I am greatly disappointed in the service I received in my most recent claim. My first claim two years ago was great since it was an accepted claim. My second claim which was this month was not a great experience at all. For one, Carshield could not find an approved tow company so I was out $125 for a tow that Carshield will not reimburse me for even though I have a receipt from the tow company. The approved repair shop called Carshield to advise of the diagnosis of my 2012 Traverse. Diagnosis was melted terminals in fuse box due to over surge on the circuit. I have no idea how that occurs as that is out of my control and Carshield denied it due to "external exposure", whatever that means. So much for my $100 deductible that they advertise on television. I am going to be out $641.85 for repairs that Carshield should be covering PLUS the monthly fee I pay Carshield for the coverage and the tow bill. This is going to cost me around $950.00 now.

Looks for ways to not cover or do any repairs. The shop staff told me that he does not like to work with the company. My truck was at the shop for two weeks and no one from CarShield contacted me nor the shop. I had to continue to call them.

The experience of being a car shield customer was rather a different one- when I took my vehicle to the mechanic all was okay until the choosing of parts to use- one part they said use only OEM then the next part use aftermarket? Why? Well it's all about cost I can tell- but then cs didn't want to pay for diagnostics. But the oem and aftermarket parts got me - one thing was an oil cooler the oem one is plastic and known to crack over time and they had an upgraded one which was aluminum and cs did not want to pay for it but then when it came to a wheel hub bearing they want to use aftermarket because it was cheaper than oem- just weird to me…

I put a call in to see if a certain part on my jeep was covered. So when speaking with the representative she explained my coverage and what I needed to do. It was an excellent conversation- even though I didn't need to use the coverage after all, it's great to know that I have help with me. I had to put my truck in the shop. He said there was a hose for the DEF system. It had to be replaced and it may also require either turbo charger or the deaf system itself so they replace the hose. They couldn't tell so they replace the hose cover hoses. So when they replace the hose, it cost $1000 or $998 and you guys did cover. Please send me a list of stuff that you don't cover so I know whether I wanna stay with you guys or not.

Last year I needed a motor for my 2016 Range Rover Sport HSE TD6 Deisel. The motor cost 40,000. CarShield only paid $*******. This year I needed a gear shift, the warranty didn't pay anything?

Paid mi they. Had a problem. They nicked and died the auto shop and covered repairs were denied for a dispute over 30 mins of labour cross over with repairs. I paid for repairs that didn't even come close to what I paid in coverage. Scam scam
