 days before your payment is due! I would not recommend them! Call Endure, it might be a bit more but in the end you are coming out way ahead!

I called to speak with someone about getting a Carshield booklet for my vehicle, which I have since received. This experience went very well as I have submitted. About 3 days later I was called by a rep to discuss home warranty coverage. After I listened to the rep I clearly stated that I currently have coverage and was not interested. The rep continued to try to sell me on your product after I stated three times that I was not interested. I ended the call by hanging up.
Unfortunately, i wasn't able to keep the coverage too long. During the time I did have it, i wasn't able to use it as i didn't have the correct coverage for my incidents, which was on me, i guess. The potential is there however for a good response. The only other hold up was the fact that the dealership did not recognize Car Shield. Whether this was because of the dealership practices that Car Shield did not agree with, or the dealership didn't agree with Car Shield practices, I really don't know.
Either way, research, check out what you need and compare. Still a good idea in today's society, high prices, and loss of dependable shade tree mechanics.

After reading the negative reviews I decided to cancel my subscription to Car Shield. When I hit the road I want to be sure that my vehicle will be covered. It seems that Car Shield will use any technicality to not pay.

My alternator was bad on my 2011 Cadillac SRX so the car repair dealer called Car Shield to file a claim for me. The dealer was told that Car Shield was going to furnish the new alternator. The new alternator was delivered 4 days later, but it was supposed to have been overnight express mail to the repair dealer.
I was really stressed out for the delay because we were scheduled to leave for Florida for an important appointment. The repair dealer said the Car Shield Claim representative never gave them a chance to match, or beat, the price of the new replacement alternator. They had a new alternator in stock for our car. For this incident, we are somewhat disappointed in the way the first claim we had was handled. I did talk with Car Shield's representative, but we never discussed what the repair dealer offered for the new alternator.
I had a breakdown on my car as I was going on vacation. My daughter, who was driving us to the airport, had a breakdown and had our car towed back to F&F Motors, who is one of the approved stations. She requested an estimate so she could discuss the repairs with us. However, F&F never gave her the estimate and so CarShield declined our claim. Very dissatisfied customer!

Car started acting funny early Friday morning on my way to work. Called car shield had it towed to repair shop. Tow charge 180 dollars out of pocket 55 dollars
Repair shop looked at my car Monday morning around 1130a ran diagnostics on my car discovered it was the transmission. Had a new transmission installed and was completely done with my car by 11a Friday morning. I received a rental car that Wednesday. At no cost to me. Which did take a little longer to get than I was happy about but everything turned out fine. I'm truly happy and blessed that I have Car Sheild. The monthly charge is definitely worth paying.
Relentless calls, mail, on purchasing their home insurance! I have the car insurance, I don't want or need their home insurance, and I have told them this numerous times! I told the last guy who called me that I will cancel any business with you if you don't stop! They must have a 3rd party call center from the Philippines

No legitimate company on earth needs to enlist the services of low life spammers to hawk their products. The authorization process for my transmission replacement was too long, then they would not use the dealer replacement transmission, had to wait until carshield ordered from their source, so I was basically without my vehicle for 10 days, I don't know if the replacement transmission is new, used, refurbished or salvage, do I have a warranty on it
